Once he secured my business, his involvement dropped off substantially. He appeared more focused on pursuing new customers, leaving my project poorly managed and completed with work that did not match what was agreed upon. When I asked for direct updates, the response felt defensive and conversations often came across as condescending rather than collaborative. Even while the project was delayed, he attempted to sell me additional services in a way that felt pushy and unprofessional. Even after formal remedies were initiated, there were still opportunities to resolve this matter directly. Full materials were ever delivered to our home, and the patio cover was never completed. We paid a significant upfront amount for materials and the initial demo and cement work for a patio in July 2025. The demo and cement were completed, but the materials we paid for were never delivered and the patio was left unfinished. After taking our payment for materials, the owner failed to provide them. SD Paverscapes was one of three paver contractors we contacted. Luis was quick to respond and listened to our ideas. He provided us with a plan we loved and a price we could handle. The installation crew was absolutely first rate. It was a pleasure to watch craftsmen apply their skills! The result is fabulous! Honestly, it turned out better than we had imagined! When they replaced the fence (between us and our neighbor), they did not put the fence back in its original position, leaving a gap on the ground on our side of the fence which is very ugly. Also they undid/pulled out part of our turf (which they said went over the neighbor's side) - they did not ask for permission or talk to us ahead of time before they did this and changed our hardscape design. They just pulled it out and cut part of it. When they put the turf back, it was so uneven and poorly placed back, like they do not know what they were doing. It was now bumpy and not of the same height as the other side (it was slightly curved downward prior) now it is more flat. We notified our neighbors about this but nothing was done to fix it. This company is very unprofessional and would not recommend.
