Before I get into how awesome of a DJ Antonio Diaz is, I wanted to talk about what a great partner he was leading up to the wedding. Consider how stressful wedding planning is and all the different people you need to coordinate with. When vendors aren't showing up to your scheduled calls or forgetting to send you something, the stress compounds. But without a doubt one of my favorite vendors throughout the entire process with DJ Antonio because he was professional, on-time for our calls, reliable, and was just an all-around excellent partner throughout the entire journey. There are a lot of wedding DJs out there but THIS is what I truly appreciated most about him. Not only that, but he really went above and beyond in helping me plan a special part of the evening. I wanted to play a video before dinner, and we were worried that a projector wouldn't work at the time of day that I was planning to do this. We brainstormed some different solutions and he helped me figure out the best way to approach it. Needless to say, it went super smoothly, and I have him to thank for being such a good thought partner. Ok, the music. We were SO happy with DJ Antonio's process and his music selection! He definitely knows his stuff, and he has a very good sense of what to play based on the crowd, the mood, and the overall atmosphere. Talk about reading the room--DJ Antonio knew how to bring the crowd to the dancefloor! He also played most of the stuff we requested in advance, but also did a nice job filling the spaces in between. Our crowd was mostly on the younger side, but for the few older folks we had he knew how to bridge that gap. Lastly, as an overall MC we thought he did an awesome job too. He took great care in remembering all of the speaker's names, and he was otherwise great at just keeping it lively and fun. Antonio is by far the BEST! He DJ'd my wedding this past September and he couldn't have done a better job. His website let me put a playlist together for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing which was so convenient. And when the playlist would run out he added songs that went perfectly with the previous played songs (some I'm very happy he played because I Dorothy to add them). He was so organized and really took the stress off the whole music situation, which is a really important factor at a wedding to me. We hired Antonio for a November 2010 wedding at Holman Ranch in Carmel. A lot seemed to not go right with the weather but Antonio just mad every thing work out great, he really made our event smooth... Antonio is the best!!! Absolutely 5 stars for the fantastic job he did at our wedding at Scott's Garden in Walnut Creek. Not only did he deliver, but he went above and beyond! He takes notes of everything to make sure that the bride ad groom get everything they ask for! We couldn't be happier! He's the perfect combination of low-key in communication while being extremely organized and professional. Antonio did a great job at my clients' wedding at the Holly Farm. From start to end, he was super professional, taking his job extremely seriously, ensuring that every detail was perfect for my clients. He arrived at 10am, extremely early considering the wedding ceremony was not going to start until 2pm. He was very diligent throughout the whole evening, and did a wonderful job emceeing the event, taking care to learn the pronunciation of everybody's names, and making sure the timing of each announcement and song was spot on. He knew how to judge the crowd, knew his music, and how to play to the crowd. In the planning process, he proved to be knowledgeable, and made sure to obtain any specifically requested song. We hired him to stay on after 9pm when we had to switch to the iPod music, and my couple said after that that it was one of the best decisions, since they did not want to worry about creating a playlist, and they could just relax and enjoy the night with their families and friends. He was definitely not the least expensive option, but seeing the happy faces of our guests, I knew it was well worth every penny. read more
