I don't waste my time speaking to anyone that picks up from their call center. Don't let them try to talk you out of it, keep requesting to get transferred.

I left there terrified for my son who is asking me a million questions about what she was saying. I ended up booking the first appointment our regular dentist had once he was back in town for a third opinion. After another round of X-rays he reassured me they were two small cavities on baby teeth that had the adult teeth close under and would be falling out in a year or two and is being treated with two fillings, no sedation.....NO PAPOOSE BOARD. Extremely Disappointing Experience I am extremely…read moredisappointed with this clinic and the way my son was treated. The first time we came, my son was seen as an emergency. They took X-rays and told us that his teeth needed treatment and specifically instructed us to come back on Sunday for the procedure. We followed their instructions and came back on Sunday at the scheduled time. We arrived on time and waited. After about 15 minutes, another family arrived and was called before us. Then another family was called, while we continued waiting with no explanation. Eventually, the receptionist brought us inside and told us to wait for the dentist. When the dentist finally came, she looked at my son and told us that this appointment was ONLY a consultation. I was shocked. I explained that this was already his second visit, that we had already been there for an emergency, that X-rays had already been taken, and that we were specifically told to return on Sunday for the procedure because his teeth needed to be treated. Instead of proceeding with the treatment, the dentist took my son to take X-rays AGAIN. When he came back, he told me that the dentist had been very rough with him. As a mother, hearing that my child felt he was treated roughly was extremely upsetting. And it didn't end there. We waited for MORE THAN AN HOUR while the dentist went on to take care of another patient. Nobody came to explain the delay, nobody gave us an update, and nobody seemed to care that we had been there on time for an appointment that the clinic itself had scheduled. We eventually had no choice but to leave WITHOUT my son receiving the treatment he needed. What is the point of scheduling a child for a procedure, telling the family to come back, making them return for a second visit, repeating X-rays, and then not providing the treatment? This was not a casual dental checkup. My son needed dental treatment after an emergency visit. He is a CHILD, and I expected him to be treated with patience, care, and respect. The lack of organization, communication, professionalism, and compassion was unacceptable. We trusted this clinic with our child, followed all of their instructions, arrived on time, and still left without the care he needed. I would NOT recommend this clinic based on our experience. I hope the clinic takes this seriously and improves the way emergency pediatric patients and their families are treated.

Now that I work AND live in Modesto, I still have no plans to leaving VCARE. I've been going to Dr. Kaur for close to two years now. Other dentists that were rated highly in Modesto are baloney reviews. You never see the dentist in those places. You're treated wonderfully as a new patient but after that it's like a McDonald's to get you through your appointment then schedule the next appointment. Long story short, I found VCARE and Dr. Kaur is an excellent doctor. She has great bedside manners, is very knowledgeable and even completes my teeth cleanings herself. For years, I've been thinking of doing Invisalign and she sold me. Other dentists never made me comfortable with the expenses and the change of lifestyle, but Dr. Kaur did. I'm a third of the way through now and it's easy breezy. So, yes, I drive from Modesto to Tracy to see my dentist; but this office is so well worth it. Janet at the front desk is also amazing, she's soooooooooooooo friendly and knowledgeable. She even communicates through text. If you're looking for a dentist, you will not regret going here!

The office demanded approximately $4,500 out of pocket, beyond my copay, for orthodontic treatment. Because the amount did not appear consistent with my insurance coverage, I filed a formal complaint with my insurance company's Complaints and Appeals Department. After reviewing the matter, the insurance company provided written documentation stating that my responsibility should be approximately $1,040--not the $4,500 being demanded by this office. I personally delivered that paperwork to the office, yet they have failed to respond or move forward with treatment. Treatment is not being provided, and the office appears unwilling to address a documented concern. I have filed complaint against this office to Dental Board of California. A professional healthcare provider should communicate clearly, provide an itemized explanation of charges, work with the insurance company, and avoid leaving a patient without treatment while ignoring written documentation. All in similar situation please complaint against them so these offices shut down quickly and we get someone who are ethical. This experience has caused unnecessary stress, delays, and a complete loss of trust.
