Tony is pure professionalism. The day I called him to arrange a ride, he was digging out cars after getting 18-20" of snow. He took my call, explained the service (where to be picked up, time to resort), and arranged/scheduled our ride. He followed up in the days leading to the flight and was in communication once we landed. He was in a 4wd vehicle because he knew the conditions we were heading into as we rolled up to the resort. Plenty of room, clean car, and Tony was great about answering our questions on the surrounding area. Pick up was a breeze as Tony confirmed our ride and time the night before and had us at the airport in plenty of time to grab a bite to eat before heading out on our flight. His rate was very fair, especially considering it was a peak time of the year with Sundance going on in Park City, and we were staying over the range and completely out of the way from all of the action (and opportunity for him to make more $$). **IMPORTANT NOTE: In EVERY other city - across the WORLD - INCLUDING my hometown, I am a die-hard Uber User. But just like last year, South Valley Shuttle is proving to be THEmost reliable way to get around Park City during Sundance. It's impossible to drive your OWN car (because there's no parking ANYWHERE), and the traffic is...it's just awful. But SVS (and Tony in particular) makes getting around not just bearable, but NICE. Tony knows all the good shortcuts, he drives safely but quickly, and he CARES about being on time and getting you where you need to go. He understands about how crazy Sundance is (and how early you have to get in line!) and can just TELL if you're running late and stressed out. I was so impressed with them LAST year I went online and made my airport reservations TWO WEEKS in advance. Finally a shuttle service that is on time and doesn't make you wait! I have tried so many shuttle services from the airport and every one of them made me wait 40-50 minutes while their driver came to get us (meaning, their driver was not even at the airport even though we had a guaranteed confirmation of no waiting more than 15 minutes). After long flights, layovers and days of travelling, when I arrive at home, I don't want to wait anymore --I just want to walk out and have my driver there. Finally I found one! Tony was also very accommodating when we changed our pick up time on our departure day. He was on time, car was very nice and clean. Sundance transportation can be a disaster and it's getting worse every year. Tony, the owner of South Valley Shuttle was referred by a friend and he saved me this year. Thankfully he was available for a last minute airport run when I changed my flight. He showed up 5 minutes early, helped with my heavy equipment cases and got me there early because unlike the Uber drivers I had in Park City that relied on their smartphones, Tony actually knew all the short cuts to avoid festival traffic.
