    Brisket cheesesteak

So I have been here a couple of time and it's pretty cool of a place. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's right across from the Chamblee Town Hall... So you can't miss it. This place is still in development as a whole but the smokehouse part in the building is perfectly fine and intact. You may not know it's there but once you walk through, you will see it. Coming in to the area you have free parking. It may not be right next door but there are plenty of parking areas that don't have to worry about paying so that is not a concern. There's a lot of outdoor seating, so you can walk out in and eat and drink or even if you want to go across the street as well. There are a few walkable areas that you can go to, so it'll be nice for a great evening out to grab some beers. Be outside. The service has been good every time I've went. Everybody it's been really cool they they talk very highly about the menu and the food and give you the suggestions on. You may want to try. You can sit out and have a seat in. They'll bring the food to you or you come get it, and they're really chatty and friendly during this process. Brisket cheesesteak - I initially went for brisket but is good. I wanted to give it a try so I tried the brisket cheese steak which is basically like a Philly cheesesteak. It has all the melted cheese and it has the hoagie roll and it has the peppers and onions on it, it's really good actually. It's so much that you can barely close the sandwich but that's not a bad problem to have LOL. They have a couple of different sauces you can try, but you probably won't need the sauces because it's already decently flavorful. And there's so much of it that you won't need anything else really. Probably after you finish eating it. Tater tots - they were tater tots LOL. Nothing more Collard greens - the collard greens didn't really have a lot of flavor to them. This was a bit much to be desired. They had meaning them so you know that they smoke meat and put it in the greens but they didn't have any flavor to them. So I probably would not get these again. Overall, this is a really good spot if you want to duck off a little bit and have a beer and some patio time. This area is still building so they're going to be a lot more things there so just keep that in mind but right now, this is probably the main event aside from the beer bar, to go to for this establishment.

Yummy BBQ here! I've been here around 3 times so I think that's good enough to give a final verdict. I've tried the sliced chicken BBQ sandwich and it is GOOD. The sweet & spicy sauce is even better. Do yourself a favor and add coleslaw to the sandwich. I love the tater tots, but the potato salad side wasn't my favorite. I brought two colleagues here and they tried the brisket and pork sandwiches and they both said this was some of the best BBQ that they'd ever had! Wow! Since this place is inside the "food hall", you order at the counter and then have a seat wherever you'd like and then they text you. I like the ambiance of the tap market and it's a great place to grab lunch with colleagues and then have a coffee afterwards! The only thing that I don't like is the parking, we ended up parking behind Chamblee City Hall which isn't bad, but just not as convenient. Needless to say, I'll be back.

Yes!!! Love South End. I am huge bbq fan and am so glad I discovered them. We visited the Chamblee Market and found out South End had their smokehouse inside. It's difficult to find great bbq these days because everyone thinks they have mastered it. I will say South End has... (in my opinion). We've been multiple times. We typically get the platter so we can try different things. All the proteins are great and the mac n cheese..... So good!!! It's in a great location if you like beer as well. On the other side of the market there are many choices on tap. You can find anything you'd prefer to wash your bbq down with.

We stumbled into this cool place and found South End Smokehouse. It was SO GOOD!! My husband had a brisket sandwich and I had a brisket plate with coleslaw and tater tots. Everything was really good. The brisket was delicious and seasoned uniquely! I loved how they cut it in cubes instead of sliced. Just a nice touch. Everything was so good. And I just ate left overs. Brisket in the air frier with really good bbq sauce. Delish! This was located in Chamblee Tap and Market. Very cool place. Looks like fun activities throughout the week too We can't wait to go back!! Oh! We enjoyed Buzz, the owner. Very nice. I felt like we were hanging in his home!

Great BBQ spot! The brisket was super tender, and the ribs had awesome flavor--even without sauce. Sides were solid too, especially the mac and cheese. Friendly staff and chill atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving good BBQ. I didn't get to take a lot of pictures because I was too busy eating

This place has the BEST and BIGGEST dumplings in Atlanta…read more I was honestly shocked by the size--these dumplings are HUGE and packed with juicy, flavorful filling in every bite. The skin is perfectly soft with just the right chew, and everything tastes fresh and made to order. What makes it even better? XL dumplings starting at just $7. For the portion and quality, that's an insane deal. Plus, they even serve complimentary hot tea, which makes the whole experience feel even more authentic. The vibe is casual and no-frills, but that's how you know the food is legit. It's definitely a local favorite for a reason. If you're craving big, juicy dumplings in ATL, this spot is a MUST. I'll definitely be back

Enormous portion - took half home Fresh shrimp congee. Delicious (Enormous) congee. Six giant tasty prawns. Only negative is prawns had shell to clean. Would order different congee next time so not to clean prawns Shrimp rice noodle wrap (cheung fun) Average but fresh Sui mai - excellent taste . Twice as large as elsewhere Shrimp dumplings. Fresh and tasty . Large. This may be our favorite now (with dim sum heaven a close second) both cook fresh but different selection (duck etc vs wider at heaven) Have to bus your own table here but ok Parking was a challenge as next to / in city farmers market and same parking as food terminal . Most people took as take-out

When we arrived, I realized the location used to be the old Hong Kong Supermarket -- only longtime locals would probably remember that. The layout inside was pretty interesting. There was a Te'amos milk tea shop in the middle, Lao Szechuan on the right, and the hot pot & BBQ restaurant on the left. The staff greeted us warmly and quickly helped us get seated. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that they offered freshly made milk teas and fruit teas instead of bottled drinks. The drinks were decent and refreshing, especially for balancing out the richness of the meal. Each person gets their own mini hot pot, which I really liked because everyone could customize their own soup base and ingredients. We chose a variety of broths including mushroom, spicy mala, tomato, and herbal soup. Using the iPad ordering system, we basically ordered one of everything from both the hot pot and BBQ menus. The food came out surprisingly fast, and they even used robots to deliver dishes to the table, which was smooth and efficient. For hot pot, my personal favorites were the fatty beef slices, lamb, beef tripe, black tripe, tofu skin rolls, squid flowers, enoki mushrooms, corn, lotus root slices, kelp knots, fish balls, and beef tendon balls. Everything tasted great with the broth and my favorite sesame dipping sauce. On the BBQ side, the standout items for me were the cumin lamb, beef tongue, chicken cartilage, short ribs, and squid. We weren't exactly BBQ experts, so some meats weren't cooked perfectly, but the flavor was still really enjoyable -- and the best part was that you could keep ordering as much as you wanted. Honestly, for around $40 per person, it felt like a very good value. My parents both thought it was worth the price. We left full and satisfied, and the service was always attentive whenever we needed something. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Mother's Day meal, and I'd definitely come back again with friends next time.

Food: 3.5/5 there is a Kanpai near my hometown that was more 4/5, so I thought I would get a similar experience here, but their hot food bar had barely warm food and not as many options. Tables have spots for individual pots, and the BBQ grill is shared. The Tom Yum broth itself was good. Meat quality was up to par. Vegetables could have been fresher. For anyone with allergies: the sauce bar had a thoroughly written out allergy table and was clean, which was a plus. Drinks: Mai Tai was actually pretty good, and this is coming from someone that typically sticks with a beer. Sapporo is available on draft! Service/cleanliness: 3/5 the host sat us, a party of 3, down at a table meant for 6, which was interesting. We were quite literally one of 2 parties there, and only one other couple showed up while we dined. Our table was also the only table that had a grill with browned oil that came from who knows where. We had it changed to a clean one, but when we were handed the tablet to order, this was also covered in grease/oil. The bathrooms and sauce bar were clean, but at the table I was not satisfied. The server herself was very nice and explained the AYCE experience well. Ambiance: quiet music in the background, plenty of tables that could sit 4, 6, and 8.
