I almost don't want to post this because I feel like I know a secret. This place is amazing, absolutely beautiful spot. The grounds are green and well kept, everyone was super nice, and I did NOT want to leave! The trail to the beach is quick and easy, they're dog friendly, and sites are level. It's a lovely place and really close to the beach which is fun to see the birds, starfish and tides daily. We had a great time at the RV park with exception of the 4th of July. I wouldn't recommend it for people with dogs who are sensitive to the noise. The fireworks were in nearby communities which we avoided since our dog is sensitive to the noise but that didn't stop the people setting them off nearby. It may be against the law here but people were setting off firecrackers and cherry bombs from 9pm to 1 am. It was the worst night for us and our pup! Not much sleep. We won't pick this time of year to come again. read more

The entire staff was very helpful and kind. I spoke with Jen, Paul, and a gentlemen who had a dog named Ion (I'm sorry I cannot remember his name). They were all very welcoming and friendly. All the spots had a nice ocean view and the restrooms were clean. I would definitely return! read more

We come to SRRVC each year for two weeks. I feel peace wash over driving in. The views are calming. The staff accommodating and sweet. Sites are good size and private. Great beach access and quiet people in the park. Nothing fancy, but the views make up for it. No laundry and older restrooms but did I mention the sunsets and views? read more

Spectacular view!! However we did not feel that this campground was very well-maintained. There's nobody that is over seeing this campground that we ever saw. you check-in via email. The highway is very noisy and detracted quite a bit from our stay. The beach is beautiful and fun to walk at low tide, however, crossing the busy highway was a little precarious for us. I have a 35' fifth wheel and was reserved for site 3. The site is incredibly difficult to navigate with the 5th wheel. With some coaching, I was finally able to get into he spot. The view was nice but the real fun happened when I tried to reconnect. She once the site has a down hill slope for the truck, it was nearly impossible to reconnect with a Pull Rite slider hitch. The clearance between the RV and the truck bed was maybe 1 inch apart. In fact, I tore the front cap molding off the RV trying to lock the kingpin jaws. By the grace of God, it finally locked close! DO NOT reserve site 3 if you're towing a fifth wheel no matter what the Park Ownership tells you. It just doesn't work! read more

We have been visiting Seal Rock Rv for many years. One of the best policies they have is NO LED lights unless you are outside using them. This makes it so people like us can leave our windows open at night to listen to the ocean nearby without having to close blinds because of lights. It also lets you enjoy a nice fire and night sky without someone having to deal with "light noise " from other campers. The staff and sites are amazing in all aspects. Beware of the 5 mph speed limit! This guy is not only is watching you on the cameras but monitoring your speed. We drove through the park at 8mph to see if any spaces were empty -several which we found odd since the surrounding camps were full. We circled back to the office where there was cell service and I got an earful for going 8mph. (missed the posted 5mph sign). He was hyper focused about that speed limit and me on his radar at 8mph--I got some very creeped out vibes. We would not stay. read more

We would recommend staying at any spot in this park. We chose space 18 and had a beautiful view of the ocean. I recommend looking at posted pictures of all spots to see if you like picnic table placement and levelness of outside sitting area. It rained the entire time we were there so that didn't matter. We had a beautiful view and would choose any one of the premium sites, although most had a beautiful view. I was worried about internet after reading reviews but we did not have any issues at all. We ran our fire stick for TV and laptop for work, and had zero issues. Cable didn't really work for us. Not sure why. There is road noise, there is no getting around that. But it did not bother us. I also get anxiety crossing the highway to the beach access, but that's just me. Once you are there, you have access to a beautiful beach with amazing tide pools. Management is easy to communicate with via email. (We requested to extend our stay). I cannot find one thing to complain about in this park. We love it and highly recommend it read more

I was fortunate enough to book a week in space 14 with my extended family beside me in 15. Off by ourselves looking out over the tide pools watching whales on a daily basis. The best time I have ever spent on the Oregon coast! It does sit across the highway from the beach, you have to cross highway to get to the beach but we never had a problem getting across and our camp sits high enough that you don't look directly at traffic, just the ocean. Close to Seal Lion Caves, Sand Dunes in Florence and just outside of Newport with all the amenities. LOVED IT! read more

This RV park meets the needs of RVers of varying physical abilities. If you enjoy sitting inside your rv looking at the ocean and trees, sitting outside doing the same, or being daring and crossing highway 101 to access the beach, this place is perfect. Grocery stores, drug stores and restaurants are about 20 minutes away and there are plenty of cute towns and nice parks an easy drive away. This rv park is clean and clientele sedate and friendly. There is a clean single shower and bathroom for use by the entire park so you may need to rely upon your own facilities. We stayed 7 nights in spot 40 which is a full hook-up with 50 amps. The sight was spacious, had a front row view of the ocean, was pretty level and had a fire ring and picnic table. The cost for 7 nights with added county tax and a state tax was 524 dollars. We felt the price was a bit steep because of the limited bathroom and shower facilities, poor to non existant wifi, the lack of concrete pads ( the hard rock pads were ok, and pretty level, but not what other parks at this price offer) and mostly because of the poorly constructed the sewer inlet. It had a very awkward angle and made it difficult for sewage to readily flow through the hose. Also, since you are right above the open ocean, expect it to be cool, windy, overcast and rainy even in the summer. We were there in early july and it was mostly in the upper 50's and we had 2 days of rain. We were mostly indoor campers as it was too cold and windy to sit around a campfire. I guess my 4 stars is mostly for the view and size of spot 40. Otherwise I would give it a 3. Attached are pictures from each window of the rv. read more

Ocean views, tide pools, private sites, seal and whale spout sightings...wish we would have stayed longer! Sites/setting: We stayed in site 40 and had an amazing view of the ocean and a direct path to the beach! All sites seemed to be rather easy to get in and out. Site pads are gravel and our site was long and level. Had we not needed to run out to the store we could have stayed hitched up. All sites have a picnic table and a nice fire pit (you can purchase wood there for $5 a bundle). Amenities/Utilities: Cell service was hit or miss. There was wi-fi available (you need the passcode). The campground doesn't have a store, so aside from firewood you need to either head to Waldport (5 miles South) or Newport (about 10 miles north). There was a laundry facility, but we didn't use it. Bathroom was small, but well maintained. There is a very small dog play area that is fenced. Probably best for smaller dogs. They do provide doggie bags. Activities: No activities in the park, but it wasn't needed with the beach and tide pools being a short walk across highway 101. Military discount offered. All staff/owners were super friendly and helpful! While my husband was getting us ready to leave I took our 3 little ones to check out the beach one more time and we got tided up in the tide pools and checking out the seals. Check out is 11:30 and it was just before 12 and we were racing back to pull off. The owner came up and asked about our stay. I apologized for the late departure. He was very nice and told us it was no problem and was glad we enjoyed our time there...even though the next guests were waiting to get into the site. We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are hard to beat and the weather was mostly good. Our site (#9) was spacious and quasi private. It is a well kept park and the staff was very nice! The short walk to the beach made this a great trip! It is a beautiful beach with amazing tide pools (the front desk has tide schedules). It isn't super populated and has a private feel. Very beautiful views that can not be denied. But for 509.00 for the week it is still very COVID here. Mask still required in park. Curfew " quite time " 10pm. No LED lights allowed. So my trailer is a 2019 and it came equipped with outside lights but all LED as I would think all newer trailers have. They say no one is " living " here so who is the " tenants / campers bothered by LED ? Are they gone yet ? This is definitely an older folks park. Speed Posted everywhere, mask required, the office is not even open STILL DUE TO COVID. And the man driving around in the golf cart, well just kinda intimidating. You have to cross a busy hwy which wouldn't be bad if there were lights at least on the path to the beach. There are definitely not on vacation vibes here, more staying with grandma for the summer. So maybe check out a few nice places down the road. This one is just ok for the price. View is amazing though. But it is all the way down the 101. read more

We have been coming here from Texas since 2017. The location (right across the street from the ocean) is gorgeous. The sites are not crammed altogether, have hedges around each site for privacy, and are well maintained. In addition, Terry and Michelle, have made our stay extra special. They have come around to tell us of special situations such as burn bans, water advisories at the beach, etc, as well as recommended various local restaurants and attractions. The hosts always have a smile, good morning or good evening to share with the campers. My husband and I have also appreciated the way they come around at night to make sure people have their lights out so we can enjoy the stars...assuming Mother Nature also cooperates. We stayed at the end of June 2021 and it was still really shut down due to COVID, which we found to be opposite of other places we stayed during our trip. The bathrooms were closed, and they weren't allowing tents at all still - again opposite of other places we stayed. There were also signs everywhere that said masks were required outside of your campsite or on the beach. It seemed pretty full but was extremely quiet. We only actually saw one other couple the few days we were there. That all being said, we had an ocean view site and it was beautiful. I loved the shrubs between the sites for separation, and the site was rather large. It was a quick walk down to the highway to cross to the beach. I was worried about having to cross the highway, but it was easy each time. The lock on the gate is on top so children can't access it on their own. The beach is beautiful. Definitely go down during low tide and check out the tide pools. We also saw sea lions on a rock on the south end of the beach. read more

This was my favorite place to stay on a 2100 mile west coast trip. Great ocean view and easy short walk to the beach. RV sites separated by bushes for privacy. Picnic table at site overlooking the ocean. Pandemic kept staff away but place was still being well maintained. Can't wait to stay there again. Only downside would be no laundry facilities and distance from nearest town with services. So be prepared in that respect. read more

SealRocks RV Cove was a great place to stay. We chose an oceanview site. They charged us extra for that. Some of the other neat sites were carved into the mountainside. The Beach!, WOW! Amazing! Each low tide brought about a Spectacular exploratory experience of sea critters in so many tide pools! It's often breezy at this beach so bring a kite. I gave SealRocks a 4 because of one thing--they have only 2 bathroom stalls and one shower. read more

From our trailer window you can see and hear the ocean. The only drawback was weak wifi, which at times not so fun when we wanted to watch something on Roku at night, which is why I gave it a 4 rather than 5. But honestly, with that kind view who needs TV?! We would definitely be back! read more

The location is good. Beautiful view. Between Newport and Waldort so you have options. The beach access is nice but you have to cross a major highway and it's a steep staircase down to the beach. The host(employee) was lazy. It's May 2022, Covid is over, yet the mask required signs are up everywhere and they don't have the restrooms open. Bare minimum. It was decently easy to book but I was told the particular camp sites I requested were and unavailable. No one was at either site we originally requested our whole stay. I had left voicemails with no response. We arrived within an hour of check in and we're told the camp sites were being cleaned so we need to go somewhere else until they were done(very inconvenient considering your traveling with a trailer. We saw not a single person cleaning and our particular site was vacant. The was no customer service. read more

Very nice "old fashioned" rv park. What I mean is, this campground isn't fancy like the premiere parks. It's gravel and a great amount of grass, a fire pit and a picnic table. Our campsite had a view of seal rock and the ocean! (#23). No snotty campers-just plain folk who appreciate the ocean breeze and the scenery. Full hookups too! Path to the beach was nice. read more

This tiny private campground is quirky, but in a good way. Friendly staff, well maintained grounds, and the best part, you're never more than 100 yards away from the beach at Seal Rock Cove, which is a world-class beach all by itself. Although the tiny town of Seal Rock itself has precious little to offer, its location right between Newport (north) and Wadport or Yachats (south) is perfect. When staying at Seal Rock, it's all about the day trips to the many state parks in the region -- and then upon return to the campground, spending long summer evenings on the Seal Rock beach itself watching the sun set. Cell coverage weak to nonexistent, but the campground wifi although not fast was reliable and workable. read more

This is a great place. It's quiet, there is space between the slots and views of the ocean. It's a bit squirrely to move a large rig through when it's muddy but it is a great place to stop when driving along. The folks working there are great. They had some really good recommendations for places to eat, all were spot on to what we were looking for. Bathrooms were clean, the place was quiet during quiet time. Wow...so we wanted to stay at Beverly Beach,...or any of the other state campgrounds that were filled to overflowing DURING THE WEEK....and I was about to take the trailer and go home when we came across Seal Rocks RV Cove. What a find! Not much more than the state parks, yet the sites are GREAT...most are actually in little caves, so you have privacy. We cooked late into the night as we beachcomb until we drop, and we could do so quietly with no issue. There are hot showers, that are pretty clean, and a lovely path to a nearly private beach. Hubby and I even got a bit of alone time at night that way... The hosts are very friendly and sweet. Can't wait to return! read more

We pulled into a site without a reservation and filled out the paperwork for after hours arrival. The next morning we met the staff who were very nice. The location and beach were also very nice! The problem came when we got the bill. We found the location in our Passport America guide. They stated verbally they no longer accepted the discount plan. We paid double what we planned to pay. They gave us a bundle of firewood, but I left still feeling duped on the overpayment. Do not expect a discount at this camp even if it is listed in the current guide. read more

Booked this place over six months in advance. We were coming to celebrate my parents' 25th wedding anniversary and we were so excited about the great view of the beach that we had RESERVED! But when we arrived, someone was in our spot. Turns out that the people who had been staying in the spot previously had arranged to stay an extra night the morning of, and the managers had let them stay regardless of our reservation. The manager came and the people refused to move when asked to do so. The manager did absolutely nothing to get them to comply and instead made us stay in a different, much worse spot. He had us stay free of charge but we. Did not particularly care about the money, given the occasion. Also, there were bright lights all around our campground and I could not sleep. read more
