She took out the sandwich from the bag, unwrapped it and added what I wanted which was quite a few things. One of the times I ordered in the shop, I asked if they could grill the meat of the sandwich and the worker was very kind about it and did it for me so my last couple orders in the app, I have requested the same thing, but they don't do it :( Not sure if they're not seeing the note or just don't want to do it. this time my sandwich was already built, so I didn't wanna ask her to go through the trouble of disassembling it. overall, their sandwiches are very good.

Recently, I decided to grab a bite at Togo's Sandwiches, a place I'd heard had a decent reputation for serving hearty sandwiches. My experience, however, was a mixed bag with both highs and lows that make it land squarely in the territory of "average". To start with the positives, I must commend Togo's on their extensive range of sandwich options, catering to a variety of taste buds and dietary preferences. Their menu boasts an array of sandwich combinations that can tantalize the palate of even the choosiest eater. Moreover, the freshness of the ingredients used in their sandwiches was quite noticeable. The vegetables were crisp, and the meats seemed of decent quality, contributing to a sandwich that, from a structural point of view, held together quite well, even with generous fillings. Now, shifting gears to the areas where Togo's could improve. The foremost issue I encountered was with the customer service. It seemed like the staff was somewhat disinterested and not entirely focused on providing a pleasant customer experience. This was reflected in the somewhat lengthy waiting time, which, given the not-so-busy hour, felt unnecessary. Moreover, the ambiance of the place left much to be desired. The seating area felt slightly cramped and not the most comfortable for enjoying a leisurely meal. Furthermore, when it comes to the flavor profile of the sandwiches, they somehow missed hitting the mark of excellence. While the ingredients were fresh, the sandwiches lacked a certain zest and flair that would have taken them from good to great. I work at the Safeway right near to Togo's, and I come here every day on my lunch for a nice Hot Pastrami Sandwich. The people behind the counter are always happy to see me when I come walking through the door, and I feel welcomed in the store not just as a customer, but as a regular acquaintance with the shop. One of the ladies was kind enough to recognize I come often, and recommended I sign up for Togo's Rewards. Her suggestion netted me three dollars off my most recent order, and considering how often I purchase there, I expect I'll see more pleasant rewards in the future. I've never had a bad experience with the customer service in the months that I've been visiting, and I'm almost always greeted with "Hello, Welcome to Togo's. We'll be right with you!" when I walk through the door. As a customer, it's good to know I'm recognized when I come in - it makes the wait worthwhile when I get up to that counter and see the same smiling faces asking what they can get for me. read more

I absolutely love the Togo's Sandwich at 11th St. location! This is my second time visiting, and every time the experience has been amazing. The place is always very clean, organized, and welcoming. The employees provide some of the best customer service and are always friendly and professional. They really set a high standard for quality and service. I especially love their tuna sandwich -- it's always fresh and delicious! Definitely one of my favorite spots, and I will keep coming back. read more

Super, super busy at 1:30 on a Thursday, but that's probably because they are so new. The place is way too small to house a busy sandwich shop, and the people making the sandwiches were scattered (I was talking over the guy next to me so the lady could hear me, etc..). The staff was nice, but I still don' think they had as good of customer service as the Togo's in Livermore (my usual location). Overall the food was good and service was okay.
