We decided to go to the boat show and take the free water taxi service from Bayside/ Bayfront park. We thought we would be going on a regular boat or something similar to a pontoon boat but nope, we saw this beautiful ship and were ready for the ride. They checked us and our bags and we were ready to board. There were 3 floors available with the third floor being the most popular as it had the deck to sit outside. We knew since we were one of the last that it would be packed already but the views were always available. Upon entering the ship we notice the nice wood details and carpeting. The first and second level all had nice seating areas with seats and couches along with a TV. The ship is also known as a wedding or event location. Up to the third floor there was a beautiful bar, more ocean views, bathrooms, and tacos available for purchase. Outside on the deck was patio furniture so you didn't have to stand but seating becomes occupied quickly. The ride was smooth and enjoyable and the views of Miami were great. It was the perfect way to get to and fromt the boat show! read more

Took a 7-midnight 'cruise' for my birthday. Ship left late and returned early. Once underway the engine blew and we sat for several hours about 3 miles from the departure pier. At no point was there any update of way we weren't moving. We then returned tontbe pier early only to be rushed off the ship so they could load for the next 'cruise'. I feel cheated because I could have walked to where we went. read more

Total disappointment! I attended a 4th of July Extravaganza. The ship departed late because there was no captain. The food was absolutely disgusting the chicken was old, cold and rubbery. The drinks were watered down. The staff did not speak English and were rude and overwhelmed. We did not cruise into Miami as promised we went in a circle for about 3 miles from the original start point and sat there for about 2 hours to watch the fireworks from a distance. South Beach Lady gets one star from me. Here we go. Let's start with the fact that their 4th of July event specifically stated that the parking was free. NOPE. It was $40 on top of the $115 per person. Then they said you boarded at 6. NOPE. Try 6:30. We were all out in the hot FL sun melting when they finally let us on. Then, you proceed up 3 decks. First deck is a lobby deck. They said pictures would be taken. NOPE! Then the 2nd deck which is where the food was. The lady serving said there would be food served throughout the evening until 10:30.....NOPE. They ran out of food in the first hour after they started serving. What was the good you may inquire? Rubbery/chewy chicken wings, frozen meatballs cooked some tangy sauce (those weren't bad but not great) and a creamy pasta salad with two types of paste and one mushroom. Thank goodness we got down there to eat as they literally ran out of food while we were in line. Lenny Green and John Saxton were there but they also promised Big Russ...NOPE. Then we were told the ship would sale at 7 and we would get 4 hours on the water..NOPE!! we sailed at 8pm and came back at 11pm so we got shorted an hour. We were supposed to be right under the fireworks. NOPE!! We did catch some fireworks but we were so far we didn't even hear the "pop" when they went off. Last but not least, we had prime real estate outside on the bout but there were no speakers so we couldn't hear any music. John finally came out and brought. Speaker out ad the night was ending. Luckily, we had some fun with the folks that we were with- we are the make lemons out of lemonade folks-but this was a huge disappointment and waste of money. I wouldn't recommend and I won't be going again- also, there's no refunds so I'm also our the extra $40 for parking since they said that their "event promoter" made the free parking claim, not them. Pros: Fireworks were quite good, lasting 20 minutes. And the food they served, chicken, macaroni and cheese, corn bread, boiled 1/2 ear of corn, Gail actually liked and was tasty. Cons: 1. Traffic...Worse I have ever seen in my life. The police put up thousands of traffic cones, which turned Hollywood Blvd, A1A and Sheridan St. into one way streets going East, North and West respectively. The lanes going the other direction were blocked and remained clear of traffic until 3 AM when the streets were restored back to normal. The boat dock is located across from Margaritaville and because of all the confusing traffic cones and closed southbound lanes, I missed the turnoff causing me to have to go all the way around again... North on A1A, west on Sheridan, South on US 1 and East on Hollywood Blvd and north on A1A to Margaritaville. Average speed on my cars odometer was clocked at 5 MPH. Normally it takes 20 minutes to get from my house to Margaritaville, a 9 mile trip. Last night it took an hour and 15 minutes to get there. Luckily we managed to arrive at 6:45 PM, 15 min. late. It was then I discovered that parking was $50. Many guests had arrived an hour or so earlier, and they had to pay $80. 2. When we got on the boat, we discovered the A/C wasn't working and it was sweltering inside. The stairs were steep but they had a small elevator. It was for the galley. Because the kitchen was constantly using it to deliver food from the first level to the second level, Gail had to wait 30 minutes before they would take her up. The buffet on level 2 was nice but with no A/C it was uninhabitable. So Gail got off at the elevator at the 3rd level which had some functioning A/C in one section. So I got in the buffet line, loaded up a plate for Gail and took it to Gail on the third level. Most other guests did the same and there were not enough chairs on the third level, so Gail had to stand, eating her meal by the bar. I was far too tensed up to eat anything the whole night. 3. The music was deafening at level 3 where the huge speakers were placed (77-80dB according to my sound meter). I checked the top level, open to the sky on level 4 where there was a breeze. But the music was even louder and I knew Gail couldn't take it so we stayed on the 3rd level. Luckily we found an section of the third level that was open to the sky and much less music noise. And some little kid gave up his seat for Gail. I had to stand nearly the whole night because of inadequate seating brought on by too many people trying to escape the music. There were no chairs on the top level either. I guess it was for dancing although nobody danced. 4. OK. Where we are we going? When you are on a boat it is always nice to know your destination don't you agree? The advertisement said we were going to sail to Miami and watch the fabulous fireworks at Bayside. That is a 20 mile voyage. It seemed too far to me due to the time constraints and I had called 2 people from the company some days before and they confirmed the Bayside destination. We never went to Bayside. We took a ride, going 3-4 MPH north up the inter coastal, turned around back south after a quarter mile journey and parked across from the dock where we got on the boat. The fireworks show was due East of my car in the parking lot, shot just a block north of Margaritaville. That was our fabulous boat trip. There was no reason to even use the boat to see the show. We could have parked in the public garage, took a couple of fold up chairs and watched the show from the beach, which would have been closer and more dramatic. All the other guests felt ripped off because they all thought we were going to Bayside. 5. At 10 PM we arrived back at the dock and we headed home. We told the staff Gail needed to use the elevator to go down but no one knew where the key to the elevator was. So Gail used the steps, going down very slowly with her cane and annoying the stampede of guests behind us. We had to go once again north to Sheridan because of the one way traffic and we arrived home at 11:15 PM. I made myself a hot dog and went to bed with the neighbors shooting stuff off until 12:45 AM. read more

On July 4th, 2022, I attended an event on the South Beach Lady. I was extremely disappointed with the service and food from the company. First off, we were supposed to leave the shore at 7:00pm but the captain didn't arrive until 7:40 so we left late due to this, but by 10:40 pm they were docking the boat not supplementing our time for him running late which was completely unfair. The food was horrible and had no taste whatsoever. The 1st floor of the yacht was hot as a sauna. The host and promoter of the event were great and tried their best to make everyone comfortable but unfortunately it was too many issues. I would never attend an event on this yacht. read more

What a horrible experience. I went on this boat for New Years Eve 2019, I paid $571 for two. They advertise it as premium drinks and till 2 am. The boat had 350 guest and only had two bars so it was mission to get a drink. One bar was on the 3rd deck and the other one on the 4th deck. Like around 11 pm the bar on the 3rd deck ran out of black label. They also closed both bars at 1 am and at 1:30 the boat had docked and everybody had to leave the boat. What disappointment adventure after the amount of money they charged. I am never going back on this boat nor would I recommend to anyone. We are disputing this transaction and hopefully we will get our money back. I call this false advertising. read more

We were in a New Years Eve boat party organized by Miami Nightlife in 2019. It was terribly organized, with some unpolite crewmembers that were rude against us and other guests. The food was barely ok, although they were rationing the portions in a badly manner. The music was awful since they played music from years ago. Also, the drinks were very difficult to get because there weren't enough bartenders to attend the guests. It was overbooked, too many people for only 6 bathrooms... I would never repeat it and would never advise to ever attend to parties organized by this team. read more

I spent New Year Eve on the yatch for their special cruise which included music, open bar, food and fireworks. I am a party person and wanted something different where I could see fireworks, dance all night, and be surrounded by water.. I had it all! It was a magical night. The dj played modern and classic music, he took request la from everyone, the food was simple but tasty. Well organized. You felt welcomed from the moment you were boarding. The boat itself is gorgeous and nicely decorated. They were playing Avatar on the screen as some people had kids and they actually enjoyed it. The view from the deck was memorable. I did not get sea sick, I danced for 4 hours while watching Miami bay, feeling the breeze and watch fireworks. It was one of the best bye I had. The staff was attentive without being intrusive. Helped a couple of drunk passengers be safe as well. It was excellent. read more

This was misleading in the description!! Buffet food was only one time to get food, macaroni was cold an not even melted last of the pan nothing fresh! An the portions were so small! The music was terrible so old! It was nasty hot on the boat everyone was sweating so uncomfortable for how much we paid per person! Our wedding reception had the WOW affect! Months after celebrating our wedding at South Beach Lady, our friends and family are still talking about it. Here is our feedback about our amazing experience with South Beach Lady. It's a bit lengthy but, as the bride who had many things to worry about for the wedding, I want people to have an idea how awesome are their services that I didn't have to stress/worry about anything for the reception. It was very difficult for us to plan a wedding reception from out of state. We researched different venues in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Keys. Some on them were very expensive, very limited in options, a logistics nightmare or it was too complicated to arrange the catering, decorations and music separately. Thus, we decided to have an all-inclusive reception that will meet our budget. At the same time we wanted something different from the common wedding hall in a hotel or banquet facility. So we looked into having our reception in a yacht. After talking to several yacht companies and getting many quotes, we found South Beach Lady which BTW has an elevator! That was huge for us because one of our family members is in a wheelchair. South Beach Lady has the best event manager, Maribel Rosario. She is so amazing and easy to work with. Maribel gave us different options that will meet our wedding budget. She coordinated with the Chef to make a few modifications to the menu to meet our needs. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was all inclusive, the food, decorations, and the DJ for a reasonable wedding budget. The DJ was also awesome because he was very familiar with the yacht and the flow for the party. Everyone had so much fun with the music diversity he provided. We didn't have to worry about anything because Maribel and the South Beach Lady crew were so accommodating to our vision of our wedding reception. For example, Lulu is a genius in transforming the yacht to the most beautiful reception place with flowers, lights and she even went an extra mile to incorporate our own unique table decorations and seating names. South Beach Lady has definitely the best crew you can possibly ask for your wedding reception. All of our guests were so happy with the treatment they received by all the crew members. They were very courteous, friendly, and always smiling. We only needed to meet with Maribel once before the wedding to run through the final details. She took care of everything and was always on top of all the details. We didn't have to worry about anything. Our reception was perfect! The yacht was so beautiful, the food was so delicious and the service was out of this world. Everything went so well without any issues. We and all of our guests enjoyed it so much that we wished it lasted five more hours. This is how amazing the South Beach Lady crew was: at the end of our reception, it rained so hard that we couldn't leave the yacht for over thirty minutes. The crew was so accommodating that let us wait inside the yacht until the rain calmed down. They were truly amazing! Because of this great experience, our families are already considering having a family reunion party in South Beach Lady sometime in the near future because they're really awesome! If you are looking for an amazing place to have an unforgettable wedding reception or other types of events, make sure you consider South Beach Lady. Had a Roaring 20s party for my birthday and it was everything I wanted and the staff did not disappoint. They listened to all my desires and surely pulled out all the stops to make sure I was happy. The staff was phenomenal, (Lulu is the best) they provided excellent service, the food was great and the bar served great drinks. I never took the cruise, just had a bad experience with the customer service or lack thereof. I tried to book the cruise with a prepaid card I use when making online purchases in order to prevent fraud. Long story short the website said my payment was declined, but my account said otherwise. The charge was left pending on my account. I tried spoke to the owner to request she sign a statement of release in order to allow the $200 to be released back to my card she said she would "add it to her list". I tried to follow up the following week, but she never returned my call. It sucks that people could acknowledge there is an issue, but refuse to do anything about it. I will say that I was able to book a better day cruise for my mom and I and I did not allow this lack of compassion ruin my vacation. The ironic thing about this situation is that the owner had just gotten off her vacation and I know she would have been upset if she was unable to access any portion of her money. Not to mention nowhere on the site does it say you must use a "regular" credit card because I have several. But you live and you learn. read more
