The owner who takes your order is rude argumentative and not a little bit helpful he's tried to deny their specials tell us we had to come back from again to get a special twice in a row now this time they messed up our sandwiches I ordered a pastrami on sourdough with mayonnaise onions Dijon mustard and provolone cheese what I got was a roast beef sandwich with provolone cheese jalapenos and yellow mustard and it wasn't very good at that through most of it in the garbage. It's too bad sourdough and company actually had a really good product but this location even though it's close to my house I will never go to again I will go across town or the mountain House rather than to ever go to the one on Tracy boulevard again their prices are not cheap and have to put up with the guy taking the orders and then not getting what you ordered it's just not worth it. read more

When Sourdough & Co first opened here in Tracy it was already on the expensive side, but I thought the sandwiches, soups and salads were pretty darn good and with the $$$. It seems like something has changed over the last few months with both the prices and food quality. Prices seem to have increased and the food quality has decreased. I used to frequent this place for lunch and order on-line. Somehow they ended up changing their ordering process making it harder and less convenient. Our first time at a Sourdough & Co location! We came in on a Saturday for lunch. The in-dining "crowd" consisted of us and another pair, but there seemed to be many phone or online orders. The three sandwich ladies behind the counter seemed to be working very hard to meet those orders. We decided to order a 6" roast beef with au jus sauce from the specialty board and a 4" turkey sandwich. Food did not take too long to come out. Our sandwiches seemed proportional, enough meat and other toppings. It is definitely a little smaller than other sub places especially for the posted price, but we thought everything was very tasty! We're small eaters, so we thought the sandwiches were enough. Service was also great! Will definitely be coming back to this location. read more

Another nice sandwich spot in the area. They have a variety of sandwiches on their menu. I built my own veggie and I felt like overall it was pretty good! The bread and veggies were all fresh. The mac and cheese was pretty good as well! It was served hot which was nice. Just a heads up that they are very busy during lunch time. I ordered online for pickup and it took over 30 minutes from the time I ordered which was fine because I understood they were busy! This place is a little small so best to get your order togo. This was my first time ordering, and I ended up being thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the Italian Salad which some of the lettuce artichoke heart and pepperoncini were visibly brown on the edges. I assumed the lettuce was wilted but I have no idea what was wrong with the other items. Typically, an Italian Salad has chopped Italian Dry Salami, my salad had what looked like and tasted like Cotto Salami. I must say the picture in the menu certainly fooled me, I think going forward I will stick to my tried and trusted Greek Salad with Chicken from Panera Bread and you should too! read more

The service was great. We were welcomed right away and the employee answered our questions and took our order efficiently even with a line. Went at lunch time and the place was packed. It's a small dining area and maybe one table open. People ordering sandwiches to go were waiting outside since no room to wait inside. We got ours to go as well. I had the Smoked Brisket Sandwich. It was good but the bread was a little hard so took away from the sandwich itself. I got my mom the Roast Beef Sandwich and her bread was hard as well. Prices for the sandwiches are high to me for what you get. I don't mind paying more but it needs to be a quality sandwich. We had the New England Clam Chowder Soup and it was fine. Let's start with the positive. The place was clean, it is a new building and been open couple months now. Cashier was very friendly, great customer service. I ordered an 8" hot roast beef with provolone with a side of potato soup. The bread was nice, the soup was ok. Sorry to say the sandwich was very disappointing. It was filled with shredded lettuce, a thin tomato, one slice of cheese and 2 slices of roast beef. For a $20 meal??? put some meat in that thing. I probably wouldn't eat there again. Should have went to Safeway. They make a way better sandwich and in my opinion, use a way better quality meats, boars head products. read more

Been coming to this establishment since they opened... best bread in town. I always get a fresh baked loaf and ask for extra butter. For the first time since opening... I was charged $2 for butter. I asked for a refund on the butter and the server was quite rude. It's too bad that a handful of butter will keep me from buying locally! 05/16/2023- Was disappointed today. Ordered delivery and have a couple times before, but they prepared the sandwich incorrectly. Ordered the #19 Brisket and the Grilled Chicken Caesar. 2 of each. The brisket sandwich was just bread & meat and no other ingredients. It was supposed to have house spread, tomatoes, green chili coleslaw, bbq sauce, and cheddar cheese but none of these items were on it. It was a dry sandwich. We ordered online, order said will be ready in 40 min. We wait till 10 min prior and drive over to get it. The sandwiches aren't ready yet and we continue to wait for another 30 min while seeing people who walked in and ordered after we got there get their sandwiches before us. I ordered a pastrami and paid for extra meat and what I got was like two actual pieces of pastrami. Wonder what the regular meat version looks like. This is like 1/8th the meat you get in a togos pastrami. I know this place has only been open for a few weeks but don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon. It's way too skimpy on the meat. I ordered 45 min in advance and when my husband got there they were still making our sandwiches. I found this place because my favorite sandwich shop Mr Pickles unfortunately close way too early. I was so happy to learn a new sandwich shop open in town. First off, the sandwiches are over price. My favorite bread is Sourdough and the bread didn't really have that Sourdough taste. Unfortunately you can only order French dip small and it's over $10 bucks, but it was good. My turkey salami sandwich was too wet and my bread was soggy. I didn't even finish the other half so that was a waste of 13 bucks. My husband liked his beef sandwich. I might give them a try again only if Mr Pickles is close or when more time goes by so they can get better. They need some improvements on customers time, building the sandwiches, and have true Sourdough bread. Mr Pickles got it down on bomb Sourdough bread and I can order a French dip in a normal size at the same cost. Sorry I do give good reviews and hate leaving unsatisfied reviews. read more

We only ordered 1 item - clam chowder in a bread bowl ($10.81 after taxes). It took 20 min for our food to come out and there was only 1 other customer. The bread was pretty good, but the clam chowder was very watery with less than 1% clams! It was disappointing and quite honestly the worst clam chowder I've had, even worse than the canned ones at the grocery store. Friendly service and the sandwiches are full of meat I am also happy when I reheat it even though it has lettuce because I have a conventional oven, so I can put it on whatever temperature I want. This is the one by Save Mart in Tracy super good! I got the pastrami and they let me try the roast beef and it wasn't for me. Ordered a turkey and salami, and two other sandwiches. Got a 4 inch and 6 inch and an 8 inch. The 8 inch and 6 inch looked the same size. The bread was the best part. Other than that it was a mediocre sandwich. Really small. I ordered extra peppers and olives and didn't get hardly any at all. The lettuce and tomatoes are not great. This place had very slow service. We were here over 30 minutes before we got our order. We ordered 3 sandwiches. Then, the order was completely wrong. It took an additional 10 minutes to fix the sandwich. So it took 40 minutes and over $50 dollars to get our food. Not a good experience. read more
