Another great experience with Mark Taylor from #1 Cochran in Robinson. This is the 2nd vehicle we bought from Mark and he made it so easy. He tracked down the Bronco I wanted and made the whole process so fun! Thanks Mark Taylor!!!

CarSense is awesome! I was buying my first car after finally getting my license (at age 30!). My…read moredad has bought a few cars from the CarSense in Cranberry and always had a great experience, so he recommended I check the Robinson location out since it's closer to me. First, their website is super easy to use to help you see their current inventory and search/filter by make, model, price, mileage, and even special features. If you create an account, you can also save cars and come back to review and compare them later. They had several hatchbacks in my price range available. I called a few days before I wanted to come to the dealership and spoke with Jaison, who was super friendly and easy to work with. He talked to me about what I was looking for and even sent me a video of one of the cars I was very interested in. When I came out to the dealership, I wanted to test drive some alternatives. Jaison had told me he wouldn't be there when I was planning to arrive, so I worked with Jon, who was also very nice. Jon gave me three cars to test drive, and I ended up going with a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic. It looks brand new and has under 20K miles on it. I'm an idiot and forgot my checkbook at home, but Jon let me fill out all of the paperwork so I would just need to come back in the morning with a check. It took under two hours to test drive and choose a car and do the paperwork, and then 15 minutes for me to get it from them this morning. A few things to keep in mind: 1) They do NOT haggle. It's not what they do, and they're literally not allowed to do it. This isn't a bargaining thing; they just don't do it. So be prepared to pay the exact sticker price. 2) Their financing is based on the vehicle that you choose, so you can't apply before you choose a car. I ended up getting financing elsewhere because I wanted to have a check with me before I went.

It tookseveral phone calls just together through to the service desk. I made an appointment for 7 weeks in advance for the annual inspection. The inspection went well, I only needed one tire to pass, and they didn't have it in stock so I was asked to call back. Again it was impossible to get through to the service desk. I got a message to buy a medical device or it went straight to Car Shop Cranberry. When I spoke with someone at the Cranberry location. I was told they couldn't make any appointments for the Robinson service desk, and they couldn't transfer me to the Robinson service. The clerk said the Robinson shop phones "didn't work". I was going to go into the Robinson service area in person, but on the way, I drove by 5 tire stores. I'll make an appointment at one of those businesses for my one 129.95 tire. And Carshop has lost our entire family's business. We used to only buy our cars their and always had a great experience. Maybe 3 cars bought there in ten years doesn't mean anything to whoever changed Carsense to Carshop. But im not buying a car from someplace that doesn't have phones that work.

The gentleman I spoke with was great and genuinely helpful. The woman I spoke with felt more dismissive, which took away from the experience. When I arrived for my pickup appointment, the rep helping me was friendly and handled everything smoothly. He even gave me recommendations for local mechanics to complete my PA state inspection. I had seen reviews saying some vehicles did not pass inspection, so I took mine in right away. It passed without any issues. My appointment was at 9 AM. By 9:30 there were three other clients waiting and only one rep working. It felt like a scheduling or staffing issue, but even with that I was only there for about an hour to an hour and a half. The truck itself was in good shape and matched the listing. The interior was the real disappointment. It was not detailed at all and placing two paper mats in the front row does not count. There was dirt on the dash and in the cupholders. Almost every hard surface has a white residue on it. Having worked in the automotive industry for six years, I would never let a client drive home in a vehicle that looked like that. I will either have to pay to have it detailed or do it myself, which should not be the case Carvana. The process was convenient and the truck was as described, but the lack of interior detailing and some service inconsistencies kept this from being a higher rated experience.

The day after I got my car from this lot, the air conditioning stopped working (it was the evaporator that was bad and he was aware of it). The lot paid for the part, which was a little over $100, but the process of replacing the part is very labor intensive and expensive and we could not afford it. Fast forward a month or so later, the car would not start. Almost $2,000 later, the car is still not running correctly and won't make it out of the driveway. We found a mechanic recommended by Tommy who has been nothing but helpful, but he agreed that the best course of action is to get rid of the Lexus. We were in a very bad situation and Tommy took advantage of that. We were pretty desperate for a car after my BMW (which we traded in here for the Lexus) stopped being reliable. He ripped us off on the trade and will continue to do that to others! Do not do business with these people. You will get screwed over.

The owner, Bob, wanted nothing to do with us. He pawned us off to a mechanic who said there was a litany of problems with the car. We took it back to Bob and he agreed to have them fixed. We thought he did until a month later (we rarely drove the car), when there were more problems. Guess what? At that point it was past the 30 day warranty bumper to bumper. Bob YELLED at my fiance and threw, yes threw, a paper at her saying its our responsibility now. The paper had a list of three mechanics to talk to. They never returned our calls and never offered to fix what THEY did wrong. A month later, we started getting water in the front well. Yes WATER! We, at our own expense, took it to one of the places he mentioned. They said they fixed it but water was now coming in the back. We couldn't drive the car for 2 months over the winter but when spring came, we decided to take it to a mechanic locally. There were several inches of water UNDER the back seat. The water had burned out an electronic controller. They said there were other problems INCLUDING tires that were worn to the threads. What the hell kind of place sells such horrible KNOWN to be bad vehicles to unsuspecting customers? Used Car World and Bob Fallon. When we took it to a VW dealer, there was too many repairs to name. It would cost more than what I owed on the car (still $6k). We traded the POS in and got a very reputable car from Day Apollo - a MUCH better experience. If you want terrible service AFTER the high pressure sale, go to Bob and his horrible business. If you wanted to be treated fairly, go anywhere else.

This was a complete waste of time, fuel, and effort after traveling six hours based on inaccurate information. I was counting on this loan to consolidate and pay off some bills, only to have the approval taken away the next day. To make matters worse, I had received a special loan offer in the mail encouraging me to apply, which made this experience even more disappointing. The entire process felt misleading and poorly handled. I understand that approvals can depend on verification, but better communication and more thorough review before pulling someone's credit would have saved a lot of frustration. I had sent my cousins here to look at a used car that was listed on their website. They do not know much about cars at all and i was trying to help them out from afar to find a reliable used vehicle. They went and looked at a honda and realized it was not what they were looking for so they looked at a 2018 Kia Sportage that they also had. They ended up buying the car, but unbeknownst to them the dealership knew this vehicle had issues. They did not even have the car for one whole day before calling me to tell me that they were broken down and were having the car towed back to their house. When i got there the check engine light was flashing on the dash so I plugged in my OBD scanner to pull the codes. The code I pulled up was p1326:07e3 which indicates an issue with the Knock Sensor detection. Luckily enough, Kia stores the dates the codes appeared and we could see that the code was stored before they purchased the car and was hooked up to a scanner and cleared the code so the check engine light was be removed from the dash. Only problem is, even if it is cleared the light will reappear after driving it when the system detects an issue again. So that was issue #1. Upon looking at the wiring harness where the Knock sensor is located, we noticed that the main wiring harness is literally cut/broken where that sensor should be. So they sold a car to a customer that has a BROKEN main engine harness. Although that issue is related to issue #1, it actually makes it issue #2 because not only do we need a knock sensor now, we also need the pigtail and wiring to repair the main engine harness. If that's wasn't enough, while we were inspecting that, we noticed that the coolant reservoir was completely empty. We took a look at that and realized the rad hose wasn't even CONNECTED to the radiator! There was absolutely NO inspection done to this car when it was traded in/bought from auction and my poor cousins didn't even have the car for a whole 24 hours before this turd broke down. When my cousins spoke to the dealership the day after they offered no help and refused to take the car back. This dealership should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for their predatory and dishonest business practices. My cousin is a disabled service member who spent their savings account on a car that they haven't even been able to put 50 miles on. It now sits in the driveway until they can afford to get it fixed. I would absolutely NOT recommend buying a vehicle here. If they wanted to make things right, they'd take this car back and fix the things that should've been fixed in the first place.

Well, I'm gonna. A while back I booked an appointment for my cars horn, aux cable functionality and (non urgent (deemed by a separate place) check engine light issue all fixed. This place for other issues which were all mostly solved too. Great. But, I booked the appointment for essentially first thing on a Saturday, the best option for me with work and given they didn't have loaners available. I show up, give them my car and they call me a Lyft home. A couple hours later I get a call back saying "so we don't know what's wrong with your car and we're closing soon. Come get it." I come to find out when I got there about 30 minutes later that they just hadn't had the time to look at my car. If you're backed up and can't look at my car, tell me that when I drop off my car. Be honest. I ended up getting a loaner that had apparently just been dropped off and then got an email and phone call about my car and the issues first thing Monday morning. So, my appointment as scheduled originally was a waste. I could have just dropped the car off, as a walk in likely, on Monday and gotten the issues fixed then and there. My big issue is that they didn't give me the honest truth that they hadn't even looked at or gotten to my car. Don't lie and say you don't know what the issues are with my horn, aux cable and check engine light. Don't pull the wool over my eyes only to then actually look at the car when my father in law talks to your service techs. But hey, silver lining: James at the service center was very nice and I'd like to buy him a beer.
