The black-eyed peas were good, although I personally think white beans would have paired better with the meal. The sweet tea was excellent, and the service was one of the highlights. The person at the counter was friendly, respectful, and welcoming, and my food came out quickly. The atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a local mom-and-pop lunch spot; simple, relaxed, and perfect for a quick bite.
