I tried reaching out to the online parts dealer to get a replacement sent overnight, but they couldn't get it to me that quick.

I had just arrived in Cookeville after driving 13 hours from New Jersey and my low tire pressure…read morelight came on. I tried putting air in the tire but to no avail. It was 5pm and I called the first auto care place that came up on Google which was Firestone. I honestly didn't think they were going to let me bring my car over to be looked at since it was an hour before they closed. I called and spoke with Mason who was very kind and told me to "bring it on over, we'd be happy to look at it!" I was thrilled! When I arrived, Mason was there to greet me and immediately put my mind at ease. He told me what they were going to do, the "worst case scenario" and the cost for every option. He even said "since you're traveling more tomorrow, we'll check your fluids and top them off if necessary." Just wonderful! I ended up needing a new tire which Mason has already set aside at my arrival. They ended up staying open later just because they accommodated me. Needless to say, I was back at my hotel by 625 pm and could rest easy knowing my car was safe. Time to exhale for this weary traveler. The staff at this Firestone were simply the best. From the amazing Mason to Caleb to Kristy the manager to the 2 young men who were obviously busting their butts to complete not only my car but 2 other people who had walked in around the same time as me - all top notch employees. I couldn't recommend this Firestone enough!!!!

My husband took his truck to Firestone for four new tires. Four. Tires. At a tire shop. He thought…read morehe had set them up for success. Apparently, he was too optimistic. He had an appointment scheduled for 10:00 a.m., but we dropped the truck off at 6:00 that morning so they would have it there and ready to go. He left it with them all day. That afternoon, he called to see if it was finished and was confidently told, "Yep, it's ready." Excellent. We arrive, and the truck is still on the lift, has NO TIRES ON IT, and--for reasons that remain one of life's great mysteries--the hood is open. Why the hood? Were they looking for the tires in there? After waiting another hour, they finally finished whatever automotive escape room they were working through and handed him the keys. He drives away, and immediately the dashboard lights up like a slot machine having a seizure. Every tire sensor is throwing warnings. He calls Firestone. "Oh, sometimes the sensors just need to calibrate." Ah, yes. Calibration. The next day, after my husband drove to work accompanied by enough beeping and buzzing to qualify the truck as heavy machinery, his work mechanic checked it out. Turns out ALL OF THE TIRE SENSORS WERE SITTING IN THE CUP HOLDER. I'm no ASE-certified technician, but I'm fairly confident the cup holder is not one of the recommended mounting locations for a tire pressure sensor. But the fun did not stop there. Apparently, instead of properly balancing the tires, they just kept throwing weights at them and hoping that eventually the problem would balance itself out through sheer determination. The amount of weight they used was above TDOT standards. Nothing inspires confidence quite like learning that the official repair strategy was apparently, "Just keep adding more weights and see what happens." So after paying a TIRE SHOP to install and balance TIRES, he had to take the truck to Casey at Cumberland Customs to have the tire-related parts actually installed on the tires and the balancing corrected properly. Firestone somehow took one of the most basic services in the automotive industry and turned it into a full-day group project where nobody read the instructions, everyone guessed, and the cup holder became a parts department. If you need tires installed and balanced correctly, I'd recommend Casey at Cumberland Customs. If you need four expensive rubber circles loosely associated with your vehicle, an alarming collection of wheel weights, and the rest of the parts hidden inside the cab like Easter eggs, Firestone has you covered.
