That's exactly what we wanted done! Once they were done, we asked if they could cut and install on piece of floor trim....which was done without hesitation and any additional cost. Overall, we were extremely happy with Campos from start to finish, costs, and attention to detail along with providing a better solution without price gouging the client. Shortly after receiving our deposit, representatives from the company made two brief visits to our home. After that, communication abruptly stopped. Phone calls went unanswered, and mail sent to their listed address was returned as undeliverable. We spent well over a year attempting to locate and contact the company regarding our project and deposit. Eventually, with the help of a friend, we discovered the business had moved from its Sumner, WA storefront to a location in Yelm without notifying us as customers. Based on the company's website and branding, we believed they operated as a faith-based or Christian business, which made this experience even more disappointing for our family. We were able to locate a phone number for one of the owners as well as the new business address. Multiple additional messages were left, but again, no response was ever received. A friend in the construction industry assisted us further and uncovered records -- later confirmed with the State of Washington -- showing that between 8/15/2020 and 2/4/2021, the contractor's license was suspended and there was no valid or active bond in place. As a final attempt to resolve the matter, we sent a certified letter, which was returned marked "refused." Additional calls also went unanswered. At this point, we are pursuing legal action to recover our deposit, along with costs associated with certified mailings, time spent attempting to resolve the matter, and legal fees. We provided numerous opportunities for the company to address the situation and make things right, but those efforts were ignored. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend that anyone considering using Kingdom Builders proceed with extreme caution and do thorough research before entering into a contract. Their bid was competitive, (not the lowest and definitely not the highest!), detailed, and they were able to get me on their schedule rather quickly. This was a big painting/staining job; two-story house with a wrap-around porch, tongue and groove ceiling, large deck and detached ADU/Shop. Nick and his crew showed up on time every day and got straight to work, ensuring that everything not getting painted was covered and safe. They worked as a team, methodically prepping and priming the entire project prior to painting and cleaned up the site at the end of the day with absolutely no drama! Nick was easy to communicate with by phone, text or in person, he frequently updated me on weather forecasts, their progress and we were able to color match the original "Obsolete" house paint, deck and ceiling stain colors perfectly. Nearly 4 months to complete, billing errors, and unsatisfactory workmanship - that was my…read moreexperience with New Heights Development, LLC. Initially told the job would take 3-4 weeks. In total, it took 4x longer - 16 weeks. Scheduling was consistently vague, and commitments were unreliable. Extra charges were added to the final invoice for tasks like installing a hood vent and four light fixtures. I was not notified of these additional charges before or during the work, and I only became aware of them upon receiving the final bill. Because this work was completed without prior notice or pricing disclosure, I was not given an opportunity to review the costs or compare prices beforehand. I was charged in full for work that was unsatisfactory, or not completed at all. (See pictures). I was verbally told that I would not be charged full price for certain incomplete work. The final invoice reflected otherwise. Things would be left unfinished for weeks on end. (The old toilet left in the bathroom, shed debris left sitting in the backyard grass). Several items took multiple trips. (Shower surround, door sweep, drywall repair). Some items are still unsatisfactory after multiple attempts. Some of my personal belongings were damaged, for which I received no credit or reimbursement. Contractor noted that they provided work at no charge. Several of those items were either included in the contract or work that was required to repair their work. They added the final payment as a charge to the final invoice. I had to have them correct their billing error. Had I not caught their error - I would have been overcharged. I have not received lien releases, which I requested.

Not only was their price competitive, but they were able to start working right away. They helped with the design process, supported us in shopping and choosing materials, spaced out the job and sent the best crews to systematically get through each part of the process while we lived (and worked) at home. Living through a remodel like this is hard and expensive, and they really made it the best we could've hoped for. Most importantly we LOVE the results and recommend them without hesitation.
