I needed to pass safety and knew it couldn't be that hard to fix. Their mechanic wasn't in that day but the owner told me to pull in the shop and we'll see what we can do. The two of us then proceeded to take the scooter apart! We got to the horn and she tested to see if it was indeed the horn by attaching a new one and it worked confirming the horn was bad. While I was there i decided to put on the new turn signal I had with me. I then passed my safety inspection with flying colors. The Mother/Daughter team at Moped City made me feel welcome and like family. After all of their assistance and their time, I wasn't charged for labor at all since I did the work with them. It saved me well over $300! Moped City is now my go to place when it comes to fixing my scooter. No nonsense problem solving at its best!

Although I wasn't super thrilled with the price it had no effect on my overall time spent with the motorcycle or the service from the shop so the 5 star rating stays. Hardest part was finding the location! They are tucked away off S Kihei rd behind what's on Apple Maps as "Kihei Marketplace" Turn into the lot and drive to the back. We called in the morning to see if we could rent mopeds and had them within an hour and a half (an hour if we didn't have to eat breakfast). The delivery made things even more convenient since we didn't have to go and pick them up. We met Keoki at the front of our hotel and he was so wonderful. We've never ridden mopeds before, but he pointed us to the videos and gave us some pointers and we were set! He also went out of his way to give us recommendations for where to snorkel and tell us about cool places to go on the island, including places to eat and stop along the way. We really could not have asked for a better experience. We had initially only rented the mopeds for a day but had so much fun that we extended until the end of our trip. To return them, all we had to do was call them and arrange for the pickup. It was so easy. Renting mopeds our trip so memorable and allowed us to explore so much more of the island. And the drop-off/pick-up service made the process SO EASY and so seamless. If you're considering it, just do it. You won't regret it!
