My go to is either the #8, or the #9. Another thing with the #9 you can do is get the side of au jus, goes good with it, the cheddar cheese on both is a must as well. The service here is generally pretty quick, and they make the sandwiches how it's supposed to. One thing about ordering from the new kiosk, you have to be prepared to tell them little details that the kiosk doesn't let you specify. Like everything else in California, the cost is through the roof now. So if I'm paying $20 for a sandwich, I want it to be made how I like it, IE heavy or light mayo, lettuce, tomato, etc. I'll keep giving this location business. read more

Located in the Safeway shopping center. I haven't had Togos in a while so decided to order a sandwich. I went with a large (9 inches) turkey and salami, for $14. They cut in half which is nice. I was able to save the other for later. They ask if you want everything on it and I said yes except onions. I thought mustard, which is a staple sandwich condiment was included and it wasn't. My sandwich was pretty dry. No pickles or jalapeños either so I'm not quite sure what is included when they include "everything" on it. I felt like I waited quite a bit, considering I was the only one who ordered. The employees were chatting with each other which was a bit awkward to listen to. I waited by the pickup window only to see a sandwich sitting there. I wish they would have told me my order was ready. read more

Man has Togos changed, I wanted to tell them what I wanted as they were making it. I was told I had to pay tell the cashier what I wanted and specifically on the sandwich. Why can't you tell them as you make it? Why change the process when it isn't broken. Place is clean but new design and the way you order sucks. read more

Came in on a Sunday afternoon and was the first person in line. There were some young teenage girls working who could care less about my order as I had to specifically state exactly what I wanted on my sandwich multiple times. Paid for my order and even gave them a nice tip. Several other customers came in and all got their sandwiches made quickly while I was still waiting. After the remaining customers left with their food, all the employees walked into the back door leaving me alone still waiting. I had to walk up and ask about my order. This is the best part, the young girl laughed in my face and asked what my order was as they clearly forgot. I was so pissed I walked out with out asking for a refund. I should have heeded all the poor reviews. Ordered a pastrami and a barbecue beef only to get all the way home and find out that my order was wrong for $12.75. There's no meat on the pastrami sandwich the turkey club that they gave me with bacon which I didn't order and I don't eat, my receipt is correct but my order is wrong. How can that be? Has customer service really just gone out the window? I mean I know it's just you ordering a sandwich and then making it but no greeting, no have a nice day, and no smiles? Lol it's comical. Guy just says i can take your order when you're ready and you tell him your order and he instantly forgets it. I'm the only person in the store at this time. Literally, salami and cheese. Done. I do feel bad not leaving a tip for them but at the same time I have to get some kind of reason to do so. Doing your job does not constitute you receiving a tip. It's a sandwich. Food is decent. Bread meat Mayo mustard cheese. Simple and easy. Ambience is ok after they lighten up the place with the white walls but gets overshadowed by the deaths silent workspace as a worker makes a sandwich doesn't greet and the other yells from across the store. Zero customer service! They absolutely don't care and you can see how it affects the end result. Most people know that togos have good quality ingredients but when those ingredients are just thrown together the results aren't going to be great. The staff is dull and cold, no professionalism whatsoever. I've never felt more awkward ordering a sandwich. In the area looking for a quick bite to eat. Togo's was one our favorite sandwich shops when we lived out here in California! It's one of those places that we typically visit when back! There was open parking up front. Located in a shopping center surrounded by other eateries. Walked in and ordered from the take out counter. Mask is required when entering. Ordered myself a large pastrami sandwich on sourdough bread. The person behind the counter was transactional - no greeting or welcome statement. Placed my order, found my seat at had the it medal and left. They have one of those drink machines that you can select your own drink brand and flavor. The sandwich itself was okay. Having it on sourdough bread was perfect. This was a great snack to tie me up for lunch. read more

Looks like Togo's corporate has nuked their existing website and replaced it with something else (powered by OLO). Gone is my previous purchase history, gone are my favorite sandwiches and gone is easy re-ordering my lunch. Not appreciated Togo's. Its also not easy to use. Food is always good, fresh vegetables and well stocked. 2 out of the 3 times i have been here i noticed the drink area its a little bit dirty. What a disappointment! My husband and I went there for dinner around 5:30pm. I ordered a #3 with extra Mayo and he ordered the Ruben. First, we were handed the wrong sandwiches and we realized this when we were in the car. We went back in and they didn't seem to care, but hastily made us the sandwiches we ordered. When we got home, there was no Mayo on my sandwich and no mustard on my husbands. He put mustard from our fridge on it. There was literally no pastrami on his sandwich either! Booooo. Turkey sandwiches are my go-to sandwich when I don't know what I want but am hungry. I was excited to try this place out but was SO disappointed. 2 sandwiches, 2 cookies and 2 sodas was over $32! Once I was over that, I was shocked at how little was in the actual sandwich. 3 of us walked in yesterday at 4 PM after a long day. Store was empty, clean and inviting and there were 5 staffers behind the counter. (Those with long hair need to put it up out of the way). We ordered 3 items : 1 sandwich, 1 gluten free wrap, and a half salad to go. Each had an ingredient modified based on dietary restrictions and one had extra meat added. We confirmed everything before completing the transaction and after a brief interval our food was ready. As the order was handed to us, the clear packaging of the salad revealed 2 errors that were pointed out (plus missing dressing). They did a remake and included the dressing. The sandwich and wrap were...all wrapped up in the bag and it wasn't until we got home that we discovered multiple errors with those 2 items. The wrap was ordered to be gluten free. Opened the paper wrapping and the sandwich "wrap" immediately fell apart, becoming a half salad with plain wrap on the side, revealing 4 errors: the wheat based croutons were left in, and the cheese and 2 other normal ingredients we wanted were omitted (and the romaine ribs were turning brown). The pastrami sandwich had 3 errors: it was supposed to be just the bread and extra meat (no veggies, onions, or condiments - allergy), and was paid for that way...but it had onions, mustard and there clearly wasn't any extra meat. So, we paid $35 for 3 items that weren't just wrong, we could not eat 2 of them. All 3 of us work in service/management. Yes, mistakes happen, but it's pretty rare for it to happen in multiple ways with every item in an order, when it's all clearly and correctly spelled out on the ticket that was still attached to each item. If someone else get our items by mistake, that would mean up to 3 other orders went wrong...and the other customers paid $11+ each for the wrong meal as well. The name "To-Gos " implies a specialty in making sandwiches to order, to go. The main point in stopping to pick up a good sandwich on the way home from work was to simplify and remove stress after a long day. We could have stopped at Subway or Safeway, and watched as our items were made to order so there would be no errors... for half the cost (including chips and a beverage). In addition to our mis-spent $35 it would have cost us over an hour of our time plus gas and more stress to return for remakes of the other 2 items, so they ended up the the trash and we made scrambled eggs and split the half salad for dinner. The single star is for the salad remake with no argument. I've been to other locations and ordered catering for business events and never had everything go this wrong. Based on other reviews of this location our concerns are not uncommon, and there are 3 more customers that won't be back. read more

Went here with sister to grab dinner. Wasn't packed since it was a weeknight. My sister hit it off with the employee. Talking about kids and their weird habits lol. I don't have kids so I can't relate plus I kinda zoned out after that lol. I ordered the sandwich of the day which was the salami sandwich with everything on wheat. I've been to many Togos over the years and this one has always been sub par at best and like others keep going back hoping it can met the usual Togos standards. The last couple of times recently I ordered hot roast beef and noticed there was very little meat (more like a subway portion) . I asked the employees why the portion was a small they said they guessed the portion size had changed (no kidding)!! So I cancelled the order.. The thing I think is pretty weird is how many bad reviews they get and the responses are from a business relations saying they notified the business owner. How many bad reviews do owners get until something is actually done to make it better!!!!!! Come on Togo's business owners and fix this place!!! I used to like coming here but I'm sick of the incompetence. It's ridiculous to sit there and order over the phone "NICE AND SLOW" so they can hear you properly. I ask for them to repeat the SAME order so I know it's right, right? Get there and of course I didn't feel welcome at all just because I made an order for five sandwiches I knew I wasn't going to get service properly. Make sure you always get your receipt here. As far as Sandwich places go this is alright. We're not exactly spoiled for Sandwich and Deli options in Tracy so this place does the job when you want something quick. The staff are efficient enough, I mean they manage to make my order without any screw ups and generally don't have me wait too long. I just wish they wouldn't all have conversations among themselves while they're trying to make my Sandwich. It's hard to tell them what you want when you're interrupted by someone talking about their plans for Saturday night. The Sandwich is fresh and they are tasty too, just one thing I feel they could improve on and that is to cut the Sandwich fillers up. I like to have Pepperoncini but they don't seem to cut them here, instead I get a whole one slapped in the middle of my sandwich. I finally got to go back to my favorite Togo's today in Tracy, Ca... They have newly remodeled and had a new sandwich which I had to try. It's called the PREZELAMI... It was a pretzel bun with mustard, piled high with hot pastrami, melted monterey jack cheese (I substituted swiss) and pickles...I also had them add onions... Looked kind of small until the sandwich was completely built...The guy that helped me said I could put all veggies on it if I wanted, but this was plenty.. The staff is really nice and the store is really clean... I will definitely be going back. Oh, by the way, this sandwich is with a drink for a little over $6.00 on Mondays. read more

I went to this Togo's last month and one of the employees was not wearing a mask. All of the other workers had masks on. I asked one of the young men that worked there why she wasn't wearing a mask and he said he didn't know but that she was a manager. I asked the maskless manager if everyone had to wear masks and she said that she didn't have to because she had a medical condition. I've always loved Togo's, but this spot has good quality food. I ended up getting the turkey avocado sandwich with white bread and I was very happy with my choice. Their measurements for their ingredients are calculated perfectly because I felt that the amount on my sandwich was what you'd want on a sandwich. I mean, some lettuce fell out, but nothing too crazy. It was the right amount of avocado. Some place put too little or too much and I feel like it can kill the flavor of the sandwich itself. They put just enough, even a little more than average if you ask me so you get your money's worth. It's not too pricey for what you get and this location is conveniently located close to where I live so I love it. read more

Today was one of my worst experiences at a sandwich shop ever. I went to pick up an online order, and they couldn't find it...the blonde girl working acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. She says " are you sure you ordered, cuz I did t get it..." I think she may have been having a bad day...at least she should tell people that, cuz her attitude was crazy rude. After standing there waiting for my mom to send the online order number to my phone, another worker finds the order sitting on the waiting for pick up area. After I get home, set down to eat and find the entire order wrong! Save yourself some stress and eat somewhere else...Togo's is my fav sandwich shop, but I'd avoid this location like the plague. Togo's is a childhood favorite of mine, and I only have a chance to eat their sandwiches when I visit home.
