Moises replaced the cracked feeder pipe, and installed a new stainless-steel burner to minimize future corrosion. He also raised the burner so we have an improved flame. The firepit looks great, and the functionality is much improved. The labor rate was reasonable, but if you go the stainless-steel route, just know that the burner is going to cost twice as much as a standard galvanized gas pipe but will solve the corrosion issue. He knows what he is doing, and I would recommend him if you need repairs to your firepit or fireplace.

After only 1.5 years, the unit has already stopped working properly, which is unacceptable for such an expensive investment. Despite following all maintenance recommendations, I've had issues with burner failure, electrical and remote. When I reached out the owner, he was very unhelpful, unresponsive and extremely rude every time I was able to get hold of him. A fireplace should last much longer than this, and I would not recommend HB FIRE PITS based on my experience. If you're considering purchasing from them, I strongly suggest looking into other options or ensuring you get an extended warranty. Also my next-door neighbor also purchase the same fireplace like mine at the same time, and she's been having many problems with the hardware and the owner. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service from HB fire pits, especially from the owner. When my fireplace started having issues, I reached out for repairs and maintenance, expecting professional assistance. Instead, I was met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and a complete lack of concern for customer satisfaction. Rather than standing behind their product and helping to resolve the problem, the owner was unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility.
