Three of the ceiling fans installed 6 months ago were making clicking sounds when it was on second and third fan speed. I texted Eden Electric about the issue. I was told they will contact me when they are back in town. A month passed and have not heard back. I decided to have a different licensed electrician to come help troubleshoot the issue on all fans. Found out the electrical on all three fans were not installed using a ceiling box. The electrical was mounted on the ceiling instead. Also there was an existing old box fan installed but was not removed by Eden Electric therefore was installed towards the right. Now the old box was removed and the ceiling box installed, but causing Sheetrock needs patching. I'd recommend requesting quote using Yelp rather than reaching out the service provider directly that way you get protected up to certain amount when a project goes wrong. Unfortunately I did not to so therefore now costing me another $750 (not including sheetrock patching and painting) to get these issues fixed. read more

With my place, we worked out a custom deal for the lights so that i fit my budget. Wherever work was done they went above and beyond to be considerate. For example, they noticed my vanity light's screws were too long so they took it upon themselves to add washers and make it more secure. They weren't even the ones that originally installed the light! At my girlfriend's place, Hormoz's crew was the only one that didn't have to cut holes into the wall to feed wires through narrow spaces. Despite having a very slanted ceiling with little to no crawlspace, their expertise made it work. All other quotes required cutting into the wall (so they could go faster) and nearly 2x the cost. Eden Electric was recommended to us by one of our friends who got recessed lighting work done. To start with the quote, it was one of the most reasonable ones, we had got so far. Hormoz is very responsive to any questions and concerns during the quote phase and always suggested what was best for us without upselling anything. We got smart recessed lights, floodlights, and switches and sockets replaced. Installation was done by Hormoz and his nephew Ben in 3 days, and they are super punctual. If they mention 9am start time, they will be there by 9am. Workmanship is also very neat and thorough. They consulted us on all aspects from the material they were using, if we liked it or if we wanted something different and making sure that we didn't have any questions or concerns. They infact fixed quite a few mess ups done by previous contractors without any charges. Even in the upstairs room, every contractor mentioned that they will need to do 6 to 8 holes for the recessed lights as there's no attic access. However, Hormoz and Ben put 8 lights with just 2 holes. We got all the work done in a fully furnished house and were afraid we will have to spend a lot of time in cleaning post the work. However we were pleasantly surprised that everything post work was as clean as it was before. They made sure to cover all the appliances and furniture. They also made sure to clean every portion as soon as they were done working there. The need was to diagnose and repair an unusual house electrical shutdown that affected certain lights and some outlets on two circuits but not all. Background: Nearly 20 years ago, immediately after we bought our house, we worked with a contractor to completely remodel and restructure the master bathroom, which involved eight fluorescent lights with seemingly non-standard sockets: four in the large shower/bathtub room, three in the vanity, and one in the toilet room. 10 years later, the lights in the shower/bathtub room and vanity gave out, which happened one by one. The electrician we contacted at that time stated that they couldn't replace the fixtures (something about access from the attic), but instead repaired them at what we now realize was at great cost. Fast forward to today. Only one fixture each in the shower/bathtub room and vanity works. Time to do something. I had a spark from my garage door that tripped the fuse from my circuit breaker and could have caused a fire. To make a long story short; I called Eden Electric and set up an appointment with Hormoz. He arrived with his nephew and fixed the garage door opener outlet that had the wires mixed up that caused the spark. Then, they corrected and rewired electrical wires above a light fixture that was a prior work done by a handyman. Since they were already there; I requested that 3 outlets within the home be replaced because plugs were loose when hooked up and Hormoz obliged and promptly replaced them efficiently.
