    Spicy Korean Pork

First meal off my flight was at Heirloom I came here for lunch and got Spicy Korean Pork sandwich, Kimchi coleslaw, and an apple tart. The sandwich was good but nothing crazy. The coleslaw was very flavorful and was pretty good. The apple tart was whatever. Overall my meal was decent. I liked that it was BBQ with a twist. The people working were nice and the food came out fast. It was good but not the best. I would come back and try their other items. I want to try their actual BBQ items. Parking was easy since they just share a lot with the place next door.

Hailing from california, this blew my mind. We don't have much good bbq in california. But i absolutely loved the Korean fusion touch. The brisket was bar none the best i have ever had. The Korean chicken was also great. Turkey a little dry but expected. Man was this good!

This is one of the best barbecue spots I've ever tasted. My husband was working in the area of Atlanta and he said he kept smelling this place so I told him to get some to go. This place did not disappoint as a to go barbecue spot. Next time I would love to go in and actually try it and get the full experience.

Heirloom Market is a great place for your BBQ fix. There was someone to greet us and explain how ordering and seating worked which allowed us to get settled quickly and decide what we like. Portion size was huge and definitely filling. What amazed me the most was the sides - huge portions that we didn't finish and took the rest home. The kimchi was so fresh and felt like a nice contrast to the savory burgers.

Winning sandwich for us was the Texas Turkey, we tried the Brisket Sandwich chopped, which was good, the Big Texas pork was the least enjoyed but good. On the side, kimchi slaw, wings (delicious, but not like home), mac n cheese (brag worthy, return worthy), collards (very good), sweet potatoes (great flavor, not sure if they should have been crispier, or softer, they were an odd density.

Absolutely fantastic!! I have had this place on my bucket list for a long while. Finally made it here this week. This place is tucked in next to a convenience store. You would not even know it was there if you were not looking for it. The parking lot is small but I got lucky and found a spot immediately. I was clueless upon arrival. To make it easier for you the reader... 1. Scan the QR code 2. Place order online 3. Give them your name after ordering It took maybe 10 minutes tops for my food. Brisket and french fries. Both were spectacular!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Absolutely loved Heirloom Market BBQ! Attached to a gas station but recognized by the Michelin Guide three years running, this spot is all about fantastic food and friendly service. The manager personally helped with ordering and recommended the chopped brisket with sweet and spicy sauce and collard greens--both were incredible. Tender, juicy brisket, smoky collard greens, and perfectly balanced sauces. Casual outdoor patio with standing tables only, $21 and you leave completely satisfied. A hidden gem worth every bite!

Had to take a pic w/the OutKast mural, especially since they were being inducted into the Rock & Roll HOF that day!

I decided to try this barbecue spot since it's known around the metro Atlanta area for having some of the best BBQ. The service was quick and efficient, which I really appreciated. I ordered fries and a half rack of ribs. The fries were pretty good (hard to go wrong there), but I didn't love the flavor of the ribs. The meat just didn't have that rich, smoky taste I was expecting from a place with such a strong reputation. That said, I don't eat barbecue all that often, so it could just come down to personal preference. The ambience gives off that true "hole-in-the-wall" feel, as it's tucked into a small parking lot next to a convenience store. Parking is limited, but it wasn't an issue since most people seemed to be picking up their food to go. Their ordering system is really convenient, you place your order on your phone and they call your name when it's ready. I also really enjoyed the artwork outside featuring local Atlanta legends, such a creative and thoughtful touch that adds to the overall vibe. Overall, great service and atmosphere, but the food itself wasn't quite what I was expecting this time.

I stopped by Heirloom Market BBQ with my sister and we both ordered lunch -- I got the sliced brisket with fries, and she had the half rack of ribs with fries. The place was steady with customers, and they definitely have an efficient system. I ordered from my phone, gave my name at the window, and our food came out within about 5-10 minutes. The fries were honestly the highlight for me -- hot, fresh, and a generous portion. They do have small standing tables along the side if you want to eat there, plus some cool artwork on the wall, but we took our food to go. As for the meats, the brisket and ribs just didn't have much flavor to me, even after adding the mild sauce. I also had one slice of brisket with a softer texture that I didn't end up eating. I know a lot of people love this spot and I've heard great things over the years, so it may just come down to personal taste. I've had barbecue elsewhere that I enjoyed more, so I left feeling underwhelmed this time. I do appreciate the fast service and the setup -- it just wasn't a win for me flavor-wise on this visit.

A friend sent me an instagram video of Heirloom market bbq, and I'm so glad they did. I never would have known this gem existed if they hadn't. The 2 meat combo, pork and Brisket was excellent. The brisket was maybe the best I had in Georgia. The sweet and sour wings were fantastic! The Mac and cheese was good, but not out of this world good. I placed my order at around 10:30 am online. Pulled in to the parking lot at around 11:01, walked right up and was greeted. I let them know my name, and in about 5 minutes I had my order. Took I home for the family to enjoy, and had plenty of leftovers. It was easy to get in and get out with pre ordering before I came, and I'm sure I'll be back!

Updating my review after trying Heirloom again and having a better grasp of what I consider great brisket to taste like. This time around, I felt that the brisket was a bit too dry and undersalted. I appreciate the thicker slices, but when it's not moist enough, it starts to feel more like a block. Perhaps we were not given a moist piece, but the brisket in my opinion was still undersalted, and therefore did not carry much flavor. Our party got their 3x3 combo and the other meats were decent. The turkey was actually pretty decent (not dry like it usually ends up being). The sides were okay but I didn't feel like they were anything special. I'm still not a fan of the bread being hamburger buns - it feels so cheap and it's not the same as sliced white bread in my opinion.

I enjoyed the fusion take of American barbecue and korean flavors. You place your order through the website, and then your order is brought out to you by the staff. We got an assorted combo of items. Some of the sides included mac and cheese, kimchi slaw, barbecue beans, onion rings. The ribs were very tender and fell right off the bone. You also are given a selection of sauces to order from. FYI: There is only standing tables available

The parking lot is still shared with a corner store. They have done a lot to make this place more inviting to customers but I wish they would get a new location. They have a patio now and do not let customers inside. They want you to use a QR code to place your order and pay. The patio does not have chairs. I ordered the pork rinds, brisket sandwich, HM Hot Chicken Sandwich, and baked beans. They gave me a lot of pork rinds for $4. The pork rinds are very crispy but lack flavor. The brisket is extremely good. The hot chicken sandwich is my favorite because it has the most flavor and it is huge. Baked beans are very tasty. Only took them a few minutes to get my order ready.

    Good gluten free options?

Can't give you a specific answer, but you can order a BBQ plate instead of a sandwich. Sides vary, but would avoid breaded and fried options. look at the menu they post online.

Your menu looks wonderful! Do you still offer the Turkey Legs featured on Diners and Drive in's?

Thank you! The turkey leg was a special for Thanksgiving, but it was a hit! We will consider doing it again.

Can you ask for Point portion of the brisket?

    Yes

    Is the smoker outside?

The smokehouse is outside of the restaurant but is in an enclosed attachment (not out in the open).

Will the chilli dogs be a new item that was featured for the Superbowl?

Yes. I saw it on their menu today

Interior wise, it's cute. It tries to invoke a sense of Japanese aesthetic with the shoji panels, all the wood and light, the fake flowers, and I don't hate it. It's a fine place to sit and chat, though I feel bad for others who want to visit because again, the parking here sucks. I got their black sesame latte float with a matcha and sakura (seasonal flavor) swirl. The sakura was sweeter than anticipated and not floral, which was a bit disappointing since I didn't like it alone or mixing with the matcha flavor. The black sesame portion was fine. I like the nuttiness of black sesame in general, and I would've loved if they used more for a stronger flavor. The flavor was subtle, and with the ice and soft serve on top, got easily diluted.
