I called the phone number and was directed to call the "emergency line" if there was a prescription issue, so I did figuring I needed this medication today and I was out (and worried about further lockdowns happening soon from Covid-19, being 3/22/2020). I called and stated some of the information above and was met with the response, "Is this really an emergency?" I tried to explain again that I did not have any more of the medication I have been taking for quite a while and need, and again, was met with the response of questioning whether this was an emergency or not. While I understand there may be more "important" things that this caller would deem an "emergency", I would at least expect an ounce of respect or compassion from somebody who works for a mental health center. I am now having to fully cover the cost of my prescription for 1/3 the amount I would typically get because of how incredibly rude the doctor on the other end of the phone was. Maybe take a job NOT in mental health if you have zero compassion for your patients. I feel bad giving this place such a low review due to one person, since everyone else I've encountered has been lovely. But this was just completely uncalled for and in such a difficult time for those with mental health issues (needing to stay inside all day, social distancing from loved ones, routine changes, fear, uncertainty, etc. etc.), I would expect at least someone who would listen to my needs on the other end of the phone.

I have been a client of Bridgewell in Lowell for years and their services have gone down the drain…read more There is no communication between staff, staff doesn't look at notes in patients file, staff turn around is crazy, their headquarters don't return phone calls, supervisors don't follow up in a timely manner, they lack compassion and understanding, staff not very well trained. They are putting money before clients and their well beings. I would not recommend them for anyone looking for help with a mental illness and I am no longer a client of theirs because of the way that I was treated. UPDATE: 10/20/21: There headquarters did eventually get back to me but unfortunately nothing came out of it. Very disappointing.

They sat down with me and discussed what hypnosis was, what I should expect, and what it would take for me to be successful in retraining my mind for stress reduction. I felt that she genuinely understood me and knew what it takes to get results. The written service guarantee really made the difference for me signing on. I signed on in Jan. 2013 during a particularly stressful period and the results were amazing!
