Thankfully the staff at the bar were pretty nice and helpful (even though the fridge had no power and all the food was warm/melted). Don't worry they still sold us the food and drinks out of that fridge. No idea how long it was off for. Having to take the ball out of sand traps during peak season should automatically drop the rate below $50. The course used to be in great shape, and now we pay more for a terrible golf experience. Maybe I'm missing something and only members get to see where this money is going, but I don't see any reason to play this course anymore at the rate it's currently at.

There was a Bluetooth speaker on board which allowed up to all take turns playing our own music too. Overall, the ride lasted a little over 2 hours and it was smooth along the water. A few views that made the outing a memorable one were: downtown's skyline, the flats, and an opening of the lake. Typically the boat will seat about 10 people and we had just a few less. Regardless, it was not an issue as they were extremely accommodating. There is a small convenient store next to the boarding location if you forgot to purchase any beverages before the adventure.

River Rally Experience: River Rally is organized by the Canalway Partners on annual basis as a festival designed to celebrate our river resources. Holiday Boat Charters ride is one of the highlighted events. The experience is complimentary and around 45 minutes. Boating requires signature of the waiver, wait in short line, and boarding all day long boat rides. The boat boards at Hart Crane Memorial Park and floats down the Cuyahoga River. There is just the right amount of introduction to the experience and some overview of sights by the captain. The staff is very supportive as you get in and out of the boat. Boat Amenities: This is a medium sized boat with seating (wooden benches and couch-like benches). The seating is located at both sides of the boat and the front allowing you to experience all river views. The boat has a full stocked bar. I really enjoyed my experience on the Holiday Boat Charters. The sights of the city from the Holiday boat are unmatched. You must make it part of your summer! I look forward to next year's River Rally and looking into booking a private experience.

That being said here's my take on some of the issues and why I'm giving it 2 Stars. One lift ticket prices are not representative of value. It's around $40 for a lift ticket where the chair lifts that once had safety bars on them have been removed for some unexplainable reason. That nearly all of the lifts or slowed down to a snail's pace. I can appreciate that it's a small ski area but a fast lift might increase the enjoyability of a small hill. Two we just went through a pretty disastrous warm spell which took away most of the base of this area however if given the opportunity they should be running this snowmakers at all times regardless if customers are there or not. Ohio weather is finicky and you should make snow while you have the opportunity to. For the amount of cold days and nights that we've had there was way too much Brown here. Three. The entire place is run by high schoolers. The kitchen area had for employees that were to prepare food for the school lunches styleline and the three males were busy flirting with the one female who is there. Me while it's 11:30 and there's no hot food on the line for the 13 people of mine who wanted to eat. There was no management no oversight nobody help them ramp for an impending lunch hour. Granted comparing this to the Alpine Valley of my youth where they were authority figures and managers everywhere helping the keep skiers in line and the business running smoothly. That coupled with it no longer opens in the morning and closes late at night they have very limited hours of operation. While I realize and appreciate that this is a seasonal business and they must make money while they can, it seems like there are many sailors and no Captain.
