I stopped in for an afternoon treat and ordered a slice of coconut cream pie with an iced coffee…read more The pie had a light, homemade taste without being overly sweet, and the coffee paired with it perfectly. It was a cozy little café that made for a nice break in the middle of the day.

We drove through Welsh, about 45 minutes away before we tried our food or we wouldn't given it back and let them know. The pepper jelly burger was good, a bit too much pepper jelly, but again a bit salty. We love salty food but this was just over the top:( I got a bourbon caramel (I think) latte with whole milk. When I got handed my latte it was almost white. And I look behind and see an ice cream base carton on the counter. Me, thinking it's a mistake "oh! Did you by change use the ice cream base in my latte?" To which she stared at me... and said "yes. That's how we make them." ... Being that I asked for whole milk it doesn't really matter how it's made, but also... why are we making lattes with a creamy ice cream base?? Just a bit odd. Other than that, cute place. Love the games on the tables. We've gone once before and had an okay experience but again just not great, and not what I'd expect from such a cute local place!!

This now sixth-generation family bakery continues to follow the same simple, time-tested process that began in 1884 and nothing besides the delicious products represents this more than the historic structure that houses this hometown specialty bakery. Nothing says Louisiana like a taste of this delicious french bread hot from the oven, from the crusty exterior and light velvety interior it's needs nothing to take you back in time although a slab of salted butter could take the experience over the top. The staff here is so friendly and accommodating and are eager to share a part of the history - it's like no other place I've been, it was definitely a joy to see a business still operating much as it did when it started more than 142 years ago, this is a rare and unique opportunity to not only see but actually taste a bite of history and tradition. This was definitely on my radar as a place to visit and a place I plan to return too when visiting the area.

In my opinion, there is no product out there that could even come close to its quality & taste. Their bread & ginger cakes are heads & shoulders above any product available in stores. We are fortunate to have this bakery locally. The bakery's products are so delicious, they are 2nd to none.

We ordered a few appetizers and entrees, and everything was made with attention to detail and delicious seasoning. The ambiance was cozy and had a welcoming vibe. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. You can tell that the food and a great dining experience are their priority, and they succeeded. Back to the BEST food item in New Orleans, do not sleep on their unique savory beignets. They were bursting with flavor, and we found nothing else like them. I highly recommend this signature dish, which was beautifully presented and loaded with layers of flavor that we can still vividly remember. B Sweeet Bistro is perfect for a memorable, flavorful, and authentic meal. It has an extensive menu and is within safe walking distance of the French Quarter. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make time to visit B Sweet Bistro.

We purchased the pecan cake and a lemon cake. In addition, we purchased 2 tea cookies. The lemon cake was well received and said to be moist. My pecan cake was delicious. Best way to describe it is that it tastes like a pecan log. Stick with the cake. Perhaps try other cookies. Tea cookies were definitely not a favorite. Overall, would eat at this place again for cake that is homemade.
