When I called to inquire about my appointment, Sousan answered the phone with a Hello. "Um..." After confirming it was the Med Spa, I scheduled my appointment and she told me she would be doing my facial. The correct address is the Post Oak location although here on Yelp it mentions Edloe. I googled this place quite a few times before scheduling because I was looking for a specific treatment and Sousan seems to be the only person offering them, Silk Peels. The inside of the building is an open floor plan with plants everywhere. I had to call Sousan to find her office because its tucked down a hall in the first floor. Maria came out and walked me down the hall to the brightly lit office where I filled out a couple forms before heading down the spa hall and into a room. The softly lit room smelled so fresh and just looking at the white comforter on the table made me relaxed enough to fall asleep. I was told then Maria would be doing my peel and I was already relaxed And had built a small rapport with Maria so I was ok with it. Maria did a great job and I'm very pleased. Sousan is such a sweet heart, my boyfriend has been coming to her spa for a while now to get his laser service, she's the kindest, makes sure to answer all of your questions and makes you feel like you've known her her whole life. I've got laser previously from a different spa and today that I came with my bf to do his at Sousan's I see that the machines they use here are way better and my boyfriend had NO PAIN at all like I did from the other spa while getting the laser. read more

Well, my first experience with laser hair removal turned in to be very interesting and satisfied with Sousan Med Spa. First of all, If I could give Sousan Med Spa more than five star I would. Sousan is such a nice lady and she was very detailed oriented and expert at her profession. The place was very clean and ambiance was very attractive so I could relax while I was waiting for my treatment to start. After the owner Sousan showed up with her nice smile, her presentation regarding their high end mashines and their methods at Sousan Med Spa amazed me and more than that when my treatment starts, I could barely notice a soft and smooth laser machine gun on my skin. I've only visited Sousan once, she did a consultation on my face and advised I have a silk peel and other treatments at a later date. I am conflicted. Sousan herself is lovely, genuinely really nice and she seemed to really want to help but the spa was all over the place. Firstly they thought I was in for laser treatment (easy and not a huge mistake) but then I realise they didn't really have any record of me being booked in at all and had no idea what I was in for. So when I explained I was rushed into a room and given a 2 minute consultation from Sousan. All the while she is trying to delegate to her staff to get this machine that machine honestly it was kind of comical which is why I ain't mad. When I was moved into the room to do the silk peel all was good. The treatment was fine but mid way through other staff members kept coming in to switch up machines, am lying there in a wee robe , door wide open to other customers and it's freezing so not exactly the spa like ambience you'd expect for 150 bucks. Anyway after the treatment I paid and booked in for the other treatments. Here's my stickler. I was told to wear spf , "wear spf wear spf" again it was super chaotic, I'm like ok that's fine. Being a noob to the medical spa and to treatments myself I had no idea how intense spf I need and next day went out with spf 30 on and the day after my face was red raw burnt. When I spoke to my bestie who's in the spa industry she gasped, uh no you should be wearing at least spf 50 after such an intense exfoliation treatment. I wish they had been more clear as someone who doesn't know a thing about facial treatments I didn't know to ask how strong the spf was. Anyway despite that the treatment was good and my skin , no longer burnt, does look nice from it. I'd go back but I'd advise the team to have a coordinator or something in place. It's such a lovely spa inside and you can tell they genuine care but there's massive communication issues that would make me pause before spending a lot of money there again. My wife and I totally recommend Sousan's Med Spa. It has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and Sousan gives every client specialized and individual attention. The moment you walk into the salon you know you've arrived at the right place. Sousan is a skilled and extremely knowledgeable aesthetician. She and her staff eludes with warmth and confidence. Sousan listened to our concerns and goals. She did a really good analysis of our skin and diagnosed what she thought our skin needed. She offered suggestions and made excellent recommendations. My wife landed up getting the Anti-Aging Skin Tightening procedure and I got a European Facial. The skin tightening procedure uses radio frequency and light energy. It made my wife's skin look firmer and reduced her wrinkles - she looks 20 years younger. She is thrilled with the results. She no longer feels as if she needs to go for botox treatments - YAY !!! My facial was awesome. It felt great and my skin looked clean and healthy afterwards, or so my wife says. My favorite part of the facial was the massage - face, neck and shoulder. I felt as if I had died and gone to heaven. Sousan uses various product lines but our favorite is Biodroga. We use Biodroga on a daily basis. I really like the products and Sousan always recommends a really good regimen if you are experiencing any skin issues, however, she does not make you feel as if you have to buy anything. I really do not believe Sousan even deserves 1 star. A couple of years ago when I was actively buying procedures from Souson - you couldn't find one positive review on Sousan Med Spa. Now those reviews are no longer showing up anywhere which is concerning. I started with an enhanced package that should take care of my problems. She sold packages at a certain number but she said if I bought 2 more than what she was selling at the time that I would have a wonderful result just as I was looking for. About my second or third treatment - she approached me and told me I should purchase another package because her prices were going up. By the way - as I found out later EVERYTHING this woman says is a lie so she never remembers the lies she told you last week so she is constantly very combative with her words when you remind her that was the opposite of what she said a few days ago. She claims to have a med spa when indeed none of her employees have ever been to professional training. They are very nice people but they will tell you that the only training they had was when they started to work for Sousan and she showed them how to give procedures. When I had someone research her background I could not believe what a fraud she is. Sorry this is so long. I ended up spending $7200 with her and the quality of her instruments were becoming less and less useful but for some reason I kept going there. Then I got really sick and was in and out of the hospital constantly for over a year. I was basically bed bound and not sure I would have a full recovery but I am coming around. I called her to start up my procedures again and she said she had absolutely no record of me ever spending money with her and told me her accountant would research it. She called me back a few days later to confirm her records do not even have my name in them (which is impossible) but she doesn't give receipts though I have record on my statements of my purchases which she said it wouldn't matter since she has no record. Anyway I just want to warn you about this woman and her fraudulent business and her lies. Anyone who goes there for more than a month or two will recognize things are not right. It worked out well because now I go to a real med spa and I pay more than what Sousan charged me but I get a professional medical experts who take pride in the quality of work they do and they have been to medical school and I have beautiful lasting results. read more

I have been receiving spa services from Sousan's med spa for over 2 years and absolutely love both the results but also the skill and attitude of the staff and Sousan. She is always on site, checks the equipment daily, and makes it clear that the safety of her clients is first and foremost in everyone's mind. She knows exactly what the pros and cons are of the various types of treatments and keeps up with the technology as it changes on a regular basis. Her new site is absolutely fabulous- elegant but not stuffy or intimidating. I have had various laser treatments for body contouring, skin tightening, etc. and have never been disappointed with the results! In the short run, some things can seem a bit expensive but I still believe maintenance is a better approach than salvage and I really, really don't want knives, needles, or chemical globs used on or placed into my face or body. Sousan offers a great array of effective treatments that don't require either of these. I am, and will be, a lifelong customer. read more
