Food was very good. I wish I could say the same about the service. It took way too long for someone to notice we sat at a table, then again too long to get menus, and again way too darn long to take our order. We should have walked out and eaten at another place, but I was hungry and determined to get fed here. I was so tempted to call in an order and tell them what table to serve. My parents go to this restaurant every Saturday for their after gym date. They took me and my husband there when we were visiting a few weeks ago and we got a look into why they go here consistently. The manager /server is the absolute best and so friendly while making sure you are taken care of. The food is fantastic as well. We left full and satisfied with our choices. We even got a nice apple mimosa which was delightful. I am sad to see the owners are selling it and really hope that not so much changes when others buy it. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and had a steak and i think it was a strawberry switchel. Our waiter was friendly and our food was delicious. Steak had good flavor and although I do wish it came with a baked potato, the hand-cut fries were good. Came with a salad as well, the ranch was pretty tasty. What a nice surprise. I didn't even know this place existed. It's a really cute place. There are dollar bills on the ceiling and I wish I would have asked more questions about it. Per usual, I asked what the server's favorite thing on the menu and she raves about the chicken tenders. Funny since that was what I wanted anyway. I should have probably ordered something a bit lighter before going skating but I digress. The chicken tenders were flattened and definitely marinated as long as my sever said it was. It was so good that I devoured the entire dish even though I wasn't that hungry. I typically have more self control but I lost all that eating the chicken tenders. Been here a handful of times, I've ordered their impossible burger and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were just ok, have a small amount of beers on tap, space feels a little cramped with outdoor seating that opens it up a bit. The food was ok... The service would get less than one star if there was an option. 25 minute wait to get a coffee and another 45 minutes for a breakfast after ordering! A table of 7 with 2 getting their food while the rest of us waited another 10-15 minutes to get ours! Additionally, had to get up to ask for a refill of coffee and they screwed up two of the orders! No apology from the manager... I posted on their FB page and now have been blocked and my comment deleted! The post was very similar to this one! But I must have hurt their feelings... They need to learn quick or this place will be closed up! Great customer relations and marketing! My wife and I along with our adult daughter and her boyfriend had dinner here on a summer Sunday evening. It was pretty good! He had a hamburger, she had fish and chips and we split a cob salad. Pros; Great food! The salad was fresh. The batter on the fish and chips was awesome. They had the best thousand island and tarter sauce I've ever had. Wow. It was great. It is in a nice location right next to our favorite bike path. So you can blend in some exercise. The beer selection was awesome. Cons: Cash only. Really? In today's world of e money? They had an atm. $2 fee. Stupid stupid. There was only one young waitress. She messed up our order. But she rectified it on our bill. Good save. The service was absolutely terrible 1/3/2025. I entered and was not addressed for 10 minutes. Other customers came in after me and were greeted and served beverages before I was asked if I'd like a beverage. There was only one other table of 1 in the facility at the time of my arrival. I ordered an egg white omelet. The waitress came back and said they didn't have egg whites. I asked if the omelets were made with real eggs and she said yes but if I wanted only egg whites, the chef said he'd have to use more eggs than usual. She asked me if I was okay being charged $4 or $5 more dollars and I said "yes! Because it's my birthday!" The food was delicious. But she never once came back to check on whether everything was good. She brought our check before we were done ordering beverages and without asking us if we'd like anything else. Upon review of the check, she charged $6 for the egg whites instead of the "4 or 5" she offered. When confronted, she was not apologetic, was clearly irritated and said she'd remove the charge. She removed $1. Pathetic. She refused to look at us (Table of two) and never came back to pick up the dishes or check or anything. My friend paid for my birthday breakfast and chose to tip her, but she didn't deserve a penny. She did LESS than the bare minimum: she ensured the loss of customers. Absolutely terrible service. This is a local restaurant for me and I will not ever be going back. The last time I was there 1/1/2024 we had awful service too. I knew better than to go back on my birthday of all days. read more

I ordered eggs benedict and instead of getting poached eggs, I received well done eggs and the hollandaise sauce was bright yellow but zero taste. Hash browns were good. Cozy, fun and relaxing neighborhood Eatery. Offers Bingo on Taco Tuesday. It's a small venue so if you're there on a Tuesday it can be fun to join in. The parking lot often looks deceiving; it will look full leaving one to think that it's crowded inside but more often than not there are plenty of tables and seating available! You see, there is a large covered patio area in the back of the building. (We think it's the "Smoking Section" of place.) Occasionally there is a live Band, which can be fun yet definitely loud. In such a small place there's just no getting away from it. However, the din of noise generated by the enthusiastic customers will not allow any easy conversations with your table mates either, even if they are sitting right next to you. (It's a happy place!) The food is good enough. Wednesday night is normally "Steak Night" (with baked potato). The steaks are delicious and as good as any than most I have had. I especially like their corn salsa, the appetizer Chicken Quesadilla (which I often order for the main course), the chef salad, and the fish and chips! The Staff are nice and personable. The Pub is close by and used often by us when we don't want to cook (or we have a hankering for any of the other's I've mention...bahaha). CHEERS! read more

New ownership decreased the food quality so much. It's now just a microwave dinner. Pretty sure everything is shipped in frozen and they just warm it up in the microwave for you. Everything is tiny portions, anything breaded is nothing but breading, and I ordered a sandwich which literally had visible mold on the bread that I didn't see until after I took a bite. New owner, obviously trying to make as much money as he can out of this by sacrificing quality of food, as well as leaving only one server for a full restaurant full of people- took us over 45 minutes to get our food and that's after waiting 25 minutes to be greeted by a server. Hope they learn to invest in their business rather than run it into the ground as a cash cow. read more

Really disappointed, after reading the reviews we were looking forward to a pleasant experience. The waitress/bartender/greeter and only staff member other than the cook was as distant as one could get. We ordered a couple of beers and 2 patty melts. Asking if we could get them on the rare side the answer was no, he does them the way he wants to. Anyway when they arrived the bread was burned the meat was way over cooked the sandwich was very dry and the fries were a very dark brown also burned. The time was at 3:00 pm on a Sunday and we were the only ones in the restaurant who had a food order in at that time. We will not be going back, worst lunch we have ever had. read more

Being new to the neighborhood we were so excited to find a place we could go for local food and drink. First visit we loved the food and enjoyed the servers. (Feb.) We took lots of our friend when they came to visit, a month later every time we visited some difficulty was brewing. No cook, one server, run out of draft beer etc. we thought it was just a transition thing the next three visits we sat for more then 30 minutes to order a beer, people ordered and served that arrived 10 minutes after us. Okay we still thought it can be a mistake. Our last visit we ended up walking out after sitting for 20 minutes.
