Usually the dates are over the weekend (Friday to Sunday) which is convenient if you are working during the work week and do not have time to go to a hazardous waste disposal site. Before going, make sure that the items that you would like to dispose are acceptable and follow the safety instructions listed on the website. For the Wastemobile service, I am not sure if they offer walk-up disposal service. I believe you need to drive to the site with the items you want to dispose. There can be long lines of cars waiting, so you will want to go during quieter periods of the day if you don't want to wait. Once you are at the front, you open the trunk of the car, the staff takes possession of the items that you want to dispose and you drive off. I would recommend putting the items in a bag or in a box to make it easier to remove. If you need to dispose of any hazardous waste items from your home, I would look into the Wastemobile service to see if it meets your needs.
