It's extremely frustrating and honestly unacceptable for a company to give false ETAs, repeatedly confirm service, and then simply cancel without any communication. When someone is stranded, especially with a young child, reliability and honesty matter. I pay for roadside assistance benefits specifically for situations like this, and Scenic Towing completely failed to provide the service they promised. She called yesterday asking if she could pick her car up, and was told someone would call her back. No one returned her call. She called again this morning saying she really needed her car and was told to call back after 12:30. She finally got her car but had to pay over $600 (over $300 per day). We called a couple of towing services, I even tried AAA and they were non-responsive. I called Johnny at KB. He looked the situation over and towed us from Tracy to Walnut Creek. This was late at night and we were just happy to be home He took extra time to make sure he didn't scratch the bottom of the car or any parts of the car. I drive a Porsche so I was concerned about that and he was very good about that. My wife and I and Johnny had a great conversation all the way back to Walnut Creek where he unloaded our car I hope they never need a towing service again in Tracy, but if I do, I will absolutely call Johnny at KB.
