Yesterday my mom, my uncle and I wanted to go do some self care since we just moved from Colorado to Florida 14 days ago. I called 6 nail salons and none could accommodate us at the same time, totally understand. I called joy nails and they were so kind right off the bat and got us in within 30 minutes. The salon itself was beautiful and the atmosphere was so positive. The lady next to us was a returning customer as well and the banter with David was just hilarious. We requested a pedi for my uncle (his first time and he seemed to enjoy it!) My mom and I got fresh sets. I requested a new gel x set which meant soaking off my old set, then starting a fresh one. Because I had indents in my nails due to the previous set I got in Colorado, he told me it wouldn't be safe to do gel x and acrylic would be better. He executed my French tip perfectly and his wife did my mom's flower cat eye better than anyone she's ever been to. David also made a very good point, I'm in Florida now so nails are better. However, it wasn't just that, spending money and an hour of your time somewhere can be really hard sometimes and they were great people to be around. I had a great experience, thank you so much!

I tried to remain patient while my nails were redone multiple times, but the polish continued to bubble and crack. Even after several attempts, the final result was uneven, inconsistent, and did not match the colors I originally selected. The salon initially offered 10% off a future service, but that offer was withdrawn after I requested a refund for the $15 chrome upgrade that had not been done correctly. Because I had received a 5% cash discount on the original purchase, I was refunded only $14. Regardless of the calculation, the entire interaction felt frustrating after spending so much time trying to get the service corrected. Unfortunately, the problems continued after I left. The nails that had been repeatedly redone began cracking shortly afterward, and they felt noticeably thin from being worked on so many times. At that point, the service felt like a complete waste of both time and money. The most disappointing part was not simply that mistakes happened, but that multiple attempts to fix them still did not produce acceptable results. I also did not feel that the customer-service response appropriately reflected the amount of time I spent there or the poor final outcome. Based on the quality, durability, and handling of the situation, I would not return.
