Stopped here to let the kids run wild for a bit. It's a decent park with 2 playgrounds: one for younger kids and one for older kids. Unfortunately, the younger kids were on the older kids playground while they were running around playing tag and there were numerous close calls. The playgrounds each have the rubberized solid flooring which is nice. The playgrounds also have a covering over them providing sign protection. There are numerous covered picnic tables as well which was nice when it started sprinkling. The added bonus to this park is that there were restrooms!!! All in all, a nice little park!

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 27/100: Not a park I visit often, but when I do, I remember how much I'm missing out. This place, though not huge, has a lot to offer. Tow huge Playgrounds for the kiddos, a well maintained basketball court, tennis court, walking trails and even a community center where activities are held and exercise sessions are provided for members of the community. Fun and exercising for the while family since they even have exercising activities for the kiddos and senior citizens. Definitely worth checking out!!

It is so beautiful here, a sanctuary in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown Orlando. I walked around the lake, people watching, enjoying the foliage, the trees, the wildlife, so serene and tranquil. If I lived downtown, I would be here every day. I highly recommend taking a trip here and getting away from the city for a few minutes- you will be glad you did.

At night it is nicely lit with many colors and I believe every hour they have a music and fountain show. There is an amphitheatre, and there were musicians playing for the event. There are a lot of ducks and swans, which can dirty the place because of the feathers and poop. You used to be allowed to feed them food from a small stand, but due to health concerns, it's now banned. There is a playground, but it's for kids only. There are 2 bathrooms area, but it can get dirty occasionally. There are a couple restaurants to enjoy near the park too. A nice park to have a nice walk, job, and exercise. Overall: B

As the name implies, this park is at its peak during azalea season, but don't be discouraged if these colorful blooms are till hidden- there is so much more to discover in this park. Take a walk along the path that meanders under the bridges and around the creek. You'll find tons of special spots where you'll want to pause, take a picture, and enjoy a moment of peace (just thinking about it is putting me in a zen mood!). The park also has a nice stage area which is small, but can be used as a wedding location (I've been a bridesmaid here!). I wouldn't recommend going to the park at night, as it doesn't have lights and can get a bit creepy, but during the day make sure to get your pup on a leash, pack a light lunch, and get ready for the best picnic ever!
