When I exited, holding only water, I was physically confronted by a peace officer. Despite not being the aggressor, I was charged with assault. Based on my experience, these incidents raise serious concerns about potential misconduct, including unlawful entry, false reporting, and excessive use of force. On Thursday morning, an envelope containing $1,000 was delivered to my assigned PO Box. When I went to retrieve it, the box was completely empty. Upon speaking directly with the employee on duty behind the counter, they admitted on camera that they had been misplacing mail across multiple PO Boxes during that shift. They explicitly confirmed that mail intended for other customers had been swapped into wrong boxes throughout the morning. Despite this immediate admission of sorting errors, no immediate fix was available. A physical check of neighboring boxes and casing units by management yielded nothing, meaning $1,000 intended for critical living expenses was either misdelivered to another customer who walked off with it, lost in the facility, or stolen. To make matters worse, this facility does not have security cameras installed in the PO Box lobby area, leaving zero video trail or accountability when misdelivery or theft occurs inside what is supposed to be a secure federal building. This loss of $1,000 could not have come at a worse time. I am currently pregnant, navigating a career transition before starting a new job, and relying on those funds to cover basic necessities like my car payment and groceries. Having $1,000 vanish from a locked PO Box--combined with staff actively confirming that mail was being placed in wrong boxes that exact morning--is entirely unacceptable for a federal service. I have formally escalated this issue by filing claims with the United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) and contacting federal representatives for a formal inquiry. However, if you are a local resident considering renting a PO Box or having anything of value mailed to this facility, please be extremely cautious. We were here for a traffic violation of the texting variety. Parking was packed even before 9 on a Monday. Got through to security and proceeded to get our service wait tickets via an e-kiosk. It took about 10 minutes before we were registered and told to go to room 30 where the traffic violations were being heard. Upon entering this courtroom, the judge was hearing testimony from a police officer while the "violating" party sat in the table a few chairs from him. Mikes were sensitive enough for testimonies to be heard inside. I figured that those who contested their citations went first as the arresting officer were present during the hearing. This went on for some time, and a 15-minute recess ended the scheduled disputes. It went like a breeze after that as those with petty traffic citations were summoned in batches of three's. I sat with my teen during the proceeding and the judge was thankful for my presence. We luckily got off a forgiveness as this first-time violator was a minor. We spent a total of 2 hrs and 30 minutes overall. Not quite what I planned for a Monday morning, but I'm sure glad it got the result it did.

We listen with our ears, we look with our eyes, we are silent (pointing to the mouth), we sit on our bottoms! They do have simple movements to get the parents and the children moving! One time was the Hokey Pokey dinosaur style! This is a nice library! I would recommend this library in town Auburn, California!
