One of the office managers contacted me Wednesday and we had an approval for an appointment Thursday morning at 10am. It's very apparent that they place customer service at the top of their list. Dr. Economou was professional, thoughtful and gave my wife a thorough his eye exam. A prescription for my wife's eye drops was immediately sent to our pharmacy. I can't remember when either of us have had a better experience with a Doctor. They obviously care about their patients and are ready to take care of their needs at any time. Glaucoma needs to be monitored every year. I wish we could give them 10 stars!

I'm sharing my personal experience so others can make informed decisions…read more On January 17th, I visited Stanton Optical for a contact lens exam as a first-time contact wearer. After the exam, I was told to return a few days later for trial lenses. During my follow-up visits, I did not receive hands-on instruction for inserting or removing contacts and was advised to purchase a tool online to help. After using the tool, I had difficulty removing the lens and returned to the office multiple times. I was told there was no lens in my eye. However, I continued to experience ongoing irritation and discomfort and sought care at urgent care, where I was given antibiotic drops as a precaution. Several weeks later, the contact lens came out of my eye. Due to the overall experience and continued discomfort, I returned to request a refund, which was provided. I encourage first-time contact lens wearers to ensure they receive thorough instruction and feel confident with insertion and removal before leaving any provider. Your eye health is too important to rush.

I've gone through more optometrists than I…read morecan count because 1) they wouldn't listen to me and I left the office with a prescription that never felt right and 2) their office was discourteous and 3) I would get random charges to my insurance for things I didn't ask for or wasn't advised would be additional to my yearly exam! Noooo thank you! So I found Dr. West's office from my insurance provider's web page. I am so glad I did. The staff was incredibly friendly and got me in within the week. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile. Even though I was a first time patient, I only waited 10 minutes to see the doctor, even with form filling, insurance stuff, etc. When I got back there, Dr. West was so happy and friendly, his attitude was infectious. But most importantly, Dr. West REALLY took the time to listen to me, issues I'd been having, etc. Dr. West is the ONLY optometrist I've had in my almost 15+ years of wearing glasses and contacts whose listened, and because he did we discovered why my contacts were getting dry and bothering my eyes. Shocking! Dr. West went through several possible options of what could be causing my blurry vision until he figured it out, and not once did he make me feel rushed. She walked me through the step by step process of the Contour Light Therapy and explained how it works. Very knowledgeable about the system, and answer all of my questions very thoroughly. Even though I've become self conscious about my image now, she made me feel so good about myself and was so positive about attaining my goals. The light feels so good and so warm. I seriously almost feel asleep it was so relaxing. Then I got go the second part standing on the vibrating plate. It was pretty funny feeling at first with all my my wobbly bits jiggling , but you get used to it. After that we got a second set of measurements, and I lost at total of 5" from just one session!! I highly recommend coming here and at least trying a few sessions.
