We owned a home and needed a property manager. Gayle Baum took us on as clients. At first she was nice and then she was not!! We stuck with her for several years, but it was apparent that she was only in it for the money. She was totally put out with us whenever we had an opinion or a request about our property. It was her way or the highway! She told us off a few times because we asked a question or asked her to do something. She told me that she was mad at me because we decided to sell our home to our grandkids instead of listing it with her. We were in a really hard situation with our tenants because they wanted to buy our home but we wanted to sell it to family instead of them. No contract or signatures ever happened so there was nothing binding us to sell it to them. They would not move out and eventually needed to be evicted. She would not communicate or defend us and was just rude to us every time we talked to her about it. She took the side of the tenant and would leave us hanging when we would ask her questions about the whole process. In the end, after they were evicted, when we needed someone to defend and help us going forward with collecting unpaid rent, damages to the home, cleaning up filth that was left. It was on her timeline and her way of doing it or nothing at all. She wrote us off and deleted our file before giving us before and after pictures or a testimony of the whole situation.
