When we began the search for a DJ for our big day, we admittedly had extremely high standards. We wanted to ensure the entire sound experience - from the nuances of the ceremony - to speeches and a live musical performance during cocktail hour - to our first dance and ensuring the dance floor was popping the whole night - was immaculate. We spoke with a number of credentialed DJ's, but only when we were put in touch with Ano and Raman through a close friend, did we feel confident we'd found our people! From the first meeting, Ano and Raman were not only extremely prepared, but exuded a calmness and collectedness that set us at ease and made us feel like they had everything under control. We talked a lot about our guest demographics, musical taste, and the various aspects of ensuring a lively dance floor at all times. They asked all the right questions along the way, prepared extensively (they literally made us an incredible sample mash up from a playlist we provided), and visited our venue beforehand to get a good sense of the space and small details that would ensure a GREAT not just a good experience for us and our guests. When it came to the day of, they surpassed our highest expectations, getting there early, every cue and mic volume setting on point, even emceeing the flow of the day to ensure guests knew what was next, and introducing our speeches. But most importantly, they absolutely killed it during the dancing, with an incredible lighting set up, playing banger after banger, and mixing in the next song extremely creatively while reading the vibe of the crowd to make the small tweaks in real time that most DJs just do not do. We liked them so much, we begged them to DJ our after party. They broke down the set up at the venue, and then drove to the after party location to get the party going before the first guests even arrived. They kept the party bumping and everyone moving and having a great time til almost 2am! We had our wedding this Saturday 2/10/2024 and had DJ Ano as our DJ/MC and we couldn't have been more happier.
