She is patient, dependable, and very attentive to my grandmother's daily needs, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Fanny helps with home-cooked meals, light tidying and organization, and most importantly, taking my grandmother to doctor's appointments and making sure everything runs smoothly. She communicates clearly in mandarin which has made my grandmother feel comfortable and respected. It's not easy to find someone who is both practical and genuinely caring, and Fanny has been exactly that. We're very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to families looking for reliable part-time elder care. We highly recommend My Asian Nanny!

We have been using this nanny agency for almost 6 months. Having a live-in postpartum nanny help…read moreyou with your baby 18 hours a day sounds like a dream but sometimes can be more stressful than anything else. We have used 3 nannies from this agency so far and I had communication issues with all of them. The nannies are very stubborn and stuck in their own ways. They have a difficult time following direction and instead insist on doing things the way they want to. The first nanny we had was constantly making phone calls on the clock and refused to heat up the milk prior to feeding our baby. The second nanny was better, she helped keep our home tidy, and was good with our baby. She was probably the best nanny we had from this agency. Unfortunately, she injured her back and had to leave our family earlier than planned. Which brings us to our current and final nanny from this agency. She's a little older so she can't help carry the baby in her car seat up the stairs. She's often on her iPhone watching Chinese dramas. She also decided to hang up her dirty underwear and bra on our hallway bathroom towel rack. Additionally, she seems to have a lot of unsolicited advice on how we should dress our baby. She doesn't cook for us or do the baby's laundry. She doesn't even know how to follow directions ie shoves the nipple of the bottle in my bottle averse baby's mouth & ignored me when I told her "no". It doesn't seem that this agency takes the time to really vet out these nannies, instead hiring whomever applies. The agency also takes a while to respond to any text messages which is also incredibly frustrating. I highly recommend spending a little extra coin and using a different agency. Especially if you are a first time parent.

It seemed like I had landed a few dream jobs only for it to slip away from me. Really trying times. Then I met Michelle! This brings a smile to my face. Meeting with her felt like chatting with a friend. I realized after that this is her skill. She loves people and wants to represent both the families and the nannies. It was a slow period and she didn't have any job opportunities at the time when I signed up with her agency, the perfect placement. After being on the hunt for my top nanny job with a kind family for many months and it wasn't happening I was getting ready to move out of state. I mentioned to Michelle that I'm no longer looking for a position as it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Michelle didn't give up on me. She called me with 2 opportunities. I went on both interviews and was called back to do a trial for the one that I wanted !! Yay !! Then Michelle negotiated some time off that I needed to take care of a health issue. The family was so wonderful they waited for me ! All I can say everything lined up perfectly. Michelle will always return your call in a timely manner and she always checks in to see how you're doing. I thank God I met Michelle !

She was confident that she could find someone to meet our unique needs and I was happily surprised. Within days, she had multiple candidates for me to interview and we found the most incredible woman, who has truly been the perfect fit for our family. We could not be happier. Michelle also assisted me in setting up payment services etc for our employee and it was all so seamless and easy. Throughout the process, Michelle was knowledgeable, reassuring and responsive. Looks Can Be Deceiving: The Reality Behind the Polished Facade…read more From the outside, Beach Babies might look like the kind of place you'd feel good about leaving your child, a bright building, a polished brand, the right words in the brochure. We were there with our son for almost 2 years, long enough to see that the reality behind the glass is very different. And it's a reality that parents deserve to know before making what is both an emotional and financial commitment. What struck me immediately was how transactional the entire experience felt. This is a place run like an ATM machine, policies designed to extract, not to support. For the tuition and fees charged here, you would expect a level of care, warmth and professionalism that matches the price tag. Instead, you're met with rigid rules and inflexible policies. There's a mandatory fingerprint scan at the door, followed by a physical signature for entry, with a fine for any missed sign-in. No exceptions, no grace, even credit card companies allow for a margin of error before charging you interest. Here, it's about compliance above connection. And then there's the culture. The staff appeared unhappy, their energy closer to a high school clique than a team of early childhood educators. At the center of it, Laurie, whose leadership style could best be described as authoritarian without empathy. The tone from the top trickles down and you can feel it in the way the staff interact with each other and, unfortunately, with the children. Even the smallest, most human moments felt mechanical. Drop-off and pick-up should be times of warmth and reassurance, a simple "Good morning" or "How was their day?" goes a long way. Instead, it felt perfunctory, like we were interrupting a system that was already on edge. This isn't about expecting over-the-top enthusiasm, it's about basic care and acknowledgment, the kind of thing you can't fake if the work environment is toxic. Parents choose early education centers not just for safety and facilities, but for trust, trust that their child will be seen, cared for and guided with kindness. For the cost, that trust should be a given, not a gamble. Beach Babies might check boxes on paper, but in lived experience, it fails at the one thing that matters most... Creating an environment where children and parents feel genuinely welcome. I'm giving two stars only because there were a few teachers who truly shined and cared for the kids. Not surprisingly, none of them work there anymore, an unfortunate reflection of the environment created by leadership. For families considering Beach Babies, know that what you see in the tour isn't what you'll live day-to-day. If you value warmth, flexibility and authentic care over rigid rules and transactional treatment, I would urge you to look elsewhere. Your child, and your peace of mind, deserve better for the money you'll spend.

The caregivers go out of their way to make sure all the kids are attended to and that the parents' concerns are met. Our daughter is always kicking with excitement once she gets out of the car and sees that we are going to BB. BB goes out of their way to make sure the parents have ease of mind and are up to speed with their kids daily activities. The facility is very safe. They use a biometric scan as well as a password to allow access the location which in today's world is very reassuring. There is also a weekly curriculum that the parents can follow on their app. I have many colleagues who have used or currently use this specific location. It's a great jumping off point for kids going to any of the South Bay school districts and I would highly recommend sending your kids here.

Alannah had a reasonable commission structure. Alannah helped us find some candidates who we were told met our requirements within our salary range, and all went well at the beginning. We hired a new Nanny. Second star for the initial phase of the relationship. Our nanny quit after six months and one week after reneging on both our payment terms and immunization requirements. When we let Alannah know, her response was incredibly dismissive. Her commission had come with a "six month replacement guarantee" and her first response was to remind us that we were now outside of that window. She would help us if we paid her again. She also reminded us that she had indeed screened for our requirements so this was our problem. I let Alannah know this was a ridiculous stance since we had paid to find a nanny based on our requirements and that I was extremely disappointed in this response. She agreed to help us find a new nanny one more time. The new nanny quit after two months during an episode where our toddler was acting out around bedtime. We attempted to coach the nanny in our parenting style and preferred method to help the toddler understand what he did was wrong and how to help prevent these events in the future. It was a new behavior that we hadn't seen before. The nanny did not take kindly to the feedback, despite numerous statements like all Nannys say in their interview process of "we want to learn your parenting style and adapt". We emailed Alannah again to tell her how disappointed we were. No response this time, as can likely he expected. She no longer wants to deal with us. Mediocre recruiter. Mediocre screening services for any hard requirements. Mediocre nanny pool.

She had been with Ms. Patty and her team at BBIC since roughly 5/6 months old. The care she received here truly felt like an extension of how her father and I care for her at home. As a first time mom, I was so nervous to leave my tiny baby with someone outside of the home but after our first meeting with Ms. Patty, my husband and I knew we had found the perfect match. Baby Bubbles specifically offers infant care, so only a small group of babies/children will be enrolled at any given time. The ratio of caregiver to child is often 1:1, with each child receiving lots of love & care tailored to their specific needs. Our daughter had to go through the helmet process (IYKYK!) and everyone at BBIC was more than willing to work with us through the process. Our daughter definitely developed some really special bonds while here and was quite attached to everyone who cares for her at BBIC. She arrived every morning excited to be greeted at the front door, and couldn't wait to jump in with her playmates. She even cried at times when I would arrive to pick her up at the end of the day! By the time she "graduated" at two years old, she had learned all the basic sign language, could sing her ABCs and could even count to 10 in both English, and Spanish! She actually still says "mas" when she wants more lol Her caregivers, and the little friends she made here, were really the only thing she'd known outside of her dad and I so we were truly sad to leave - I cried after we picked her up on the last day! This really is such a special place and you definitely get the sense that you're part of a little family.

Our son felt instantly comfortable with her, and she even coined a nickname for him that has stuck to this day! Through her guidance, support, and newborn care education, she truly helped us get off to the best possible start as new parents, and we're hugely grateful for her. After the first month of working with her, we decided to continue with a series of sleep coaching sessions. When she returned after a couple of months away, it felt like no time had passed -- our son definitely remembered her. Just two weeks in, and our 3-month-old is already sleeping 8 hours. It honestly feels like a miracle. Thank you so much, Veronica -- we truly appreciate your care, your guidance, and the confidence you brought into our home during such an important time. Well, that isn't the case with Alexandra. As I mentioned before, this is probably by far the best nanny agency in Los Angeles, as Alexandra is always giving you 1x1 treatment. Forget about "random" emails or text messages regarding new interviews or feedbacks, without talking to a real person. Forget about unresponsive emails ou phone calls to her. If you try to get a hold of her for any reason, she will reply to you soon as she can. And that's for me, it's amazing, as other agencies in the area, most of the times, have no apparently desire to respond to you. She will help you with anything during the process of signing with the agency, she will be honest about your resume and ask if you willing to "change" for better understanding, she will help you to find a job (like no other agency), during interviews, trials, during the hiring process, and anything in between and after. My example is the perfect one, as I was hired one month ago! While the family was looking for a part time nanny, and tried multiple times to give me an offer on 25 hours a week, Alexandra, spoke to them about their "actual" needs and why not offer me a full time split position now, if that could be a thing for the near future? Well, they did! I'm working for an amazing family and super happy. And Alexandra? She keeps checking on me almost every week to see how things are going. It didn't even took her a month to replace my last position (that I also got through her agency), which nowadays it's crazy. So, If you are looking for a nanny-sitter agency, being parents or a caregiver, don't look further. Call Rainbow Nannies! Thanks so much Alexandra! Knowing I always have you to help me, makes me happy, and my life so much easier!!!
