There are patterns for bags, wall-hangings, miscellaneous and yes, even some clothes. The people that work here answer questions, offer help, and teach classes on any number of topics. The enthusiasm from them is contagious and I almost signed up for every class offered. The store is open on certain days for anyone who wants to come in and sew, or, because there's limited space for sewing machines, others can come in and do any kind of needlework. It's a chance for the people to chat, get to know others, and take advantage of the collective experience of the fellow needle-workers. During my brief visit, one woman in the back was offering advice to another on how to get the effect she was seeking on a wall hanging, by changing the placement, size, and color of the fabric swatches she was using, to give the picture depth.
