Let me tell you, this hotel is located in the absolutely perfect spot if you are there for the nightlife. It is right in the heart of downtown Bentonville. And to our surprise, the farmers market that spans for blocks, every Saturday 7a-1p, is literally right outside the front doors. Okay, lets get down to it. Beautiful hotel with fun and artistic decor. Beautiful, clean, large rooms with all the amenities; even robes and a Nespresso maker. More than most hotels. The drapes were hung so beautiful and the black chandelier is gorgeous. My favorite part is the bathroom. It has pink floral wallpaper and it's so quaint. The whole room was filled with such detail and intention. Michael is such a wonderful cook. There were homemade scones and cinnamon rolls served with eggs, bacon or sausage and they also had little parfaits. I had to have everything because it smells so delicious! Totally worth it to stretch my waistline. Joana mentioned they plan to open a bed and breakfast in France! With the wonderful couple hosting, you know I'll be there! We too found that the owners were gracious hosts and the breakfast was delicious. I want to add two thoughts. First, the neighborhood was very quiet with lots of well kept and interestingly landscaped old houses, and it was a safe pleasant walk to Crystal Bridges and downtown. Second, if you wanted to drive to Bentonville with a friend who didn't want to go to Crystal Bridges, your friend would be just fine hanging around Laughlin House watching movies on their nice TVs, reading, or sitting (at least in the Spring) in their garden while you visit the museum.

It's nice knowing that a gatekeeper up front can assist the people looking possibly cause trouble. I get late night if they are folding laundry or setting up conference rooms...but it seemed odd that someone wasn't greeting people on way in or out. Maybe I've stayed too many places. The fireplace in the main dining made the daily continental breakfast buffet and dinner (Mon-Thur) a cozy affair. Alas, since I was on a business trip, I didn't have much time to check out their other amenties (fitness, pool, convenience store), but it was good to know that they were available. Our suite was spacious, comfortable, and most importantly, very clean. I really liked having a separate living area with a couch, giving us plenty of room to relax instead of being confined to just a bedroom. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained. One of the highlights was the complimentary hot breakfast. There were plenty of options to choose from, which made for a great start before heading out for the day. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. Overall, Homewood Suites by Hilton Bentonville-Rogers was a great choice for our Arkansas road trip--clean rooms, plenty of space, a convenient location, and a really good breakfast. Definitely a place I would stay at again when visiting Northwest Arkansas.
