    Steak

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and had a steak and i think it was a strawberry switchel. Our waiter was friendly and our food was delicious. Steak had good flavor and although I do wish it came with a baked potato, the hand-cut fries were good. Came with a salad as well, the ranch was pretty tasty. The post their daily specials to their Facebook page and most of them sound pretty tasty.

A really nice bar and grill of the beaten path. Definitely feels like a local favorite. The sandwich and fries were better than average. The bartender/waitress was very friendly.

What a nice surprise. I didn't even know this place existed. It's a really cute place. There are dollar bills on the ceiling and I wish I would have asked more questions about it. Per usual, I asked what the server's favorite thing on the menu and she raves about the chicken tenders. Funny since that was what I wanted anyway. I should have probably ordered something a bit lighter before going skating but I digress. The chicken tenders were flattened and definitely marinated as long as my sever said it was. It was so good that I devoured the entire dish even though I wasn't that hungry. I typically have more self control but I lost all that eating the chicken tenders. Would definitely recommend.

Fish and chips. Batter is excellent. Awesome tarter.

My wife and I along with our adult daughter and her boyfriend had dinner here on a summer Sunday evening. It was pretty good! He had a hamburger, she had fish and chips and we split a cob salad. Pros; Great food! The salad was fresh. The batter on the fish and chips was awesome. They had the best thousand island and tarter sauce I've ever had. Wow. It was great. It is in a nice location right next to our favorite bike path. So you can blend in some exercise. The beer selection was awesome. Cons: Cash only. Really? In today's world of e money? They had an atm. $2 fee. Stupid stupid. There was only one young waitress. She messed up our order. But she rectified it on our bill. Good save. They had a live band playing outside which was loud and bad. Summary: good place for great food at a nice location. If they could hire a bit more help and allow cards this would be a destination place.

What a great breakfast! Melinda's favorite is now my new favorite. Crispy hash browns topped with caramelized onion, bacon, dubliner cheese topped with delicious hollandaise sauce and Two eggs made your way. Honestly it's a huge serving I usually take half home for breakfast the next day. It warms over well. Thanks Melinda!

In other words, it's just my thing. I don't need a bar to have a food menu. I don't need it to take credit cards. I don't need it to have TVs lining the walls or be blasting the latest dance music. I do need it to be a place where I can nurse a few drinks and be with myself (or my friends) without such distractions, and the Crypt fits that bill perfectly. BTW, if you need to have the aforementioned things, there are a dozen other places for you to go near downtown. If you want to be more social, or party with a bigger group, they have a patio. It's actually really nice out there during the summer, hanging out with the other weirdos. It's a shame we can't have clove cigarettes anymore. If you know, you know. They usually have some awesome events going on most nights of the week, too, with a little something for everyone. On the bar side, the drinks are excellent (try the Rose Rickey) and the staff has always been friendly. The seasonal cocktails can be pricey, but they're damn good, and you're worth the treat. To my surprise, the place was packed with customers on a Sunday afternoon. I expected a slower pace, but it was anything but. The atmosphere was lively, with people playing pool and enjoying themselves. One of the unique features of this pub is a table game that many of you may not be familiar with. It's called Table Shuffleboard, and it's one of my favorites. I've played it a few times in Alaska, and it's a great game. To play, you simply request the pucks from the servers, and it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. We ordered a couple of beers, which were fairly decent. I had the Irish Death, and my friend opted for some of the commercialized beers like Blue Moon. They also ordered some wings, which they said were very good. They recommended that if you want extra crispy wings, you should have them fried hard. The sweet potato fries were cold, but the bartender was quick to take care of that. She brought us a fresh batch in a matter of minutes. The customer service was excellent throughout our visit. I'm giving this pub a three out of five stars. I'd like to come back and try some of the food, especially in the game day environment. I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't eat much of the food we had, but I'll definitely come back and try it again. I'll also come at night to see how it is before I consider upgrading the rating. Overall, I'll be returning to this pub for a second experience.
