Positives: when he actually did show up, he performed the installation thoroughly and made manual adjustments to all our exterior cameras until we had the desired field of view on each one. He also did a professional job neatly tacking all the camera cabling to the house. Camera system works very well, and he's a pleasant young guy - BUT... Negatives: 1. He no-showed us on the first appt.and it took multiple calls/emails/txts to reach him for a resked date. When he finally returned our call, he said the equipment hadn't arrived yet, but, apparently, didn't feel it was necessary to let us know that we didn't need to wait for him all morning. 2. One of the reasons we picked the system we did was because it came with a smartphone monitoring app that allows the homeowner to see what the cameras are seeing from any remote location with internet connectivity. While we can see what the cameras see when we're IN the house using the app, it does not connect to the DVR anywhere beyond wi-fi range of our house. I called him on FOUR times over the subsequent 6 weeks about this issue, and not only did he NOT return our calls, he did not offer a fix of any kind. The app, as it is, is completely useless to us. 3. Part of the deterrent value of any security system is the signage that lets people know that such a system is in use. He forgot the signs on the install date, and despite multiple attempts to request that he send them to us (as he'd promised to do before he left), he never returned our calls and we've never received any signs. 4. He billed our c/c before the work was completed. Bottom line: We did NOT get what we paid for. Drew is a competent, if unprofessional, technician that, as some other reviewers have commented, is spread too thin to do his work AND run a business. While I would certainly recommend the Alibi camera system to anyone, I would NOT and will not recommend General Pro Security to anyone.

I was in dire need of finding a company who could get me back on track, think messed up TV during the pandemic! Fortunately, I found Gator Tech. and over a period of a year they came out on several occasions to fix the errors (which were many) and streamline the system. I reached out, gave some background as to my problem and was on their schedule for service within a day. My tech onsite Steve was fantastic. He was friendly and polite and just an overall good dude. He quickly identified a few different issues and had my system back up and running after an hour of software updates backend changes to some network configurations. I will certainly use Zettacomm again for any service issues, and also for future design and sales of other AV or home automation features like lighting and shades.

I took a few weeks to look into the big name vendors such as ADT and Bay Area Alarms, as well as DIY smart home security such as Ring and Nest. Compared quotes, talked to all of them, and made a bunch of reference calls. What I learned that matters most - to us at least - is reliability of products/surveillance as well as very personalized service. If I need to reach Geoff, it's because I really need help and/or a security issue - and that's precisely the situation when I don't want to be "just another account number" in a big company, or a DIY where I don't have any personalized help. Geoff/Surveillance Solutions have met all of those requirements and more.
