I've had sets from Pioneer, Sony, Samsung, Toshiba and now LG. I was one of his earliest clients and I've recommended him over these many years. I was originally about to purchase a Sony Master Z series 8k 75" set, but he strongly steered me toward an LG OLED - new G2 in 75". What a difference his advice made! Robert is considered by LG (and other companies as well) as being a Master Class Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) calibrator of display devices. He is also now working with Dolby Labs and they highly value his skill-set in their own development. Most people naively think calibrating a TV is merely adjusting the contrast, brightness, color, detail, etc. buttons on the remote LOL! Have I got news for you! That is NOT calibration no matter how good you "think" you are at setting those knobs. Calibration requires extremely expensive equipment that Robert brings to your home. A full calibration can take up to eight (8) hours, but when he's done you are going to be left with your mouth open in awe of what that set of yours is capable of showing! My calibration of the LG-G2 was completed yesterday. He started at 9am and finished just before 6pm. I invited a friend over to watch the long process and he was shocked at what's involved and he now wants the same done for him eventually. Robert loves to explain every single step of WHAT he's doing and WHY he's doing it. Watching him is like watching a micro-surgeon delicately tweak settings you don't have access to as an owner. Robert's professional skill-set does not come cheap, but if you've already spent several thousand on a good set, you would be foolish NOT to spend the extra to truly make it right. What you see on display at Best Buy, Costco or other shops, is just the BEGINNING of what a fully professionally calibrated set can ultimately look like. Robert has calibrated sets for many of the rich and famous Hollywood crowd and they know what the director intended for you to see on your screen. They want and accept nothing but the best . . . so why shouldn't you for all the money you already spent to get that display device?

Coming from a…read morerunning and cycling background, triathlon was a new territory for me, and I wanted to make sure I was properly set up on the bike. What made the experience even more reassuring is that Dr. Julia is not only a bike fit specialist, but also a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a very competitive athlete in the world of cycling and triathlon. Having someone who truly understands both the science of the body and the demands of the sport made all the difference. She took the time to understand my mobility, my goals, and explained every adjustment along the way. The process felt very intentional and personalized. After my fit, I immediately noticed improved comfort and confidence on the bike, especially during the test ride out. If you're getting into triathlon or want to ride stronger and pain-free, working with someone like Dr. Julia is truly invaluable. I'm thankful she was part of my journey to my first triathlon. Please visit her and book soon!

She was in a bit of a mood and didn't want to go into the store (strangers), and Julie, as a mother herself, brought the helmet outside to us to be able to try it on. I am so thankful that Julie was so accommodating and kind. The helmet fit perfectly and our toddler loves it! I can't wait to return back to AC Bike Shop for future biking needs. I can't recommended them enough. 5 stars isn't enough.

She…read morefound a poster she liked, displayed in a clear plastic holder with multiple copies, and began pulling one out--assuming, as anyone might, that they were available for purchase directly from the display. Instead of a polite correction or guidance, the owner abruptly stormed out from the back and shouted "WHOA WHOA WHOA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"--startling both of us. My wife apologized immediately and tried to explain we weren't aware there was a specific process, but that didn't stop him from continuing to raise his voice and snatching the poster from her hands. He then gave us an unnecessarily condescending lecture about how "it's really just common sense." Even after my wife apologized again and said she would remember for next time, he kept going. His tone was rude, patronizing, and completely disproportionate to the situation. We decided to leave without buying anything because we simply didn't want to be treated that way. To the owner: if you don't want customers touching merchandise, that's completely understandable--but then clearly post signs asking people not to handle items without assistance. Don't assume people know your process, and definitely don't talk down to them when they make a simple mistake. Your behavior was unprofessional, and it ruined what should have been a simple, pleasant shopping experience. We won't be returning, and we sincerely hope others are treated with more basic courtesy and respect than we were.

DON'T DO IT. If you're reading this and trying to decide on a gym--Not this one. There are other…read moregyms in the area, including regular gyms and crossfit ones that are sure to treat you better and have better facilities. I'll start with the non-personal review first. -They're expensive. -They close incredibly early. -They will try to milk you on fees- You're not a person here, you're a cash cow. (despite the fact that this is not a huge box corporation gym) -Their equipment is outdated and there is not nearly enough of it. -No one shows up to run their fitness classes-every time I went at least. I am a Marine combat veteran trying to train and get myself back in shape as I'm applying for a few law enforcement jobs. It's not easy transitioning form the military to civilian life. Money is tight but I needed a gym to get back into shape and I was drawn to the fact that this gym was privately owned and operated. It's a small town community gym that would treat me like a friend/member of the community or so I thought. Not the case. My credit card was stolen, I received a new one on the 1st of the month. Fees are due on the 1st of the month. I called on the first and paid my dues- So I wasn't late in paying my dues..... TWO WEEKS later I was called and told I would have to pay a late fee of $40 bucks. Obviously I was upset. And as I mentioned money is tight. I told the lady (Cathy) who called everything I mentioned above about paying on time and my credit card...She didn't care. I was so upset I asked what the cancellation fees were and she literally LAUGHED at me before she told me. To sum it up, I paid my gym fees on time over the phone. But Because it was a new card they wanted me to pay a $40 late fee- two weeks after the fact. Would you pay this? Apparently if you're not with their program and question what they do, they kick you out. Two hours later Cathy gleefully called me and told me my membership had been cancelled and to find another gym. Is this the kind of community gym you want to go to? This is how they treat people, not to mention veterans trying to make ends meet. This might seem embellished but it's not at all- take it for what it's worth when you're deciding on a gym here in Oroville.

For me that's an instant turn off because every other club we've toured has given us at least a day free pass. The equipment is old for the prices they charge. The sauna doesn't work in the women's room. You feel like you're in a hospital with the pink plastic curtains over the showers. I really was unimpressed. Sadly, I may still end up joining because it is so much closer than my other options but they hardly deserve to call themselves a sports club. Oh yeah and get this: they don't even allow members to bring guests in EVER. They are tight asses but apparently in the trashy town of Oroville that is how a business must operate.
