Shoppers walk along decking and boardwalks to access the shops. Also, there are different buildings within the shopping center so that adds some interest too. My favorite shops here are The Cottage Shop, Sound Feet Shoes and The Cotton Gin. In addition to shops there are also a handful of restaurants and eateries. And behind the shopping center is a race track and miniature golf course. Timbuck II includes some other business too like a massage place and a real estate office.

In addition to beachy clothes and resort ware they have some shoes, handbags and accessories for adults. They also have some items for children like stuffed toys, books and such. Aside from nicer name-brand clothing, they also have some Outer Banks gear. They definitely have a higher quality selection of tshirts, sweatshirts and fleece jackets than any other store. Other items they carry include cards, puzzles and I think even taffy. The store is clean and well organized but a bit picked over in October, as should be expected.

I tried to -exchange them only - for a different size. Not return them, not get money back, didn't even want a different pair of shoes. They declined- shoes had no blemishes, all tags still on and in the same bag they came in originally. Worst customer service ever. They told me to come back when the "main manager" was in town didn't even look at the shoes. Well I work and my younger daughter is in school and has practice that's why I'm there on a Saturday. Also mind you my older daughter spent about $200 in the store for herself and her sister. They'll take your money no problem but their exchange policy is not good. I will never shop here and my older daughter will not be shopping here again either. We had not used it and attempted to return it (folded, stickers and tags still attached) only to be met with a strong "no, you're not allowed". We had bought it the day before and had the receipt which clearly states that returns are allowed within 30 days. On top of this when we checked out we requested to split the payment down the middle (so we could pay half-half) and the lady at the counter said yes, but when he put his card onto the machine it paid the full amount.
