He scheduled me to see Dr. Fuerst as soon as he returned just so that I'd feel great about my lack of retinal injury! I was so relieved and glad that the docs were there to help! I've always received first-class care - - sure, they get busy... they're the best around... but I've only had to wait once! My first choice?? IS my doctor, Fuerst!!!

This was one of the worst medical experiences of my life. I was referred to SouthEast Eye by my…read moreoptometrist for chalazion assessment and removal. Not only did the tech who asked me to sign consent to the procedure refuse to go over the risks of the surgery with me, but no one ever mentioned that the procedure might not work. It did not, because the chalazions returned 2 weeks post-op. Worse, the doctor nicked my eye with a scalpel during the procedure, which caused a HUGE hemorrhage. My entire eye was almost black, filled with blood for weeks. It is 2 months later and I still have a streak of yellow and a red spot in my eye. The practice manager said she would call me back when I called with my concerns, and despite my following up, she never got back to me. Do not go here. They are unethical and unprofessional.

I called today about seeing either my regular ophthalmologist or the one that had helped me last week.That was around 11:00. At 3:00, I called again and was told the doctor had not replied to the desk. Then i called before 5:00-closed. I am part of a family of long line of physicians in town and they would not ever leave without at least responding to a patients' call by phone I don't understand I could not recommend them.
