I have been going to spanaway nails now nails 2000 for about 8 years now. Ben and Lilly are amazing!! Ben is the only one that has ever done my nails. I am extremely picky and he knows exactly what I want and he goes above and beyond every time. Lilly does my pedicures and she is such a sweet kind woman , she is very good and thorough when she does my feet I always feel amazing when I leave. Amazing! I had a coworker recommend this place and wow they were so kind! I told them it was the first pedicure I had and they were very kind and accommodating to me. I believe I had Brenda who was super sweet and gorgeous! I felt awesome and welcome during my entire mani/pedi which hasn't always been my experience with some salons. They constantly try to upsell the next level without really going into too much detail. They don't tell you when something they are doing is extra, they just suggest it and then you are hit with it at the end. They don't give you a detailed bill and so when my total was over $100 I about flipped. I asked for Gel Cat Eye for my manicure and it was nothing like I had gotten before at other places. They started with a black polish as the base and that made it way too dark. I'm not even sure if they used gel because after 2 days, it started peeling like normal, cheap polish would. All the gel polish I've had in the past was near impossible to get off so why did this juts peel that easy? I tried to say something but I'm not sure if they even understood me or maybe they pretended not to understand me; I'm not sure. I ended up with the most expensive pedicure while my friend did the least expensive one. She was in her chair 30 minutes longer than I was so definitely not work the extra money. I've tried calling and left messages but no reply yet. I feel like they should fix things and make it right. read more

I usually don't review a place after only going there once. But, I truly did have a great experience here. I called day-of and they were able to get me in for three services. When I arrived, they sat me right down in a massage chair. This place is large with a good amount of staff working. The woman who did my pedicure did a fantastic job, as did the woman who did my manicure. It's been almost a week and my gel mani is still good as new! I felt that the price was definitely reasonable as well. If you're in the Tacoma area, Spanaway/Parkland is a drive, but I'd say worth it. I was turned off by the area at first, but the business is clean and decorated nicely. read more

I went here because of how great of the reviews were. I am NOT happy at all with the service I had received. I wasn't greated at the door. Told me to pick a color. I was there to get a pedicure, acrylic, and eyebrow waxing. First off they gave me extremely hot water in my foot soak, and I told them to cool it down they finally did. He didn't ask if I wanted a design or not. I was then sent to a station to get my acrylics but they forgot that I wanted them done so I had to remind them. When he placed the acrylic false nails on my tips they were put on crooked. He said he would file them down to fix them. Then as he began to paint them he didn't cover the whole nail. For instance the top coat you can see where it landed on my nail. Then when I had noticed a smudge he wouldn't fix it correctly I would have to pay 5$ more. Heck no! You have got to be kidding. Then they forgot I was getting my eyebrows done and that was the best experience of the whole place. Since they turned out just perfect. A total of 49$ and not going back maybe just for my eyebrows. read more

Terrible! Scam artists! All I asked for was a simple manicure no gel no design no anything and this is what I got every single employee had an attitude they had horrible customer service. When I tried to make sure my nails were at least decent, somehow they demanded I pu31$ for a gel "French tip" manicure with "design" (so called sparkles) that looks literally like my 3 year old niece did them And my friends toe got infected from their "spa pedicure" How this place is still in business I don't know but I would definitely recommend somewhere of quality like Moon nails or Chit Chat Spa not this sad excuse of a nail shop read more

This was my first time at this place. Weird location to me but close to my home and easy to find. Could use a dusting but it is a nail salon so you have to expect it to be dusty. I was not disappointed by this place regardless. Friendly customer service, good quality manicure and pedicure, with fair prices. They were not rushed and very professional, they took their time on both my hands and feet which I appreciated very much. Only odd thing was that they only accept cash tips, which is fine but I didn't know and felt terrible leaving and running next door to get cash for a tip. read more

Yeah so I usually can come in and get what I want without any questions with any one of the technicians. However, it seems like I can use anyone for regular or gel nails but DO NOT get dip done with any technician who doesn't know what the process is. If it's not done with the correct polishes beforehand you WILL have someone using acrylic materials which will WRECK your nails. read more

I have been coming here for a few years now for gel fill-ins and pedicures, and recently waxing. Roes does excellent work! When she is on vacation back home, I am forced to try other spots. I have tried all of the nail places up and down Pacific Avenue, and this place is by far the best! Roes always takes time and ALWAYS gets my ingrown toenails! No one else EVER does! I always get the gel polish w/ my fill - two days after my fill the gel started to peel up .. she even tried to charge me EXTRA when I wanted a nail polish change , all I wanted was her to trim my toe nails down... $8 extra for that. I told her I would just like a refund and I don't need my toes painted so she ended up cutting them at no charge but cut them crooked and this is honestly the worst job I've ever had.... I have been going to this nail place since mid 2005,mans even when I moved to central Washington I made sure to schedule my family visits to get my nails done here. I have tried many other places and have been left disappointed. I always either ask for Trish, or Brenda the owner. They now know how I like my nails done and it's important to that they know who imam and that I'm picky when incomes to my nails. I never leave here disappointed. The prices have pretty much stayed the same, and Brenda just finished a complexly new remodel, it looks amazing. It looks ver salon-ish when you walk in. They also don't tell you "only 10 min wait" when you know it will be an hour. They straight up, I've been going there for a while and they will tell me that can't fit me in, which if I'm a walk in I understand, but I always go back because it's the best. read more

Today I decided to try out this place because it was close by and I didn't really want to drive to the one I usually go to. I went in around 6pm before closing and right away asked if it was okay because I know how it's like to come in an hour before closing (they close at 7). As The lady returned to me to ask what I wanted I grabbed out my phone to show the ombré deign I wanted. She right away said no that she couldn't do it. And i got a little bit confused because I always had ombré done and they'd do it with a sponge at the nail place I go to. I asked if there was another way to do it and she told me only powdered nails.. I looked at my sister confused.. and before I could even respond she replied rudely " Any Salon that you go to only Can do it with powder." She made it sound as if I knew nothing about nails... and then on top of that she told me to hurry and pick because they close at seven. When she walked away.. I grabbed my little sister and older sister and left. I didn't want someone with that negativity to work on my nails... Never get your nails done with someone who is rude to you or is rushing.. because they bless your hands with the words they say... and why would you have someone do your nails if intend behind them is a bad vibe.. If she told me nicely that it was only with powdered nails in their salon, I would have easily just picked a simple nude color in gel. I'm not a hard person to please. It was my bad for coming in a hour before closing... and I understand that some days Can be hard. But i Didn't deserve to be talked to like that. They use terrible topcoat and did my nails with no base coat. I made them change it. I was going on vacation and on the 3rd day i had so many chips i had to take the polish off. Get this, i was able to use a fingernail and remove every bit of polish with no remover. I've been to places with great topcoat and lasted two weeks with NO chips. Mimi has been my go to girl for years(since I was 16). The salon is my second home considering I'm there every two weeks for my fill & pedicure. I literally can sit at her chair and she knows what shape to do without even asking. I'm a receptionist so people stare at my hands all day and I get asked where I get my nails done daily. I can be indecisive when it comes to picking out the correct shade that matches my Pinterest pictures or design in my head and mimi instantly knows what colors work best with my idea and skin tone. I do a different color/design at every visit & she is so patient with me & willing to paint the color on my acrylic to see if it's a shade I like before we proceed to the next nail. I enjoyed her friendly conversation and attention to detail and fixing what issues I had. Not five stars because the set wasn't as neat and natural looking as I had wanted them to be, like thinner near the nail bed, and behind some of the nails. The nail lady cut me! Mediocre mani/ pedi with a bad attitude. Removed my nail polish with tissue paper opposed to cotton balls. Lint was flying everywhere. Left my nails uneven. When I asked for modifications on my nails she told me she "knew what she was doing". I'm not one to tell people how to do their job but I've never had a problem like this anywhere previously. They'll ask you to go to the wall and pick a polish if you don't like what they bring first but even then they grabbed a different color. Not even close to what I had picked, I'd choose nude pink they would grab a super bright baby pink. Made me feel rude for wanting the right color. This place gives the best pedicures ever! They scrub your feet and use the cheese grater thing to get off the dead skin 2 different times, as well as give a great foot and leg massage. The place is clean, the employees are quiet and don't yell across the building, and when I needed a gel nail repair they did it complimentary. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

I've gone to this place a few times normally I love it, but normally I go in and they're not as busy. And apparently even make an appointment isn't helpful because if it starts getting busy behind you ready made an appointment or not they rush you out, I paid for shellac and the lady who does my nails already knows and really fussy about my nails. And no she didn't use the shellac because all the colors but the base coat wore off she put the shellac underneath regular paint and now it's chipping in a horrible way and its only been 4 days. Usually I love when windy colors my nails and does designs on them I told her exactly what I wanted and I showed her a picture it looks nothing like the picture I asked for cherries they really look like apples but I'll let you judge. read more

Just got my nails done at this salon yesterday, they were very nice! Took care of all the customers equally, didn't leave anyone out, like at some salons people act like you not even there! I hate that, but these ladies are very nice!!!! Also pretty reasonably priced, I got an acrylic set and mani for $35 and they look very good! Any requests I had, my girl listened! For example I don't like when they are too long so I told her short please, and she made sure with me after she trimmed them if it was good and all around very clean! Very inviting when you walk the front door :) they come right up to you to speak with you about what you want! I would recommend this salon to anyone! read more

Ok, so....I've been to a ton of nail salons around the Puyallup area and its been really hit or miss as to the quality of service I've received. Today I had to take my comforter to the laundromat and a few doors down I noticed this salon. Waiting for an hour while my comforter dried didn't sound fun, so I popped into Salon 2000 for a mani. Oh boy was I surprised!! Rose did my mani and she was exceptional! She took her time, made sure each nail matched/looked good and she spoke excellent English :) I never felt rushed and the hand/arm massage at the end was wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised and I will be back again! The best part? My shellac mani was only $25! Not what I'm used to paying!! Woohoo! read more

I loved and boasted about this salon forever I've been a loyal and repeating customer since day 1 of getting acrylics. But they slowly started raising prices, and sometimes they don't listen to what you want for your nails (they have told me no based on their opinion of what I wanted even though I'm paying for what I want) and when I actually question them on how the price varies and suddenly rises it's always something new like "too long" or "gel" even though a full gel set costed me $30 before and recently I was charged $40 for no logical reason I'm tired of being overcharged and I refuse to come back.
