Beautiful and iconic spot along the Southern California coast. The views from the pier are great,…read morewhether you visit during the day with clear ocean horizons or at night when the coastline lights up on both sides. On a clear day, you can see Palos Verdes Peninsula in one direction and the Malibu coastline in the other. The surrounding promenade is lively and well-maintained, perfect for a walk, bike ride, or just relaxing by the beach. There are plenty of great restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby, making it easy to turn a simple visit into a full afternoon or evening outing. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during busy times. There are metered spots available, along with nearby lots and street parking if you're willing to walk a bit. The pier itself is also home to the Roundhouse Aquarium at the end. Dogs are not allowed on the pier.

I had such a relaxing time at the Manhattan Beach Pier while visiting California. It was one of…read morethose simple moments that just felt good. The little aquarium at the end was small but really cute, and it's free (I LOVE free!!). Nothing over the top, just an easy stop while you're out there. The pier itself has plenty of room to walk or sit and zone out a bit. I spent some time just leaning on the railing, reading a few pages of my book, and taking in the ocean. I even spotted dolphins in the distance, which honestly made my day. Watching surfers paddle out toward the waves...and in the direction of the dolphins... it felt like such a classic California scene. I left feeling lighter than when I arrived for sure!

Very very good establishment! Good service, good food. I'd recommend a lot of things there, but…read moretheir mushroom fusilli is fantastic!! So, I have a new rating system......I will write what I feel honestly about an establishment. The only ratings I will give are 5 stars, which is enjoyable, or 3 stars which is "needs work."

Honestly everyone giving this place a 5 star review - I TRUSTED YOU, HOW DARE YOU!!!…read more I knew pulling up to this place it would be a miss. Florescent lights, shabby wood tables and chairs, plastic menus. This could either be really good or really bad. The bread feels stale and was hard. The butter is individually wrapped. Smashed dirty straws were served with drinks. Huge portions of decent food. The more you eat the more you realize it's not great. Definitely needs salt and pepper but the pepper shakers barely let anything out. I asked for parm (they do not offer!) and they gave it in plastic individual containers which was honestly offensive. Dessert was a huge miss, the creme brûlée was super eggy???? The tiramisu had like a sour milk after taste. My stomach immediately hurt before even leaving the restaurant. The vibes are overall not great and neither is the food. $160 for 3 people to eat. 2 stars are for the server who made a huge effort to accommodate us.

(to give you a visual) womp, womp. Jake assessed the "project" to determine that it wasn't fit for me to ride, which made me feel safe that I was in good hands as he was looking out for my well-being - LOVE THAT! Love you, Jake!!! You're my boy blue. The repairs were costly at first, and he made it work within my budget. Full transparency (asking questions) and good communication go a long way and keep the peace (note to everyone). I am soooo beyond grateful that he knew what was needed and took care of it all within just two days! Attentive, fast, and thorough - calling to share updates along the way. (No one likes financial surprises, so that was kind on my wallet). Also, upon pickup, Kevin noticed my seat was too low and hiked it up to the height that was appropriate for my leg/knee length - thank you, Kevin! 5 stars and 5 snaps! If your bike is broken... this is where you go without a doubt. You're welcome. Thanks again, Jake & Kevin!

I planned this ride around catching the sunset on the peir, right after turning the bike in. This location is perfect for that. Its literally a 1 minute walk from the peir.
