My gf and I stopped by on Monday morning hoping to grab a nice iced coffee. We ended up getting breakfast and some nice conversation as well. The whole vibe of the shop was fun and comfortable. Not settling for some boring corporate coffee is always our goal, and Java Joltz delivered 100% on their promise to make us happy. We also had a couple of their keto cookies and a non-keto cookie and they were amazing. The breakfast sandwich and the breakfast bowl filled us up and didn't break the bank. The coffee drinks are great here...honestly much better crafted than Starbucks, but what I love most is the lunch menu! Delicious! And different! It's counter service, so not a high bar, but the staff is always friendly and quick. The ambience is nothing special, we usually take it to go, but they do have a small, separate meeting room, (you might have to reserve it, I don't know), so that is handy, and it is always clean! read more

We were out gambling a bit and got hungry so we decided to look for sandwiches and coffee, and I am glad we found this place! We saw that it had great reviews and decided to give it a try. At first, it looked like it was in an unusual spot and almost missed the entrance. But don't let the outside appearance fool you! It's actually quite spacious and fancy inside with a nice ambience. Now, for the food and drinks. My wife tried the Tomato Basil soup and LOVED IT. I didn't try it but, she says it's amazing and definitely worth mentioning. If you like tomato soup, you must try it here! I got the annihilator sandwich and it was delicious. It most definitely tastes like it was made with care, not like other places where it's pre-made and just heated. We also got the biscuits and gravy, which you get a big portion and are pretty good. The cappuccino was delicious! And a nice touch with the design on it. Lots of good flavors to add too! PS: the do have high chairs if you decide to bring in your kiddos! read more

Java Joltz is a great little local coffee shop, and in my experience, they have best coffee in Jennings. I'm a bit fan of trying their Latte flavor of the day! Big city class coffee in a small town. They have a large seating area, with separate areas if you want quiet to do some work. There's a few tables out front if you want to sit outdoors. Make sure to check in on Yelp as they often have a check-in discount. Well worth the short detour from I-10 if you are passing through! read more

Everything about this place is wonderful, from the clean bathrooms and the customer service all the way to the most important part, the drinks. My mom got a triple shot with steamed heavy cream and lavender and I got the campfire mocha. If I had it to do over, I would get the same thing my mom did. The campfire mocha was also delicious, with very subtle flavoring, but the lavender was just sooooo beautiful to the palate. The girls were very friendly and despite the long drive thru line, our drinks didn't take long at all. I was only passing through on a road trip, but I've definitely bookmarked the shop for my next trip through the area. read more

I'm so sick of the same flavorless, chemical-filled, fake, processed, just-add-water "gravy" that everyone uses nowadays and jump at any chance to try somebody's real gravy. Great coffee shop. We had breakfast squares, an almond milk half-sweet English toffee latte, and a brewed coffee. All were very good. I like that this place conveniently located. I'm from Portland, Oregon, where coffee is an art and a way of life. I'm tough to impress. Java Joltz made my day. We just left Java joltz and this is the BEST COLD BREW COFFEE we've ever had! We're both addicted to cold brew ever since the trend hit our hometown NYC, but we came across Java joltz on a road trip and we wish there was a Java joltz back home... or we could at least buy their beans!! Also the woman who served us through the drive through window was SO SWEET and you can tell she really cares about coffee and making customers smile :) she even gave our dog a little whipped cream "puppacino" ! Stopped in here on our way across country. As a barista at a local coffee shoppe, I appreciate locally roasted, strong fresh coffee and espresso. I got a very caffeinated drink for me and my husband called the tommyTrucker or something lol. Amazing!! 4 shots espresso, coffee and half and half with some marshmallow syrup. Yum?! Craving coffee when there's no corporate chains???? Stop here!! Seriously less than 5 minutes off the interstate. Husband and I are both equally satisfied. My pecan pie latte was delish and his pumpkin pie blended coffee was yum as well. But that's not it.....the pumpkin pie praline...Lordy!!!! Worth every calorie. The environment was precious too.
