I just assumed it was done to order and got doubly excited for some smoky grilled oysters I was fixin' to have. I got inside and placed my order and waited for them to hit the table. During that time I didn't see any oysters come from the building and go to the grill. When my oysters came to the table, Manuel came from the kitchen where he and a lady had spent most the time while I was there. The oysters looked exactly how the pictures looked and were piping hot. I waved my hand over the oysters towards my nose......no smoke smell. I leaned away, very surprised on why I couldn't smell smokiness. I picked up my fork and bit into an oyster. I tasted no char or smoke of any kind. My oyster had been broiled. So, I had to call Manuel and ask how the oysters were prepare. He told me that the oysters take 18 mins. to prepare and sometimes the wait when there is a lot of people, causes a long wait time. I was the only person in the restaurant, until I got up to pay. He implied that sometimes to avoid a wait, another preparation style is used with the grill in the "back" and this was the technique that was used to make my order. I only observed smoke and wood smell from the front grill that was closest to the front door of the restaurant. Also, he said that oysters are prepared one of three ways....pan fried, fried, or grilled. My oysters weren't prepared any of the three ways he mentioned. All this said to me while it sounded like he was gathering his thoughts and mumbling his words. I must've come on a bad day, Manuel did mention how business had been bad for him.

We have been enjoying ekone oysters for over 20 years now on or our trips to the Long Beach…read morePeninsula. I finally decided to stop in this weekend to visit the factory; I bought one pint of extra small oysters and the gal told me I would have to wait until after the workers finished their break; not knowing why I agreed and waited - after all my assumption was theyd pull out some prepackaged pint of oysters. Imagine my delight when i saw that they were sorting fresh oysters and had one pint just for me and the worker brought it up to the window freshly signed and dated!! The oysters are always the best; they're fresh they're sorted correctly (oyster lovers will understand this) I can't imagine recommending any other oysters to my friends, but this particular pint THE BEST EVER!!! Keep up the great work! Prices were extremely good here! AT&T cellular coverage here is non-existent (only important if youre trying to check in here)

After trying them out, I decided I like the regular smoked and habanero smoked best. I love the fact that there are little bits in the cans with the whole oysters. They are my favorite part. I order more than 12 to get free shipping, and the last time I ordered 30 cans and gave 10 to my dad who also loves oysters. I like the way they use local Washington newspapers to stuff the shipping box. I really really love these oysters! Please keep doing what you do! I would attach a picture, but all you would see is my last can which is empty. I just ordered more and thought I would pop over and do a review while it was on my mind.

It's too bad this place only had 1 review and it was 1 star. I came here while camping and they…read morewere about to close. I didn't get a chance to take photos as I was in a rush. They had a dozen oysters for $5.50! I don't know if that price can be beat. 5 dozen for $25. They also had oysters already shelled in plastic tubs and ready to go and I think a quart was $25. They sell corn meal fry mix too! So you can fry your own. I wasn't sure how to make them yet so I passed (this time). They also sold Smoked Oysters which I bought but they actually came from Ekone Oysters down the road. I don't have any point of reference to compare them to but I thought they were good. They might only be a 3 star place but I'm giving them 4 because I have never bought a dozen oysters for $5.50. We BBQ'd the oysters and a few of them didn't open. Not sure if that is normal or if our BBQ wasn't hot enough. Or maybe that's why they are $5.50. But next time I will buy the ones already shelled.

This place is a real gem, they sell seafood to all the people that live in this lovely little seaside (bay side) village, so the prices are super-low, not tourist prices. I bring my grandson (and others) on these trips, and the treatment we received was stellar, and that goes a long ways for me as I am trying to instill the same values in him that I observed from the wonderful, caring lady that waited on us. On each of our outings I try to drive home at least one message, and this was it: Treat others as we were treated at Seasonal Seafoods in Bay Center. Sure, they have the best prices in Southwest Washington, and we will drive the couple miles off the highway to buy everything we can. And we rearrange our schedule to get there when they are open. While the world seems so troubled, we can escape for a few days to Willapa Bay, buy entirely too much stuff from Seasonal Seafoods, and share it with our friends. This is a high quality merchant that deserves our support, buy from them often, and buy enough to give to your friends. Buy Local, and support hard working farmers and economies in these rural areas. And when you come here, you will have a story to tell, and that's what makes you interesting, your stories. And please write a review for them, but remember, it is not about how Starbucks made a smiley face in your espresso and sold you a $30 coffee cup, but rather how these people work hard every day to bring us the highest quality food and truly care about what they do, and their customers as well. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
