Frankly, I feel a bit "bait and switched" or misled on what type of vehicle I was booking. In the website, the fleet is shown with very nice SUVs, sprinter vans, and other nice models. What we received was a Toyota Sienna mini-van that was gray and frankly, I could have used Lyft or Uber for this type of vehicle (and at a much cheaper rate) as it felt like the family car. I was not worried about paying $140 from Port Everglades to MIA in a nice vehicle with a professional driver (as is described on the website), but this mini-van appears nowhere on the website as one of the possible options, and had that been made clear, I would have gone somewhere else. Jeff was very nice though (despite being visibly sick - though he says it was allergies; hard to know for certain as a passenger), and he was early, and got us to the airport fine. He did talk, run our CC, and look at things on his phone all while driving, which felt a bit unsafe. He did mention he usually doesn't drive and is in the office, and complained about not liking Terminal 2 at the port and "everyone at the company" hating Miami Airport. He also got on a bit of a rant about people spending money/incurring debt on credit cards. There was no water offered (which is usually customary at this price point and expected level of service). Did we get from a to b, yes. But if you're looking for a higher end experience, be warned that this may not be it and was certainly not what the competition provides. read more

My wife booked them to take a large group of us from the cruise terminal to a nearby hotel. They sent a driver/vehicle from another company called Jewel. The driver was late, and the first time we called he said "yes, I am here at the terminal, I will pull up in a minute." Cue the impatient stares of our friends as we waited, and waited, and waited. Second call "yes, I am here at the terminal, I will pull up in a minute." Just put that on your outgoing message, and you won't have to answer any calls. When the driver did arrive, shortly after, in his very beat up shuttle, he hopped out of the driver seat and began to button his shirt. It would not stay buttoned, so he loaded baggage into the back with an unbuttoned shirt. Nice shirt, though, if you're going clubbing. The interior of the shuttle was much worse than the exterior, with broken air vents and a door that required a cheap gate latch, crudely bolted on, to keep it closed. We arrived safe and the initial delay was only about 20 - 30 minutes (which would have been a fairly minor issue if he had just been honest to begin with). So if I booked directly with Jewel, I might have given them a (generous) 2-star rating. It was only as I was writing this review that I looked at Jewel on Yelp and found they have a 1-star AVERAGE. So Elite gets a 1-star for substituting an obviously inferior other company. Stuff happens, and life's not perfect, and so we have to make allowances for random issues. But these guys sent someone our way that is known to be substandard. There's no excuse for that. read more

Worst car service experience I have ever had. For the pick up they sent a mini van instead of a van. That's fine- we were able to squeeze 2 pregnant woman, a man, 2 toddlers, 2 strollers, and 5 bags. It did seem odd that dispatch would call and complain about us to the driver (on speaker) when we were still in the car. But we laughed it off. They promised a larger car for the return service... And never showed! When they were 15 mins late we called them and were told they would be to us shortly. They couldn't provide an ETA, a phone number for a driver, or his location. When he was 35 mins late the phone number for the office was put straight to voicemail. At an hour late we were forced to leave 1 adult and half our luggage, and pile into a 4 door rental car with no toddler car seats in order to make our flight. an hour later they finally called us back to say the driver was in an accident and couldn't come at all. Our father spent the day driving back and forth from CAPTIVA to the airport to get the remaining items (and person) to the airport where they had to take a later flight. Best part? The driver showed up an hour and 45 mins late and told the remaining person that he wasn't even told about our pick up until this morning. No accident at all! Jeff took care of me and my band through multiple arrivals into the airport, and through a fair amount of ferrying throughout the city to make our gig. He was prompt (early, in fact), friendly, and took perfect care of us throughout our time in Fort Lauderdale. Even as our gig ran over, he was patient and waited around for us without issue. Booked This company to take us to the Miami Cruise Port and pick us up after the cruise. We were staying in Fort Lauderdale. They charged $84.00 for four of us each way. They were one and a half hours late picking us up going and over an hour late picking us up returning. Not acceptable. read more

We made a last minute booking for transport from Fort Lauderdale airport to cruise terminal. We had four people with lots of luggage. Jeff was able to accommodate us easily. He was prompt and professional for a reasonable price. On the return trip a week later, he met us at cruise terminal at designated time and kept in good communication that morning as we wound our way through a lengthy disembarkation and customs process. As it happened, we had a very late flight so we arranged for Jeff to drop us at Sawgrass Mall. He let us store all of our carryons in the back of the shuttle, and returned 4 hours later at appointed time to return to airport. Everything ran smoothly and he helped make the day a success. From the other reviews, it sounds like our experience was an exception but it was not good. Elite did not come to pick us up! We called a few hours before our reserved time to confirm and it seemed fine, but at the appointed time, no shuttle! It turned out that Elite had some problem and could not come, so they passed on the booking to another shuttle service at the last minute and did not tell us. They did not give the other driver enough time to get to our place punctually, nor did they give him the directions we had told the Elite people, so he got lost and had to call us several times. He wound up being half an hour late, which is a serious problem when you are trying to catch a flight. The other driver was fine, but he did not work for Elite so I don't consider his good job a reflection on them. The whole experience was annoying and not something I would have expected at all. They were nice enough on the phone, punctual to pick up, and the cars were clean and in good condition. However, they overcharged me twice. Their website indicated that the ride would cost $55, which is what they said they would charge in when I made the reservation. However, when I thought to look at what the actual receipt said on my ride back to the airport they had charged me $65. When I called them to ask they claimed that I had also paid $65 on the first trip, and proceeded to give me a break down of how much it costs them to go through the airport, etc. Ultimately, they do not stick to the prices they announce, don't keep their word and left me with a strong feeling that they were trying to scam me by sneaking the larger amount on the receipt. Lesson for me, always always look at what you are signing. read more

We booked this car service because we needed someone reliable to transport our elderly, wheelchair bound parents from their home in West Palm to Ft Lauderdale cruise ship. We could not have been more disappointed. They arrived late and when they did, they were not sure of the directions. On our return, they were again late which left my parents and us waiting on the curb for 30 minutes. The driver pulled into the wrong area and expected us to move my parents and all of our luggage the equivalent of NY city block to meet him. We had to hire a porter to meet him. When he dropped us off he would not help us in with the luggage. I would avoid this service. read more

So disappointed to find that I was charged $200 for a ride that they normally charge $140 for from Fort Myers to Venice. I arranged the ride for friends by phone from Canada and paid in advance, and then the driver charged them too. But he didn't realized the "special rate" I had and only charged them $130!! I am embarrassed to be overcharged when I was trying to do something nice for friends... and embarrassed that they were charged for something that I arranged as a gift. We chartered Elite Shuttle to pick us up at FLL and take us the the Ritz Carlton and then pick us up 2 days later at the Ritz and take us to Port Everglades.We have used Execucar a number of times in the past for Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, but they don't come to Ft. Lauderdale anymore...and I should have know something was up when it only cost $55/each way. Everything had been confirmed the morning of, a woman called me and asked for our flight number, it had been wrong in her system and asked if pick up was still at 1130. I stated yes, as long as the flight was not delayed, and she said no problem they would watch for that. I received a call to see if we had our luggage yet, just as our wheels touched down, so I guess she wasn't watching...When i got our bags I called and they driver told me to watch for a silver van with a black trailer behind it...excuse me??? i was expecting the SUV they show on their website, or even the town car, but a shuttle van and trailer for 2 people? but yep, a shuttle van that can hold 8 passengers and a pull behind trailer arrived. Two people got out, neither of which could lift our luggage, the driver had an injury and I didn't even listen to the excuse from the woman. The smell from the van when we got it was identical to the smell of a patient that family has brought to hospital after noticing that their loved one hasn't been bathing for weeks and seems to always be wearing the same clothes...it was disgusting. My husband gave me the look to not make any comments and we continued, it was late and we just wanted to get to the hotel. Along the way the driver and his entourage were chatty, and made underhanded comments like, "we didn't realize that you were coming in at 1130 pm, we usually charge $15.00 more for that" I looked at my receipt that said 1130pm on it and kept my mouth shut, I wasn't paying anymore for this POS van. Then upon arrival at the hotel, the porter removed our bags and took them inside. my kind husband still tipping the shuttle service. Two days later as we awaited the horrid van and trailer to arriveat noon at the hotel to pick us up, we sat in the lobby from 1140 (every other car service we have used arrived 15-10 min early) and then at 1155 my phone rang and the caller hung up and then at 1156 my husband's phone rang and it was the shuttle driver telling us that he was just around the corner...then at 1215 my husband called the driver back and "sorry we got caught at the bridge, we will be there in 5 min" was the response. At 1222 we were on our way to the port in the still horrible smelling van (ever heard of Febreeze people, or maybe an actual seat cleaning) and the whole way we got to listen to the driver and again, his sidekick, talk about how a big yacht going through had held them up and blah, blah, blah....if they had attempted to be early like anyone else we've ever dealt with they would have atleast been on time. I will NEVER use this "car service" ever again. Please come back to Ft. Lauderdale Execucar!!!! read more
