I want to thank the young lady working the register at Moore's today she was exceptional. I ordered the crawfish etouffee which came with fried fish, white rice, green beans and potato salad. I really have no complaints about this meal it was really good and the amount of food received is what one would expect. This is definitely a hole in the wall. But a hole in the wall with a bunch of really nice people coming in and out ordering food to go. I had great conversation with other customers who were also waiting for their food. Most definitely a go to place whenever I come back in the area.

Walk down a step over to the back of the restaurant where the food is served cafeteria style. You can get it in a to-go container (highly recommend) or on a platter. We all chose the to-go container because he piled on the so good food!! Smothered ribs, white rice, collard greens, stuffed turkey, shrimp stew, corn, etc. The menu changes depending on the day of the week; we were there on a Thursday. Consensus amongst our group was that ALL food items were delicious. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful, quick to answer all of our many questions. Also, they have a more efficient pre-order via ''TEXT'', but it uses a different mobile # 337-347-0782. One can check daily menu updates via f-b, then TEXT an order, so it'd be ready when picked-up. Meanwhile, foods quality is always "very good'' to excellent, and the value is great. CAVEATS: Very crowded during lunch hour rush, no off-street parking, & road construction ongoing. Foods often have high levels of sugar, salt, & peppers. Quantities are ENORMOUS; the 2 of us elders can't ever eat one entire plate lunch. Definitely a highly recommended lunch stop. Rick .

They also served a bread basket of thinly sliced salted garlic bread before the meal. We ordered a slice of the chocolate doberge cake to take home which seemed a bit more like French silk chocolate pie with a chocolate cake bottom. Tasted delicious & very rich. Our waitress was very friendly. Plenty of parking spaces outside. They have a large bar area too so seems like it would be a fun happy hour spot after work.
