Decided to try the new hype E-Bike after researching and deciding which style would suit me best. The owner was kind enough to unlock all the bikes and move them around so I could sit on the 3 that I was deciding on. Price range $5500 - $7500. Altis vs Surron? I like Altis for the 98v but the bike seemed too short for me as I am 5'9". I really did not want to spend more than $5500 but decided to go for the new Surron custom at $7500. This bike was the perfect height for me and not too heavy for me to lift by myself if needed. It is beautiful with gold rims , upgraded dirt tires and beefy shocks. Took it trail riding this past weekend and it rides so beautiful! Handles like a real dirtbike, on gravel, sand, dirt, pavement, and rocks. Instant power!! I kept up with my son on his KTM 250 with no problem. Like going from an Honda accord to a Tesla! You wont want to ride another gas bike again! Seriously, just charge it up and it is ready to ride! No gas, no changing spark plugs or oil ever. I am very happy with my decision to go with the more expensive bike. It is well worth it!! I love my Surron Ultra Dirt Bike! Thank you so much to the owner for his patience with me and for his help! I do want to note that this bike is very fast 85mph on a straight away so please choose wisely when purchasing for a child. I went to Moped City when the horn went out on my scooter. Another place started their quote at…read more$135 per hour labor plus parts. I needed to pass safety and knew it couldn't be that hard to fix. Their mechanic wasn't in that day but the owner told me to pull in the shop and we'll see what we can do. The two of us then proceeded to take the scooter apart! We got to the horn and she tested to see if it was indeed the horn by attaching a new one and it worked confirming the horn was bad. While I was there i decided to put on the new turn signal I had with me. I then passed my safety inspection with flying colors. The Mother/Daughter team at Moped City made me feel welcome and like family. After all of their assistance and their time, I wasn't charged for labor at all since I did the work with them. It saved me well over $300! Moped City is now my go to place when it comes to fixing my scooter. No nonsense problem solving at its best!
