I receive bi-weekly basic lawn service and am always impressed with how quickly they work and still produce a great job. I live in Spanish Oaks, so our backyard is quite rugged with a steep slope. This doesn't cause any issues for them. I had one issue a few months ago regarding weeds but the customer service department for Top Choice is Top Notch ;) They called me back immediately, apologized, corrected the problem and reimbursed me for the visit. Too Choice continues to be our go to service for our yard. We noticed a leak in our irrigation line and called Top Choice. They had someone out in less than 24 hours to identify where the leak was and get it addressed. The tech cleaned everything up just like it was before digging everything up to address the leak. Terrible company. We have only been working with them for the last few months, but EVERY time they have come they have continuously done a poor job at very simple landscaping maintenance, ie mowing the grass. In addition to that, they leave debris all across the yard. When we've asked them why that is they say it's another charge to clean up after their team. Beware. This company only cares about getting you in as a customer then up charging you on things that are standard with ANY other landscaping company. Would not recommend. read more

After the first few branches fell over night Tuesday I knew this ice storm was going to take out many of my trees. I have relied on Top Choice in the past and gave them a call early Wednesday and left a voicemail. I figured I would here from them after the world defrosted. Nope. 20 minutes later they called and after a brief 3 minutes had me on the list once they could get crews out. Friday morning I got the email they were coming. We had a leak in our sprinkler system. It was a Value Controller. I dug the hole to make sure that the leak was just the Value Controller. The repair person who repaired the leak came within the window specified but did not notify us that he was on his way. We were told he would notify us when he was on his way. This is ok because I did not have any activity going on at the time. The leak was repaired successfully on May 25 and the hole filled in. My only concern was 1 line item on the invoice that I did not understand and thought was excessive. I did have a conversation with the Top Choice Office Representative and we came to an agreement about the cost on that line item on the invoice. I got a live person on the phone the first time I called, I was able to get an appointment in less than 24 hours, and Jacob diagnosed my problem within minutes. He had the parts he needed in his van and repaired a considerably big problem on just over 2 hours. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. My only concern was that they require a credit card on file through their online system before they would schedule an appointment. I purposely did NOT check "Autopay",but my card was charged before I was able to pay myself. I did have an incorrect billing, which would have been twice the cost of the actual work, which was remedied immediately and BEFORE my card was charged. In the future, I would request an estimate prior to the repair and be sure to check the charges immediately for any errors. The work, though, was thorough, fairly priced, and speedy. read more
