This is the second time I've used him, and he has been fantastic both times. The first time he came out, he did a full fireplace sweep and was extremely thorough, professional, and reasonably priced. Recently, I thought I might have a dead rat in my fireplace and was hoping for a same day appointment, but he wasn't available. I ended up calling another company, and they came out and immediately tried to upsell me on multiple expensive services. Something didn't feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion and called him back. When he came out, he did another fireplace sweep and also repaired cracks in both the exterior and interior of my fireplace. He took the time to carefully inspect everything and honestly told me those additional services the other company recommended were not necessary. I really appreciated his honesty and not trying to take advantage of the situation. His pricing is very fair, and his work is excellent. He cleaned our ducts, serviced the inside of the dryer stack, and replaced the roof vent cap with the proper system since the old one wasn't designed for dryers. Absolutely amazing. Found this company by chance while searching for top rated dryer vent cleaners on Yelp. I called Jesse Moreno on Tuesday, he gave me a quote for a dryer vent cleaning over the phone and came in person to do the job that same Thursday. My dryer vent is odd and goes up through a wall in the center of the house and exits on the roof on the 2nd floor (thanks new home builder). I also asked him to inspect the full length of my vent tube, since houses in my area were known for rushed shoddy construction and part of the vent tube had come apart some years back (but was repaired by some AC guys I hired a few yrs ago). Jesse showed up 15min early and got the entire job done within about 35min, including a full cleaning of the vent tube from the roof all the way down to my dryer without having to move anything, take anything apart, and he spent a minimum of time inside my house. At my request, he also ran a camera down the tube to ensure there were no unrepaired breaks or leaks and everything was intact and working the way it was supposed to. At the end of the job he provided me with the video which showed my vent tube was sparkly clean, and he ended up charging me exactly what he quoted over the phone and not a penny more. Yes this job can be DIY if you have the right tools. But Jesse was so fast and clean and did the job so effortlessly, I feel like I will keep his number and call him every so often and save myself the time and effort.
