The atmosphere is so cute especially if you have kids. There is an age limit so if you have kids a bit older around 6ish they wouldn't be able to play on the playground with younger siblings. There isn't much seating since a lot of it is a playground but I love the idea of moms being able to go out while the kids have fun too. The drinks are unique which weas awesome to see. They have the basic fan favorites like banana bread matcha but they had fun new stuff too like an orange creamcicle latte. The servers are so sweet and patient while i looked through the menu, it is a lot to look through but options are always great. The drinks are a little too sweet so I'd recommend asking for half sweet. read more

Holiday cafe is wonderful! Their matches are strong. I always get it with vanilla although it isn't very sweet at all. On a summer day with the garage door open this place rocks! I want to try the smoothie bowls at one point. They also have free black coffee which I think is awesome! read more

My sister and I came here to celebrate my nieces and daughters 2nd birthday, plus allowing them to play since it was a cold day. Upon arrival, there was not a lot of people there which was nice, it was just two other kids at first when we arrived and then I believe another one showed up so the play area got a little packed between my niece, my daughter and nephew plus the other kids but they all were respectful and playing with each other which was nice. The cafe is nice and relaxing, plus the video is delicious. I also got an Americano courtesy of the gal at the register who helped me choose something with a ton of caffeine since I was feeling exhausted. Unsure why I was hesitant of having to make reservations for the play area with the limit of 6 children. It was so simple and great to sit at that area watching them play since they were the only two in there. We adults were able to sit and sip, enjoy our treats and chat a bit while they happily played together. They are so sweet and adorable I did have to join them some. Our 90 minutes flew right on by. A 7:30 am early Summer Monday morning was the time to book! We had the place to ourselves most of the time with only a couple people sitting, and coming in or out until the very end of our time. Looked like it was a bout to get busy?! The prices may seem high, but for quality, scratch made with love in such a beautiful setting. . . (Overhead is at an all time high.) We visited this new cafe and had suchhhh a great time. This is an amazing, welcomed addition to the downtown Puyallup scene! We made a reservation a couple of weeks in advance as the play area has to be booked in advance. Their reservation system has been promised to be coming soon but I think they're having technical issues, because they just opened the reservations through Instagram DM or email for now. It took a couple of messages to get through to them on Instagram, but once I did they were able to set up a convenient appointment quickly. You can definitely tell that the word is spreading quickly about this place because it was packedddd. The play area is only open to 6 kids at a time and you get to reserve it for 90 minute intervals. The play structure isn't huge but my kids loved it and they were entertained for the entire reservation. They also loved the big light peg board and all of the other toys in the area! I love that the toys are all pretty neutral in color and don't make any noise as that can be pretty overstimulating for some kids. Both my 18 month old and 4 year old had an absolute blast here and there was plenty for them to do. The seating is really intentional too, because you're able to sit at a coffee bar area that overlooks the play area. This would be the PERFECT spot for a working mom to be able to bring her kids and get work done while being able to safely supervise. There is a gate that keeps the kids in and most kids won't be able to reach the lock to escape. This play area is meant for kids 6 months - 6 years old, so just keep that in mind! I should probably mention that I did indeed try their coffee, and it's delicious. I got the Egg Nog Latte which is obviously a seasonal offering. They had a few other seasonal beverages and it appears that they might donate part of the profit back to community organizations, because the organizations were listed under the drink names. I should've asked for clarification, but if that's the case, that's so cool! Holiday Cafe is definitely going to go into the rotation for us in these colder months. This was my first time here, I have been so excited to come! From the moment you walk in, it has the most relaxing and lovely feeling to it. It feels homey but also chic! My kiddo had the best time in the play area. They did a wonderful job equipping it with many fun things to play with. I ordered the cheddar and onion scone and it was delicious, very flavorful! I also got a hazelnut iced americano. This is my go to drink and I am not kidding- this was the best I have ever had! This cafe is such a special gem, I can't wait to come back! This is a hidden gem in Puyallup..... My Americano was tasty with 3 shots of espresso & chocolate peppermint decadent cookie.. to wow over (probably seasonal)... Would have my order again!!! This was my first time here, & enjoyed my visit!!! there were a few cozy couches with a coffee table to put your drinks & plates of treats on, as well as table & chairs. One of the cutest cafes I've been to! The aesthetics and interior are modern. I noticed they have a frame with a religious quote. There was also an area where you can write notes. There is even a play area which I thought was awesome. It allows parents and their kiddos to enjoy. Now for what I got. I tried their matcha with simple syrup. It was tasty and to my liking. Took my kiddos to play at the cafe today. Service was average, not overly friendly, not rude. We didn't order coffee or snacks because they are not allowed in the play area so this review is solely for the play area. First thing I noticed was my daughter covering her ears every time the steamer or blender was used, she's not a fan of loud noises but after a while got used to it. On that note the speaker for the entire cafe is right above the play area so it was a little loud on that front, additionally they play worship/religious music so if that's not your thing it might bother you. The jungle gym is not accessible for littler littles who cannot climb as well as big kids and the flooring behind the ladder isn't padded, I'll include photos. The slides have large drops that are unsafe if kiddos go down on their tummies like smaller kids tend to do. Just my personal opinion I could see my 17mo getting hurt a few ways however my 3yo LOVED it. Overall we had a great time and found the play area a great value ($7 for 2 kiddos). Been wanting to check this place out. Came in, it was kind of busy. There was a kiosk to order from or a person at the counter? A little confusing... no one motioned us to move to the front even though the line was long so we waited for the kiosk until another customer asked if we were in line. The service was ok, a little too chill like they could use a little more effort in their service. Not mean, just a little more organization. We ordered two coffees, a cookie, and scone. The lady said someone had just ordered the last cookie we wanted and they were out. We were like oh ok... The other worker said that the cookie was still available and we could have it. It has a nice play area for younger kids to go in, while you're able to enjoy your food/drink. I give it 3 stars because the dessert was overwhelming, it was too much going on.
