We went to the South Florida Fair and overall had a nice time. Parking is not free -- we opted for premium parking at $25 so we could park closer, especially since we were also dropping off clothes for a clothing drive. Once inside, there's a lot to see and do. The main area has plenty of booths to browse, and there are animals like cows, sheep, and more (though no pigs this year). There are also lots of rides if that's your thing, and no shortage of fair food to try. A tip to keep in mind: Tuesdays are $2 admission and every food item is $2. That's not really my favorite setup, but some people absolutely love it and it's a good deal if you're interested in sampling different foods. I also enjoyed seeing the crafts and local vendors. It's worth remembering that the fair gives out a lot of scholarships to local high school students, which is a great way they give back to the community. All in all, it's a nice local event and a fun way to spend a day. This year I went with my husband and friends - my kids were busy and are going on another day.

The Fair is back . This year the theme is Pirates for 2026. It begins on Friday, January 16 And runs until February 1. The hours are Monday to Friday 12:00 PM -10:00PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00AM - 10:00PM . Only the last day it closes at 8:00PM. There are special events daily different bands and shows. They have the famous ice show which is my favorite but hours are earlier and I went at night for opening day. I will be back again to see more shows and events that are upcoming. Tickets are $15 unless you bought advanced tickets . They do have bands for rides and also offer a VIP skip the lines . Parking is general $15 ad premium at $25 or we can dodge the parking fees and park at the Wellington Mall and take the shuttle to the fair. The Fair is famous for it's sand sculpture of each themed year which is amazing. They have the ice show as I mentioned and the Hypnotist show and other shows they have inside the convention center. The outside shows all vary through out the day on each particular day. They have rides for all ages . The bigger rides are in one section and there is another section for the little with games for them too. A few games allow for the kiddos to always win a prize for $10 each game. The games are more expensive then the years past but economy does it. There are only some games that are $5 . They do allow for credit cards but with extra fee of a $1 while others only except cash. I suggest to have both if you use the ATM it's a 4.25 fee which could go towards a game . They have a lot food to choose, the regular fair food of turkey legs and corn on the cob that one I love pizza, corn dogs, chicken, kabobs, seafood etc is also available. Snacks pretzels, apples, kettle corn my favorite For the sweet tooths you can find elephant ears, funnel cakes with many fried sweets too. Beverages lemonade, ice tea - keep your cups from the years past or one you purchase to receive refills at a discount price can be $10 plus for the initial one. They also have alcoholic beverages too. To keep warm there is apple cider but they ran out at the cider donuts kiosk which are amazing . Inside the vendor areas I found a coffee and hot cocoa shop and got one here for $5 to warm up. Inside they have many things to see and buy too. they added an arcade zone this year that I passed by. There is famous Yesteryear Village which has a little home, school, church, general store and more to see from way back when. Then there are the animals cows, goats ,llamas, chickens, rabbits to see pet and feed. An agriculture area near the animals too. The have a parade they throw beads to the onlookers designed as the theme of the year . Prepare to spend a full day because it's hard to see all the shows as you have to run from one to the next for the showtimes . If some are outside you may be late because it's all over . So you must choose your plan for which shows you want to see seating is first come. I think this is my 12th year I lost track . I will be back again to see the shows and more . I love this fair.

I always enjoyed coming yearly to this event. We came on the opening weekend and was not disappointed. It wasn't too crowded, the breezy weather was perfect. Lots of fun cool activities and shows. The bathroom was always clean. I'm glad this year, the younger crowd was managed so it wasn't too crazy. The fair food was all delicious. The wait line was not too bad. Secret is to coming early as you can, enjoy the fair and leave when it's too late. We were there from 11am-11pm. So much fun!

Ahhh, the fair. So many memories. I love the fair and all its excess, but the main thing I go for has changed. Fair food has died. Don't get me wrong, they still have candy apples and corn dogs, but everything is a company truck now, and everything has at least one more place selling the same foods on the other side of the Midway. I miss the days of finding the weird one off selling pork chops on a stick or deep fried butter. The rides are still there, the animal exhibits, the shows, it's all fine, but the weight guesser is gone, there's no insulting clown waiting be dropped into a tank, even the "hit the bell and win a prize" is digital now. I'm sad.

We went for the opening day and it was not that crowded when we arrived. We had a good time bringing my granddaughter, her cousin's and our other family members to the southFlorida State fair. We happened to pick the day that the weather was going to be rainy and raw but overall we had a good time. There was lots of good food choices lots of things we could shop for. There were plenty of amusements for the kiddos and adults.

The fairs yearly arrival is always anticipated. Brought my son for Sunday Funday. We arrived a little after 1pm looking to beat the crowds as best as possible. Admission is $20 (children 10 & younger, free). Ride wristbands $45. Great food and family fun.

Had a great time at the fair this year! This was my first time ever going so I truly didn't know what to expect, but I don't think I was prepared for the size of this fair! So much to do and eat! There were plenty of rides for the big and little kids. The big Farris wheel was $7 a person and we got to go around atleast 3 or 4 times which felt like a good deal with the price. Hands down would recommend if you're a local!

Seasonal fair that comes around to south Florida in January. This fair has gotten pretty expensive to attend. It costs: * $10 to park * $20 per person to enter * $45 for a rides wristband Food ranges from anywhere of $8-$16. The ribbon fries were $10 at a booth and the serving is monstrous. Lots and lots of food options to choose from. I would recommend donating blood for free fair tickets because it's really pricey to just get in. Livestock is available for you to come and view.

This review is for the Expo Center. It is a big space, pretty organized with ticket booths at the front, a big yard, and then the Expo area. I came for the gem show, there were many vendors and people walking around dressed like wizards. A lot of the vendors were selling beads and pieces to make jewelry, so this is not just a collectors or gemologist show. I did find a rare stone, the Auralite 23. It is a nice and big show, and some vendors came with rocks priced above 5K. Cool event.

I've been here before and have written reviews before too! We recently attended my first Drive-In concert to see IV King & Country's Little Drummer Boy Christmas. From the moment we pulled up, everything was well organized and flowing--they had plenty of security on-hand too. We made our way to our prepaid section and parked. Everyone was either tailgating, or on top of their hoods. There was plenty of lighting throughout, including the vendor/merch area. Unfortunately, the Port-o-Potties had neither lighting nor TP! Good thing I typically carry wipes in my backpack, just in case one of my grand babies should need them. The sound was clear and loud but not blasting, which was perfect to enjoy and still sing along. I also loved that the singers were taken up above the widescreen with a crane-like apparatus. That visual was sweet! Speaking of, food and drinks were permitted, so we didn't have to spend an extra dime!! Altogether, it was one of the best concert experiences of a lifetime at this venue.

The otters are hilarious and they untied my shoes while I wasn't looking at my feet. The tour guides really care about the animals and explain how all of them ended up here. A lot of them were pets that people abandoned/couldn't handle, which was sad to hear but I'm so glad this place exists for them. I also want to give a shoutout to Albert the albino porcupine. They got him for Lola, the black porcupine, but she won't mate with him because she sees his white color as weak. Albino porcupines are mostly blind, so she keeps rejecting him because she wants strong offspring. Poor Albert!!! I hope he finds love soon.

There was a young boy in our group who was not old enough for one of the experiences, and even though the parents weren't thrilled, the staff still followed their rules and did not allow him to participate. I respect them for prioritizing the safety of both the child and the animals. Such a fun and memorable experience overall!

The kids were able to paint their pumpkins and add glitter to make it super sparkly. There was music going on that the kids could dance to and there was even a gem contest. The kids had the opportunity to go out into the field and find gems. One of the owners gave out prizes for who could bring up the brightest gem from the field. I especially want to mention the young lady working at the Dippin' Dots stand. I don't remember her name, but she had dark hair and was wearing a green Palm Beach Zoo shirt. I had three kids with me, and my grandson was having a tantrum and threw his ice cream. She came out, brought him a new one, and took the time to talk to him and help calm him down. It's not a huge zoo, which actually makes it perfect for families with young kids--you can comfortably see everything without feeling rushed. If you're planning a visit this summer, don't miss the Kids Free promotion (available through August 10), where up to four children can enter free with a paid adult admission. It's a great way for families to save. One of my biggest recommendations is to rent a Safari Wagon if you have two kids. It costs $10 for the entire day and makes the visit so much easier. Just be sure to arrive early! We came right when the zoo opened on a Saturday, and there were only about 4-5 wagons available. A few helpful tips: * Bring swimsuits and towels for the kids because there's a splash area where they can cool off. * The water pump at the playground has been repaired, and it's a huge hit with children. During our visit, some areas were temporarily closed for renovations, including the flamingo exhibit, part of the bridge area, and the lion viewing area. Hopefully everything will reopen soon. The only disappointment was the restrooms. They were noticeably dirty, with cobwebs, leaves on the floor, and an unpleasant smell. It looked like they hadn't been cleaned in quite some time, which was surprising considering how well the rest of the zoo is maintained. Overall, we still had a wonderful day and will definitely keep coming back. It's a lovely zoo that's perfect for a relaxing family outing.
