    Philip arrived promptly, quickly identified the problem, and he got my A/C running in no time. He was very inexpensive as well.

    To start off, there are not ENOUGH stars on google to rate Holy City and Air…read more Story time: I feed a cat colony near a school I work at and tnr the cats through CAS and make sure all kittens are brought there as well to be adopted out. During my most recent kitten rescue 2 of the 4 kittens I had in my bathroom broke into the air vents and fell into the AC duct work underneath my house in the crawl space. After a 911 call, the fire department showing up and sawing through most of my duct work, calling multiple AC companies for help, and a few panic attacks later, Tom (the owner of Holy City Heating and Air) said he had rescued kittens out of duct work in the past and said he would come help me. He came AFTER a full day of work and got BOTH of the kittens out of the duct work safely. But somehow he and this company get even better. He came back in person the next day and fixed everything we took apart last night and what the fire department sawed through. To say Tom is one of the most selfless people I have ever met is an understatement and I truly don't know how I will ever repay him. He is such a genuine person and it's clear he cares for people and his clients. Since this debacle I have recommend his company to literally every person I know and he has made a life long customer out of me. I've worked in customer service my entire life including entertainment at the Walt Disney Company at Disneyland in California and the National Park Service. When I say I know people and how customers should be treated I mean that. He exhibited highest level of customer service I've personally ever witnessed (and I wasn't even a customer). Furthermore he exemplifies what it means to be a good person and a Charlestonian. I love you Holy City Heating and Air and thank you Tom so much for all that you did for me and the kittens. P.S. The picture attached is of the second and spiciest kitten that was saved by Tom from the duct work and some of the duct work that he fixed :)

    It was Sunday evening when I discovered a plumbing problem at the house. I decided to put out a…read morerequest a quote through Yelp so I could see who was available and get some pricing for Monday morning. I've had this issue happen years ago so I was pretty confident in the fact that I needed my main line snaked/augered. I feel like the whole point of doing these requests is to get the info you need without a bunch of phone calls and visitors to the house, but it feels like pulling teeth trying to get a quote out of someone. I understand there are variables, but I'm including a description of what I need... at least give me a ballpark. While Holy City is one of the ones that would not offer any pricing, they did offer a free estimate and they also got back to me Sunday evening within minutes of putting in my request. I went back and forth on the app and set up an appointment for Monday morning between 10am-12pm and was told I would get a text 30 mins before to let me know someone was on the way. Well 10-12 came and went with no tech, no call, and no text. I did shoot them a message at that point letting them know that nobody came. A while later, they sent me a message saying that my appointment time had changed and would now be between 3-5pm. No apology or acknowledgement of the missed appointment from that morning. So I replied, "No thank you. You already no call/no showed our first appointment". I get no response on the app so I figure what's done is done. Then I get a text around 3:15pm letting me know a tech is on his way to my home. I responded with a shortened version from above and that I no longer wanted service. Then it seemed I was getting a new message from an Aaron D stating he canceled the appointment and was sorry for the confusion about my appointment. I pointed out that there was no confusion about the appointment and that I was ready and waiting the whole time to which their tech no call/no showed. Then they just reschedule me for 5 hours later with zero explanation or apology. At that point, the problem was already fixed by another plumber from another company who was more reliable. From there, Aaron did apologize for the inconvenience and acknowledged that the mistake was on their end and he would deal with it internally. Based on other reviews and the quick response to my initial inquiry, I was really looking forward to a great experience. Maybe this was a fluke for them, but I can only go off of the experience I had and it was quite disappointing. I'll add an extra star for Aaron reaching out to remedy the situation and acknowledging their mistake, but I won't be recommending them to anyone else.
