If the owner replies to this review claiming they have no record of working with me, it is a lie. Here is the reality of my four-month, $1,400+ experience with Mowers And More. It started in April with a $210 diagnostic and a $500 PTO clutch replacement that did not solve the issue. They then said I needed a wiring harness. What followed was a frustrating series of delayed appointments. I was incredibly patient and accommodating through all of this, including reschedules for when the owner was hospitalized, and another time when they had to reschedule and couldn't show up because it was very hot that day and they got overheated at their earlier jobs. When they finally showed up weeks later, they realized they forgot to order the necessary PTO switch. They hadn't checked their inventory and blamed an 'AI ordering system' instead of taking accountability. Worse, during the install, they actually blew a solenoid, leaving my mower completely dead and unable to even crank. They had to make another trip just to fix the solenoid they broke. Literally before this entire ordeal, my mower cranked up just fine. Sitting idle for months waiting for their delayed repairs is more than likely what contributed to the fuel issues, not the 'wrong gas' that the owner later tried to claim. During that visit, they drained the fuel system, put on a new filter, and got it running on starting fluid just long enough to claim the PTO worked. They told me my carburetor was 'gross' and that I needed a new one. At this point, I was completely fed up. I told them I would just handle the fuel system myself because I wanted them gone. I never intended to not pay them. However, I clearly communicated that I wanted to get the mower running first so I could personally verify their electrical work. I couldn't just take their word for it. Instead of being understanding, he claimed, 'We did the work you hired us for,' and demanded the $720 final payment for a machine that still wouldn't stay running. I held my ground and refused to pay until I knew the machine worked. I am not a professional mechanic, but I took over, put on a new fuel pump, cleaned my old carburetor (I didn't even need the new one they claimed I did), replaced a single fuel line to the tank, and boom, it fired right up and cut the front yard perfectly. Only after I got it running myself did I go ahead and pay the invoice in full even though I feel like I shouldn't have, just to wash my hands of them and close the account for good. The owner likes to brag that they just won a local repair award. When confronted about this terrible service, he made excuses about how hard the parts supply chain is right now and claimed I 'have no idea' what it is like to run a "repair" business. It is incredibly ironic, especially when my entire career has been building companies in Home Services and Tech. The reality of running any business is that backend logistical issues happen, but it is your job as an owner to manage that chaos so the customer doesn't feel it. Save your time and money and find a true professional.

He told me to bring the generator over that night, I dropped it off at 6:30pm He texted me at 8:30pm, he'd cleaned the gas tank, fixed a leaking fuel valve and cleaned the carburetor, he offered that I could come get it that night, but I was already in for the night. I picked it up Saturday morning. He charged me $80 for the parts and labor, more than reasonable and the urgency with which he responded was unbeatable. Kerry is proof that high quality service for a fair price is alive and well in America. His place is off the main path a bit, but worth the drive.

Kerry got really upset and said that he just wanted the cash from me for the parts and then just walked out of our house because I declined to give him cash up front without any assurance that he would order the parts we needed. I couldn't understand that if Kerry wanted me to pay for the parts why wouldn't he let me make the payment directly to Amazon. I was concerned that if I paid him for the parts up-front that I would never see him again or the parts. Kerry works out of his house and doesn't have a shop. Kerry said he would have to borrow a trailer from someone to pick up my lawnmower. Curious that he doesn't even have a trailer to use. Kerry looked very unprofessional. He didn't have a shirt on and when he was examining our lawnmower. Kerry was smoking all of the time. Very unprofessional. I immediately said the price was $479.99 and their website shows that price and that was the price given when i called. He asked if was still on sale and I said I have no idea but that why a called to confirm inventory and price. He asked who I spoke to and I did not get a name but he would find out who i spoke to. He found the person I spoke to and he said they can't honor the price he gave me for 479.99 because there was a miscommunication? I asked what the miscommunication was when he said what the price was 479.99? He stated they can't sell it at that price and walked away. What piss poor customer service not to honor the price they have on webpage and after confirming that was the correct price. This is bait and switch and I can understand not always updating your website but that's why I called and asked for the price and inventory. Don't be put off by the rural setting. Rayne's a good dude and will work with you. 3) Rayne discovered I had a broken starter recoil spring. He didn't have a replacement but, since the break was near the end, he reconstructed the end to work. He put the starter mechanism back together and installed a new rope. He pointed out that my old rope was too thick and made starting hard, thus putting more stress on the spring, which likely was a factor in it ultimately breaking. 4) Rayne made sure I knew how to pull the starter cord. Yes, there is a right way and plenty of wrong way. 5) I spent an hour with him. His labor and a new starter cord cost me just $20! It definitely was worth my time to drive out there and work with him.

They are sending out another technician from GE this time on 9/25/23. Asked to talk to a supervisor and ended call. The supervisor has not returned my call. 9/25/23 10:30 AM GE, new guy came out. And called GE and unit is non repairable. I should get a call withing 24 to 48 hours. 9/27/23 8:00 AM Called True blue again and their computer system was down, and they are checking on it. And then received an email stating it would take 5 days to review. I still don't have a working refrigerator.
